Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

I can basically guarantee you that if its Asian food, I'm gonna like it. This held true for Panda Express. It was reminiscent of the times I used to eat in mall food courts as a child - there really isn't anything better than soy saucy, teriyaki chicken and fried rice. What especially stood out about this place was the service and the physical environment. That building is awesome! You can tell they really put some thought into the architecture/interior. I thought it was nice that the guy serving us, Shaday, offered us multiple samples even though the line was getting longer and longer behind us. Because it was our first time, we wanted to make sure we saw all the offerings before deciding. I ultimately got the mushroom chicken and the beef and broccoli. Honestly, the beef and broccoli wasn't much to write home about, but the mushroom chicken was very tasty. Here's the icing on the cake: I casually mentioned that it was our first time there, and as a goodwill gesture, Shaday gave us each a bag of fortune cookies! The bag even included a free entree ticket. It left quite the impression on us.... Very thoughtful for such a "commercial," "impersonal" place. Bathrooms were spacious and of course, there's plenty of parking. Rice and two entrees was $6.75 so price was on point too. We'll be back when we're on this side of town.

Tried this place again. We waited about 15-20 minutes for the entrees we wanted to be replaced on the hot line. With the delays that still occurred between plating and sitting down to eat, nothing was still hot. There is a problem somewhere with this place: either they are not making enough at one time or they cannot produce enough volume on the fly to keep up with the demand. The former is management choice and the latter may be a restriction of the facility or staffing. Either way, it does not work.

After driving by many times, I finally decided to try Panda for a take-out lunch today. I was pretty sure there was a promo code so I googled for it. If you order online, use the code NOLINE at checkout to get a free medium side with an a la carte entree. I got the signature orange chicken entree and a mixed veggie side. The chicken was very good but not really special. However, the veggie medley of broccoli, carrots, zucchini, string beans and cabbage was freshly sauteed and excellent. The small entree and medium side was definitely enough for two adults. There were 3 or 4 cars at the drive-through, so I decided to go inside to get my order. The clean interior was bright and cheery. I noticed that there is food bar of already prepared entrees and sides that should allow the servers to assemble orders quickly. My order was ready so I was able to get in and out with little delay. Yes, I WILL visit PE again.

As previous reviewers have stated... the wait can be extremelllllllly long (I've also waited 30mins or so in the drive-thru) and the food can be hit or miss... 1st visit, my bf ordered the chicken w. broccoli I think... He didn't have any complaints - but it was late and he was hungry... I just "ate" the cream cheese rangoons and hateddddd them, they tasted bland/sweet/commercial - so we threw them away (what was I expecting). 2nd visit, I ordered the honey walnut shrimp, mixed veggies and chow mein... I lovedddddd the shrimp and veggies, the chow mein was more like lo mein and tasted dry and old!!!! 3rd visit, ordered double honey walnut shrimp and mixed vegetables... The shrimp were good again, but the veggies were raw and kinda burnt in some spots (like they ran out and tried to fill the line quickly). Sooooo I guess my expectation now when coming here is to expect inconsistency and cross my fingers that the shrimp remain the same!!! Staff has always been friendly though!

Great place to kill an hour and a half! That's because it's going to take you about that long to get your food! Unfortunately they take the fast out of fast food at this location. Regardless of what time of day or how long the line is it will take you a while because they are disorganized. The food is freshly prepared, which is good, except the reason it is so is because they're always out of the dish that you want and have to make it fresh. It takes a minimum of 10 minutes to get your order, assuming you're the only one in line. Unfortunately this is has deterred me for eating there a few times when I really wanted to, because I wanted to get a quick lunch. The food is pretty tasty, and it's not greasy, though the vegetables are drenched in butter. The Beijing beef, the honey shrimp, and the orange chicken are all very good.

Stopped by to grab lunch. The drive thru was quick and the menu is fairly simple. Pick a side item and 2 or 3 entrees then add on an eggroll or a couple other options or a drink for an additional cost. 2 entrees and a side item was $7.25 including tax. I ordered the fried rice with orange chicken and teriyaki chicken. The fried rice was nice and I really enjoyed the orange chicken. The teriyaki chicken was not my cup of tea. The sauce was very sweet and the chicken strips had a weird, chewy texture. I wouldn't get it again. They will put the sauces in a cup on the side for you. If you are going through the drive thru I definitely recommend getting it on the side. I asked for it on the chicken and it was a bit messy by the time I got home.

