Went here on Friday at 11:45. We were seated promptly. The restaurant was not overly busy, however, it took our server 10 minutes to come to our table to take our drink order. We ordered our drinks, appetizer and lunches all at once. He immediately expressed to us that it was getting busy and that it may take some time to get our food. (Only half the tables were occupied and he had a small section of 6 tables). Food was served promptly. I ordered the jalapeño pretzels with cheese dipping sauce. It was tasty, however, I failed to taste any flavor of jalapeños. I had my friend try them, knowing that she can taste any hint of peppers a mile away. She didn't taste any either. I asked for an additional serving of salad dressing. The server seemed to forget it. My friend reminded him, and he snapped at her. He told her in a short-tempered voice that he would get it. We were once again reminded of how busy the restaurant was. The pizza was delicious - and properly cooked. It was the perfect size for lunch. When we requested our checks (we wanted separate checks) our server asked if we wanted the appetizer split between the checks. I told him to just put it on my check. When our checks arrived, he had split the appetizer across our checks. Oh well. The food is good. It seemed like everyone else had excellent service - and our's wasn't poor. However, the server we had needs to pay attention. He also needs to stop telling customers how busy the restaurant is. We can see how busy or slow it is by looking around. I gave it three stars because of our server. He needs to go back and be retrained.

Roaches Galore......Roaches in pizza!!!! Unless you want extra topping that crawled in....Don't come here. Yuckie.. The roach pizza was the)sickest

It's not true Chicago style deep dish pizza, so if you go expecting that experience you'll be disappointed. Otherwise, it's . . . ok.

  • Colleen M.

Just to be upfront...my Chicago Style Deep Dish was not Chicago Style...it was more like the vibe you get when you get deep dish from Pizza Hut but was better. I was disappointed at first but it was pretty good. I guess you shouldn't expect Chicago Style pizza this far south. With that being said, I would go back and it was worth it. I did carry out and it was $15 for a soda, pepperoni pizza (8") and a small tip.

Decided to visit with a friend from out of town. Heard about when they had the soft opening. We went on a Sunday. It was busy for a Sunday but it was very nice out which I think drove more people to be out eating. The place is definitely family friendly and has some outdoor seating. Outdoor seating isn't serviced, so patrons have to go to the bar to order food and drinks. The setup of the place is nice and is great for groups and after meetups. We had an awesome waitress. We had an opportunity to try the tasters, which are sample sizes of their beer. Tried a few and settle on one. I got a Guinness Blonde and my friend got a Snakebite. We ended up getting fried Meatballs stuffed with mozzarella, and fried zucchini as appetizers. We he fried meatballs ARE so good. I highly recommend those. We got the royal margarita pizza. That was tasty. I would definitely like to go back during happy hour to give it a try.

I was really excited to try Old Chicago. Before arriving I pulled up menu and got even more Excited. So as we walk in several servers are all gathered around the hostess area and no one seems to know who is going to seat us. We get seated on the awesome patio and the waitress comes to take our order. We wait for 45 mins for our food. While we wait we see a table get up and leave because their food has taken to long. Later the same table is bused and the bus boy takes the full beers and waters from this table and pours them over the rail on to the grass. ( weird) I guess so he could stack the cups. Good luck getting the grass to grow. Now our food comes and we haven't seen our waitress in 44 mins. Drinks are empty. We go to start eating. I got the Mac and cheese. It was ice cold. The top was warm but bottom was ICE cold. The burger flavor was good but warm not hot. Meanwhile we had to go to bar to get refills. They have food runners. There is no reason the food should be cold when they have runners. They totally missed the mark. As we leave a homeless man is on the porch having an argument with management as to why he needs to leave. This place has TONS of potential and I truly hope they can get it together.

This place hails itself as a pizza place and a craft brew place... It fails at both! The pizza is Pizza Hut pizza, at its best?.. Not that I'm hating on Pizza Hut. Pizza Hut has a decent pizza for a carry out establishment. However, an 8 inch pizza for around 11 buckaroos?? No! The beer selection here is pretty good... However, the servers are not informed of what types of beers they are serving, they were out of several selections, and the service was excruciating slow! 20 mins to get a beer?? Hopefully the service will improve, yet what can one say about the highly competitive pizza Restaurant business? The pizza was not that great, especially for the price. If you want a good beer try flying Saucers and if you want good pizza, Pizza Joint.

A great rendition of another chain restaurant. I've had every beer on the menu, all 118 of them. The food is quite great although good food does take time. I recommend the calzone or a deep dish.

Just had the Chicago 7 calzone. Amazing flavors and super crust. The Italian nachos are great too.

I would have rated this new restaurant with five stars. Unfortunately, although the service was not poor, it was very slow and the server was inattentive. With better training this restaurant has great potential. But if they don't get their act together, the best food in the world will never make up the difference for marginal service.

Just tried to watch a soccer game here, women's World Cup final, with that said it still wasn't very busy at all. I walked in and sat at the bar and figured out what I wanted to drink. The male bartender paced by me at least 10 times over the course of 7-8 mins and never once made eye contact. I finally flagged him down and asked for a water (there were about 8 people at the bar with two bartenders). With a blank stare he got me a water without saying a word then walked away. So I said thank you but I will be leaving. Horrible experience I wouldn't recommend anyone to here. Food may be great but I never had a chance to experience it.

Went here for dinner on a Saturday night with a party of 7. Place was slammed! Wait time was appropriately estimated. You could tell the staff are all new because they're tripping over themselves trying to work. Service was good, food was meh. If you're expecting truly Chicago-style pizza, this isn't it. If you're expecting a pizza lasagna with layers of toppings, this isn't it. It's just really thick crust - not a lot of sauce or cheese or toppings. Gino's East it isn't. I'm going to stick with Mellow Mushroom for my Vista pizza needs.

We have have gone to many Old Chicago in the south east and enjoyed their pizza this is why I'm stunned when we went and found out that they don't serve a Deep Dish pizza. That is like going to a Ferrari dealership and them telling you we only sell 1985 Yugos. Like another reviewer said it is not better than Pizza Hut but will cost you twice as much. I can let it slide that they could not get our order right on two pizzas but you can not use the name of Chicago with out a deep dish pizza!!!! Please change the name to "Same basic pizza you can get anywhere for twice the Price"

Went during lunch. Server was personable and knew menu. This place is NOT for a work lunch break rather leisure lunch. Took a looooooong time for burgers and pizza. The food was just okay. Not bad nor great. May return but not Monday-Friday. Good price point for lunch options all under $10.

Wanted to try Old Chicago out again. Hoping for better service however not so great. Pizza was good but over priced. Took well over 5 minutes to come over and get my drink order. I didn't get a refill on my water and the waitress only checked on my once while walking by not even really wanting to be bothered. I had to get another waiter to notify mine I needed my check. The manager and waiters were more into crowding in the corner eating food than help actually customers. This place has sucky service to be this new. Smh.

Went back for the fourth time last week. My wife and I both decided we had to venture out and try something new from the menu, rather than just sticking with the fabulous pizza. So she ordered the spaghetti pie with vodka cream sauce and I ordered a mushroom swiss burger. We split the chopped salad without any chicken. My mushroom swiss burger was good. She liked it much better than I did. I kept trying to compare it to Smashburger's truffle mushroom swiss burger, which is the ultimate. I generally will not order spaghetti at a restaurant, and I've never had spaghetti pie, so when it came out it looked just like a piece of spaghetti pie with sauce around it. I took one bite and declared this a winner. It looked a little dry (I'm a sauce guy), but the vodka cream sauce was excellent. My wife asked for a little more cream sauce and the waitress brought her out another small cup of it. I liked it so much I said that I'd probably order that over a thick pizza next time. Hard to believe I said that, but it was that good. She ate half of it and reheated it the next day for lunch. It was almost better the next day. If you do take some home in a doggy bag I recommend asking for an additional cup of the vodka cream sauce to top it with. Excellent. This continues to be our new favorite spot. Only problem is you almost always have a 20-50 minute wait...at least we have 3 out of the 4 times we've gone. They have long tables right in front of the bar but these are supposedly reserved for people eating. These tables aren't like the standard tables or booths and you are shoulder to shoulder with other patrons. This is the one area that I feel should be improved upon. BTW: The chopped salad is excellent. The dressing is sweet and very tasty. We are used to Maggiano's chopped salad at South Park, Charlotte and also in Chicago. We usually order a small chopped salad without chicken and split this. Highly recommend it!

Horrible service. Took forever to get our food even though it wasnt a busy night. Had to wait 25 minutes to even get anyone to greet us. Didnt have our first 2 choices of beer on tap. Terrible experience

I love the lunch menu at this place. I usually have Tuscan chicken spinach Chicago style pizza with Caesar salad. But it's frustrating as they take too long to bring the food.