I didn't know Panda Express existed outside of mall food courts. It's a cool looking building. I've tried at least five different Chinese restaurants in Columbia and they've all sucked. This one kinda sucks too. I've been here twice. The service is really slow and the food is pretty indistinguishable. I've had the shiitake kale chicken, their orange chicken some beef dish and vegetables. The orange chicken and the beef dish could have been switched and I wouldn't have known the difference. The beef could have been chicken or whatever. I couldn't really tell. The shiitake kale chicken wasn't too bad but really watery. The rice tasted good though.

This was my first time ever eating at Panda Express. The building is really nice and the interior is as well. It's mostly set up for groups so we used a table meant for more like 5 people. Which I'm ok with. It's a nice table. Shaday was very nice and gave me a takeaway coupon as a first time visitor. They'll let you sample any of the entrees. Got the Orange chicken with bacon & Shanghai beef. Both were really good. I'm pretty particular about my egg rolls so I decided against that option this time. Their fortune cookies are also not the usual "yellow orange" kind and seem like they're better quality. We will surely be back soon.

Tried the "Bacon Orange Chicken"which wasn't too bad as far as take out Chinese food goes. The servers on the line let me try several items while I was in ordering my food some items like the shrimp and other items cost up to 1.50 per entree. Would I go back here, the jury is still out on that one.

What a great break from traditional fast food!!the spring rolls were delicious! The only disappointment was that they did not have brown rice.

Every time I go I think "Yes Panda!" until I see the lack of ready food. I try and get 1/2 veggies and 1/2 lo mien, and then whatever entrees, but not today. I asked how long it was going to be until the veggies were ready and was told about 7 minutes, they had to make some Orange chicken first. 15 minutes later still not ready and I'm ready to just leave. We decide to just to order. The line crew were super nice and very apologetic. When we got to the register the veggies were done and the manager gave us a free side of it. Which was totally nice of her to do, but the veggies were raw. It was like she just wanted to prove that they had the veggies. I don't understand why there are always empty woks and there is no urgency to get them filled. As a manager you should be able to jump in wherever needed. If you don't want to cook then get the stuff that is needed from the walk-in or ever to help the cook so that they don't need to go far to complete multiple dishes. More stars for more ready dishes!

They have their days on whether foods going to be good or bad. Usual panda expresses ate full of flavor. This one however is bipolar. One day juicy and rich flavors, other days burnt with bland flavors. Need to figure out who is the weak link and either put them as server or fire him/her. Love the look of the place and the decor is beautiful, very modern. Other then that I'm just so happy to see panda express on the east coast finally! !:-D

My favorite fast food Chinese! They can be slammed at times, but they still try to make your experience great. The high volume of customers has the upside of there always being fresh food for your belly!

It took me like 12 hours just to get my drink. I asked for napkins after I got my food and their heads caught on fire. Do actual pandas work there? I feel like a group of pandas got together and bought human costumes and opened up this Panda Express. I mean good for them for beating the system but I just wouldn't call this place 'fast' food. It was good though!

Stopped in for a quick lunch. It was anything but quick! Food was ok but the drive thru took forever!!! The rice was a little bland make sure you ask for soy sauce because they won't give it to you other wise.

I've been to a few Panda Express restaurants throughout the country and this is, by far, the worst I have visited (even though it opened not too long ago). The food is ok, but my wife and I both ordered chicken-based dishes and they came with barely any chicken. They also did not offer (nor have out/available) any side sauces. You can order in, order online, and go through drive thru. We ordered online and picked up our food. In the amount of time between when we arrived and left, the cars in the drive thru had not moved. The inside was packed and though they had eight employees standing (literally just standing) behind the counter, they had one cashier. None of the employees seemed to know what they were doing. My wife and I ordered two dishes: each were the kind with 2 entrees and 1 side. No extras and no drinks. It cost $15. It was a decent amount of food for what you pay for, but there are many other places I'd rather spend my $15 than coming back here.

Terrible management waited 40 minutes in the drive-through still didn't get my food. Called in while sitting in the drive-through to speak to the manager The manager refused to pick up the phone