Just finished lunch. I had the Meat Me calzone and my wife had the Chicago 7 pizza. Both were great dishes. There are a lot of other dishes on the menu I want to come back and try. The only complaint I might have was service was a little slow. Never received a drink refill and had to wait on the check but would definitely come again.

I'm going to start this review off by pointing out the obvious. There are a LOT of restaurants in the vista that see many customers every day, on top of that, there's a lot of pizza places too. So why on earth would someone possibly choose Old Chicago to dine in (or take out if they plan on that upon opening). Well, let me walk you through why First impressions are very very important, and this place, well, besides its stunning interior decor and location, the very first thing I hear when walking through the first set of doors here is "we are VERY welcomed to have you here tonight (then verifying we are who we appear to be)"and a bright smile to carry us on to the next doors. The beaming smile of the hostess is what we saw next, then walking through the loud dining, we end up at a table to the right of the place against the beautiful brick wall and nice wooden window frame which accented it perfectly. The tables are nice and clean and the person who took our drinks was very nice. Presentation: a very bright young waitress approached the table and it was completely obvious she knew exactly how to run the game. Her section had 9 or so tables and she did it with ease. Upon drink selection, she had great options for what meal my friend and I planned on choosing and boy did she know her beers! Huge huge selection and very impressive. The beverage glasses, while not glass, were not the cheap ones and had good weight to them and didn't make me feel girlish while gripping it to sip. Food time! The appetizer we decided on was the nachos grande, and they sure did live up to name. Even when sharing with my friend, there was a quite large portion for both of us, and the toppings were great! Not overdone like other nachos that you just stare at confused on how to even approach your first chip selection. No tumbling of toppings or any issues. Very clean and fresh tasting toppings ( holy amazing jalapenos Batman!) And overall great salsa and sour cream (which came on the side). What pursued after was my conscious analyzing how I would consume my entrée as I was already getting full. Needless to say, I pushed through Well, it was a choice of the meat me calzone for me and the BBQ chicken 7" Chicago for my friend. We shared portions and my taste buds thought they found a permanent residence. Holy cow was all the food good! Everything about it screamed premium!! The pizza was the best pizza ive had second only to Pizza Regina up near Boston but these are two different ball fields so to speak. Hands down favorite calzone by far though. Super delicious and the bread was perfect. That doesn't happen ever ( at least for me). It's super exciting when a gem like this opens up because you know they're destined for nothing but the best. From the tea that's never an empty cup to the amazing looking dessert that I'll be coming back for on Monday (Forreal though, a deep dish 6" chocolate chip cookie with option of ice cream on top. Can I get a hell yes?!?!) And from the very well informed staff from when we walked in to leaving and getting told have a great night with a huge smile, this place is going to be a winner in my heart for a verrrrry long time. They've got the perfect formula for success and shouldn't need to change anything. By far the most impressive soft opening and they well deserve the perfect 5 star ratings from everyone thus far. I may add more later if I remember any more details ;)

This is our go to place for food and drink , especially if a game is on. The service has always been spot on. We've tried numerous items on the menu and they have always been awesome and very well done. I enjoy picking random beers from their large assortment to sample. Great kid-friendly option as well.

My boyfriend and I came here a few months ago. I guess they had opened fairly recently, so I get why it could be a little disorganized. We both work in service industry, so we can be pretty understanding about these things. They had a fairly long line ahead of us, but we were willing to wait the 20 or so minutes to be seated. That's fine. We finally got a table and took a look at the menu. I saw the caprese salad and that sounded like exactly what I was craving. We decided on food. We waited some more. We were pretty hungry. And thirsty. Still waiting. About ten minutes after being sat, a very disheveled server came over and said, "I'm not your server, but I can get your drink orders." Ok. "Two waters, please." We waited some more. Another ten minutes passed. We couldn't wait any longer. We went to Longhorn instead. I'm sure the food is just lovely, but we were hangry and needed sustenance. I can't convince my boyfriend to give them another shot. I made my own caprese salad at home. It was glorious.

Ok more of a bar that serves pizza instead of a pizzeria with beer. Has that typical sports bar feel with all the beers and TV's with sports on them. Very loud, very good service except when the cheese fries were delivered, we were asked if we wanted a side of ranch and said yes please but it never came. Pizza was ok for what it is but can get pricey when you start adding toppings. Apps were very good (cheese fries, pepperoni rolls) although the cheese sticks were typical and bland. Large selection of beers. Overall I would go back if just for appetizers and beer or to try other menu items.

Had a large group for lunch. Wait staff was visibly annoyed to serve us. There is a lunch menu that says $7.99 on the top. Below is a list of salads with no prices. I had a chicken salad that consisted of romaine lettuce, a very small amount of cheese, a couple diced tomatoes, and 2 cut up fried chicken strips. They forgot my dressing, which never came, and charged me 10.99 for the salad. Worst money ever spent.

Their service is pretty good at the bar and their Thai pizza is amazing! Get there early if you don't want to wait (or after peak dining hours)

I have eaten at Old Chicago back in the day when I was more into carbs. But it's been a while, and I wasn't really feeling being dragged back down into carbaholism. Not to worry! Their menu has tons of choices aside from deep dish pizza (although of course my first time back that's what I had!). As suspected, the deep dish is tasty but soooo heavy - felt like there was a brick in my stomach the next 24 hours. Now don't get me wrong - it was prepared well, tasted great etc. but I am just not able to handle that much of a carbo load at one time anymore. Lesson learned. I will definitely be back to try some of their other dishes. Love the space, lots of TVs for the hubs to watch, and plenty of parking in a fun location (Vista).

We went here for a good friends birthday get together. The wait was a little long but we had a terrific time. A little pricey, and parking was a challenge but I would go there again.

Service was great, and our server provided great suggestions on beers. The pizza was very good. I am NOT a Chicago Pizza expert. Although very good, the crust was not as flaky as I was expecting. Nevertheless, this is a good stop!

Overhyped and overpriced for the low quality pizza. $12 for a personal size that's literally the size of a store bought Lean Cuisine. It won't last a long time. Dominos is better quality and price...seriously!

their pizza is just awesome and their sampler plate was awesome as well. Just love this place and I want to go back and eat out on the patio . their Arnold palmer drink is outstanding . The prices are a lil high but that is to be expected with them being downtown in the restaurant mecca . But it was outstanding none the less and the service is also awesome .

Went there again for my birthday this past Saturday and although I enjoyed the food, I was disappointed with the management's decision to not allow patrons to eat outside on the deck after a certain hour (we arrived at 7pm), only drink. Furthermore, there seemed to be miscommunication with the waitstaff and management, as one table was allowed to eat outside while others were not. What is the point of having outdoor seating at a restaurant if you can't even eat, especially on a Saturday? Not a good move.

I really liked this place. Service was very good. Food was delicious. I"ll be back. Next time I'll get the medium size pizza. but trying the appetizers was a treat. the dessert was delicious . The waitress was very nice . She engage in conversation with us, and was very helpful with the menu choices.

I've heard the food here is good, so wanted to try it out. We ordered their 3 appetizers Spicy Fried Pickles, Flavored Fries, and Cheese Garlic Bread. Additionally, we ordered two Caesar Salad's, the Create your Own Macaroni and the thin crust pizza. The horrible part is we waited almost 45 minutes, so I asked the waiter how much longer for our salads. This was a Sunday about 3:30pm, so the workers outnumbered the number of customers. About a minute after I asked about the salads, someone else brought our entrees to the table. Still no salad and no appetizers. I asked to speak to the manager, Ms. Kim, and she said she would comp the salads and appetizers, which had just come out. The Caesar Salads were not fresh, actually had ICE in the bottom of the plates. The Flavored Fries had very little seasoning at all on them and had clearly been cooked multiple times over. The spicy pickles were good, as was the Cheese Garlic Bread. The macaroni and the pizza were very good. I know every place has its bad days, and since the manager comped the salads and appetizers, I will give this place another try in the future.

I had high hopes for this place, good location, good atmosphere and our waitress was really nice but I was disappointed. The food was pretty forgettable. We got fried zucchini for an appetizer, which came highly recommended from our waitress, and they were okay but not incredible like she said. I got the Chicago 7 pizza and my wife got the Margherita pizza. Again, just okay, honestly tasted kind of like Pizza Hut and the quality was similar, nothing special. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it was busy but not crazy. We got seated right away. Our waitress came over and seemed like she was going to be helpful but things went downhill from there. It took at least 10min to get our drinks out to us and then they were the wrong drinks. The appetizers took at least another 15min and then the food was much later. We did not see our waitress often and when she came by she would say, I am going to get you a refill on your drink, and then we wouldn't see her for 10 min and she would come back without drinks and say, I am going to get you that refill. I only got one refill in an hour or so that we were there. Overall, food that was not great and service that was worse.

The food is great here and we have eaten at this location on many occasions. My only complaint is the service. Each time we have been there the waitstaff as been slow to bring refills and take orders. If the food wasn't so good I probably wouldn't go back.

  • Gregory G.

Not my favorite meal in the vista. We were quoted a 30 minute wait for a table that had been open the entire time we'd be there. Normally this wouldn't bother me if the staff hadn't all been gathered around their servers station or if the manager would have done anything other than hover around the hostess stand. A few servers seemed to be really trying but other than that its as a pretty lack luster staff. Our actual waitress was good once we were seated, a bit odd but nice and friendly. The food was meh. Nothing to write home about. Overall I was not impressed. I might revisit it at a later day to see if they've worked their kinks out and improve my review.

Worse service ever! Sat at the table for over 20 minutes before someone even walked up, which wasn't even our waitress. Took another 10 minutes to get our drink. When our waitress finally came to the table, she asked what we would like. Before we could even answer she walked away. She came back 10 minutes later to finally take our order saying that she didn't even know it was her table.

My mother and I dined here tonight and we had the worst customer service ever! Jasmine, our server, was clueless and inattentive. I had to ask her three times for my side salad I ordered and did not receive it until after I had finished my entree. She kept mentioning the rewards card, and we said we wanted one, but never got one. We asked for the check and a to go box and to go beverages. She acted shocked that we would want drinks to go. She brought the check and she charged us $3.95 for my salad that should have been $2.95 with my entree. I told the manager and he took it off. My mom put her credit card in the check book and Jasmine took it away. She brought us back another check book without the card in it and just threw it on the table. I went and confronted her at the waitress' station and she said she didn't know where the card was. She had the card in her apron pocket in another check book. She said she had not charged us yet and proceeded to charge us. I told the manager what was going on and he said, "Well that's what you get when you hire people like that. She won't be back after tonight." He offered us a free appetizer for next time, but I don't think that we will be back. I have contacted corporate about the situation. We will see what happens. Very disappointed. We had high hopes for this restaurant. The food was okay, we had the Chicken Panini, and the Oh My Spaghetti Pie. They were overpriced for the portion especially with the service we received. Ruined our night out. Wish we could have had the good service others have mentioned but I guess we were not that lucky. Hopefully Jasmine will not be back as the manager said, so no one else has to endure her awful service.

I know it just opened but took 40 min for fried apps. All pre packaged except fried snap peas which were horrible and batter fell off but still served. Would have appreciated if waitress that had no personality or smiled at all would have came by to let us know on the wait. Instead she blames kitchen and a large table when she dropped food on table. When apps came out pizza came right behind. Pizza seemed to be pre made crust too. Tasted like pizza hut. Won't go back. My stomach already hurting from all pre packaged food. Rest of service staff seemed happy and rest of people were getting food. Maybe just off experience wither way I can't deal with pre packaged breaded meatballs. Hope this shuts down to open more places like motor supply bistro or tsunami type

Old Chicago Pizza has the best pizza I have ever eaten by far. We went on a Saturday Night and the place was packed. We where told when we arrived that there was a 30 to 45 minute wait and it was well worth the wait. We had the Chicago 7 Pizza and it was amazing, all the ingredients where fresh and you could tell. It was so good that we went back Sunday and bought another pizza to bring home.

Food is average; however, both food and service has declined rapidly. Two colleagues and I ate here for lunch on the opening day and everything was superb! Staff was over attentive, prompt, and the food was delicious and hot. 1 week later we went out with the office team, based on my recommendations. It was 4:30pm on a Friday and crowded. The servers were friendly, but seemed to have trouble keeping up and attending a party of 9. Some orders were either wrong or simply did not arrive without a reminder. Two servers assisted; one for food and one for drinks. The errors were v overlooked due to being crowded, Friday, and we were a party of 9. My 3rd visit today (with my husband) was poor. The server was inattentive and easily distracted. The restaurant was nearly empty, more staff then customers. Ironically a training session was being held next to us wit a class of approximately 15 new hires. Shocking that we were receiving poor service as the trainer briefed on how to satisfy customers. Lol. Our server should have attended, as well as a few other servers hanging around seemingly to past time. We had to request the lunch garlic rolls, which were stale with a horrible after taste. I asked for plasticware because the silverware was dirty. I had to get it myself after waiting more than 5 minutes. Period the only time the server showed interest is when we asked for the check. The pepperoni rolls and meatballs were great. The Chicago chopped salad was not tasty. Unfortunately, after noticing a consistent decline, I have no intentions of returning. I thought I found a new hot spot, but I guess not. Our least expensive ticket was greater than $40, so I expect more at those prices. Try for yourself, maybe you will have better luck. Some items are tasty.

I was excited when I saw a new restaurant opening in Columbia called Old Chicago Pizza. I thought finally a place that might serve a true Chicago Style deep dish pizza! In the end I was bitterly disappointed. The "deep dish pizza" more resembled Pizza Hut thick crust than true Chicago Deep Dish (Ginos / Giordanos / Pequod's). When I think of deep dish I think of three things: 1) a solid ~1/2" thick crust 2) A mountain of toppings deeper than the crust 3) then the cheese covered in a fresh chunky tomato sauce. What you get at Old Chicago is a inch thick crust covered in a tomato paste based sauce with a delivery style pizza amount of cheese and toppings. All in all it is nothing special and honestly not worth the premium price! Its obvious that the Old Chicago name is more of a marketing ploy than anything else. Much like the non Chicago versions of Unos. To give Unos credit compared to Old Chicago, their pizza is much closer to true Chicago deep dish pizza.

First of all I was Overwhelmed by the all the Menu choices, which was a good thing, lots to choose from when I come back! Wow and Wow, the food atmosphere was the best ever for a Pizza joint!!! The pizza flavor was much to be desired. Presentation of the food was Excellent. A host of items on the menu, offering something for the whole family. The shop is both clean and tidy, having plenty seating. The hostess/ waitress was attentive at all times. Staff members there greeted us in/ out when we left. The food was more than filling, loved all the dishes thus far. I know I'll certainly be returning soon and would recommend this facility. My husband and I loved this place!!!

Tried Old Chicago out with a group of friends who are all picky eaters. Everyone found something they loved and enjoyed their meals! Super friendly waiter, wish he would have checked in on us more, but they were pretty busy that night. Only downside was that two of us were given the wrong beers from the bar. Figured it out after drinking them half way but the waiter still brought us the correct ones on the house. Great meal and a great atmosphere.

I have been sitting here for 15 plus min waiting to order with no help. Was seated right away then watched as everyone around us was helped and received no service. This is our 3rd attempt at this place with service getting worse each time.

Scenario - in town for the State bar exam, staying next door at the Hampton Inn. First visit, Sunday. Had about 45 minute wait for 2, eventually ended up getting a seat at the bar, Andy was our bartender. Beer: the selection is pretty good, however, we were there for the food, craft beer is not really a big selling point for us. We did order a beer that was blue moon and an apple ale mixed, finance really liked it. Food: We split the Classic pizza deep dish. The meat had great flavor, they do more than just throw frozen meat on it. The pepperoni had a smoked flavor to it and the sausage had great flavors. The chunks of garlic were strong but a great addition so if you don't like garlic make sure you have them leave that off (but if you don't love garlic there is a bigger issue). The crust was amazing... unlike deep dish pizzas from other chains (Note: never been to Chicago to have the real deal so I don't know how it compares, just giving you the nation wide perception that is provided via the large chain restaurants). It was lightly buttered and had a crisp outside (not crunchy, didn't cut up the roof of my mouth for example). The crust was very light for deep dish pizza, don't get me wrong there was a lot of crust but it just wasn't that heavy breading type (finance doesn't care for that type of pizza normally but said she enjoyed it for what it was, she still would have preferred the thin crust). At an UNO, I can typically only eat one slice before I am stuffed because of the heavy crust, not the issue here. We split the small pizza and left comfortably full but not with that heavy, I-just-ate-a-ton-of-bread feeling. There was a couple next to us who both ordered their own small pizzas, they left having eaten only 3 slices combined so two "typical" people can split a small and be full. One of the pizzas that was ordered next to us was the deep dish Royale Margherita pizza and it looked fantastic but didn't get an opportunity to inquire. Service: still a new restaurant and things were very chaotic (ex. they had to search for ginger ale at one point, leaving only one bartender to fend off the masses). But, anyone who has worked in the restaurant industry will tell you thats just part of opening and training new staff. The hostesses were very friendly, but you could tell they were struggling with the chaos. There were some empty tables that remained empty for some time while there was still a long wait, not sure if there was a miscommunication or they were short a server (I was surprised they were so packed on a Sunday night). Our bartender/server was Andy, and let me tell you, it is always refreshing to encounter people like Andy, especially in the service industry. We will say Andy is a "seasoned" bartender, real pro. They take your name to keep up with tabs, but Andy remembered everyones name sitting at the bar that he served, which was extremely impressive. It is always a downer then you go out to eat and get terrible service, which is more and more common, people just don't care or are just rude, which makes it brutally painful to tip well when thats the case, even if the food is great, the service can really ruin the experience. Not the case here, the manager of OC should really be congratulated for his team's attitudes (especially with a new restaurant). The service alone was worth coming back. We don't have an Old Chicago back home and there was so many good looking items on the menu that we ordered carry out the following night... Night 2 Food: We ordered the Spaghetti Pie (yep, you read that correctly) with vodka sauce and a meatball. The vodka sauce was very good, and the Spaghetti Pie was interesting and very good (the other sauces sounded more appealing to me but finance is a die hard vodka sauce fan). It is definitely a unique dish and if you enjoy cheese/Alfredo you will enjoy this, it had very good flavors. The meatball was not your typical meatball and it is hard to describe its texture, it was lighter than your traditional meatball and seemed to be grilled on the outside or sometime that gave it a slight crisp, the end result being something we both really enjoyed (finance isn't a meatball fan usually so I was surprised she enjoyed it). I asked her if she would order it again (the true test of whether something was better than just good), she said definitely. So there you have it, hope this helps! I think the low star ratings on here are pretty silly, I doubt someone from Chicago is going to come down and rave about it, I suggest if you are looking for the real thing, perhaps going to Chicago is the best thing for you!

We went with staff to the soft opening. The food was great, servers are still learning. I'm excited to go back and try their full menu. The managers were great they came around and checked on us often. They even sent some complimentary pizzas over for my staff because we work right across the street.

I went here last Friday for lunch. Their lunch special was too good to pass up - $7.95 for salad, garlic bread and an 8" personal pizza with two toppings. We had a 15 minute wait for three people, which wasn't bad since it was packed. The atmosphere was great! Neat space and bar. Our waitress was a bit fumbly, but it was only her second day on the job. The pizza was delicious and large enough to bring home a slice for later. I also had a bloody Mary. It was spicy and yummy. Overall - I'll definitely be back for lunch or to try out other items on the menu!

My son and I had the 'Meat Me" thick crust pizza. It was good, but I'd say it wasn't what I'd call Chicago style. Frankly, I thought it tasted very much like a Pizza Hut pan pizza. I'll be back. There are a lot more great looking items on the menu to try out,

While I was in Colorado last fall, I ate at an Old Chicago there and loved it! I am so glad that they open one here, this is just what columbia needed. The food and service is great. They have a large variety of food and drinks to choose from. The staff is very friendly but their knowledge could use a little work, but all things considered since it just opened, it can slide but does need work. I have been here several times and have no complaints, can't wait to go back!

Currently waiting to sit down amongst other patrons with plenty of empty tables. Apparently they don't have enough staff to serve the tables. Good for them to have the business and bad for everyone else to have to wait due to lack of staff.

We arrived at 5:00 on a Friday night and were promptly seated. We ordered an appetizer and drinks when the waitress first came over, and after she brought our drinks we ordered our meal. Our appetizer came out about 30 seconds before our meal which is a big pet peeve of mine. The point of an appetizer is to eat it before the meal, not during. It took about 25 minutes for the app and meal to arrive after ordering. Otherwise, the jalapeño pretzel bites were great and hot, the pizza was good and hot, my chicken pesto panini was great and hot, my fries were hard and Luke warm verging on cold. They had clearly been done a long time (hard) and only Luke warm from sitting under a heat lamp. Since everything else was piping hot, it's obvious the fries had been sitting around. I understand fries may not be ordered often at a place like this, but if the batch you have is old and cold, make a fresh batch! We will return, but I may reconsider ordering an entree that comes with fries. Dipping them in the beer cheese leftover from the pretzels made them palatable. There are a lot of bad reviews on service so I was concerned about that, but we have no complaints on service. Our waitress was friendly and came to check how our food was and to refill water. We are glad to have a new venue to try with a uniquely flavored pizza. Hopefully kinks will be worked out so they will last.

On May 15th we ate here for lunch and it as a pretty good deal. $8 for all you can eat salad and pizza or calzone. I can't speak for the calzone, but the pizza is delicious and very filling. The Chicago style crust is the way to go. Cooked perfectly. It as crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The salad is pretty basic but for all you can eat you can't expect too much. The atmosphere is fun. TV's everywhere for the sports fan. They do have a rather extensive menu, but I can not attest to that as I have only been here for lunch. I look forward to trying more selections. The only reason for the 4 stars over 5 is that the two times I have eaten here the service has lacked a little. Drinks go without refills and the wait times on ready made salads can be a little long.

The service was iffy at best, the bartender was slower than slow, the server didn't know a Guinness from a Bud light, the pizza could have been delivered by Pizza Hut. They were out of more drafts than they had in stock. The thick crust was greasy and the Classic pizza toppings had no flavor. We also ordered a thin crust Mediterranean that was just as greasy and flavorless. Thank you but I will stick with Pizza Joint on Forest Drive.

Had the pleasure of eating an awesome pie from this establishment. It was hearty and very tasteful. Not so impressed with the pepperoni bites though and the $8 and some change for that was a little disheartening. As for the staff for a take out...CRAPPY! If you dont have boobs, sit at a table or are drinking at the bar, your going to have to beg for service. I stood there at the not so busy bar waiting on the two male bartenders to wait on one woman, only to be passed up when another came up to give her order. I then asked a waitress if I could make a to go order only to be told that she couldn't take the order unless she could put in a table number. She then went to the same male bartenders and told them that I had a to go order. I was then acknowledged by one male bartender only to be told to wait so he could speak to the other about taking the order. Finally after being here for 22 minutes my order was taken. As I waited, a female bartender did act nice and checked on me...providing me with a water while I waited. About 20 minutes later, I paid my tab and was on my way.

Being from New Jersey, I really didn't have any hope for this being even decent pizza. Boy, was I wrong. If you're looking New Jersey, or even Chicago, style pizza, you won't find it here. However the pizza they put in front of you is sure to compete. It's tasty and filling, and the beer selection is pretty decent. TV's surround the place so you'll always have something to watch in the world of sports. All in all, very good place. My lady and I will surely be back.

I grew up in Northern Illinois outside of Chicago. This is as close as I can find to real Chicago style deep dish pizza. The food was very good, the prices were decent, and the service was great. Many different beers on tap. They also have many TVs hanging with every kind of sports games on that you can think of. Nice place to hang out with friends after a long day or just chill on the weekends will definitely go again. Plus a 15 percent military discount which me and the fellas at Fort Jackson really appreciate!

While the food is tasty (those buffalo chicken rolls are bangin') and the beer selection is decent, the service here is just terrible so far. Each time I've been for lunch, it takes about 30 minutes to get the food once it's been ordered (45 minutes to get a salad on a Monday!), and servers are slow to return to the table to follow up. I've been chalking this up to a new restaurant, a new staff, and everyone working out the inevitable kinks. Fine, no problem... But when I tried to visit this past Saturday with three other people (at 4:30pm no less, far too late for the lunch crowd and too early for a dinner rush), there was a 20-25min seating wait for reasons beyond my comprehension. There were at least 7 empty (and clean) tables visible just looking around while standing near the front door. Twice I inquired with the hostess as to what was going on (while gesturing at the blatantly open tables) and both times she told me that she was "about to page the next people on the list." After about another 10 minutes had passed and still no one had been seated, I went to speak to her again and was told that people weren't answering their pagers. I'm not sure what Old Chicago's protocol for this is, but common sense would suggest that if you've tried to alert someone to their available table and they aren't appearing, perhaps move on to the next party. Due to the hostess' complete lack of interest in customer satisfaction and obvious inability to solve simple problems, my group and I left and went elsewhere. If the seating queue was that complicated, perhaps a front-of-house manager should have been present to assist. The seating issue seems to be a reoccurring theme at this place, and the annoyance is amplified by the fact that there is simply no good place to stand and wait. There's no extra room around the hostess stand and seating at the bar is limited, so anyone who has to wait for a table is standing in the way of passing servers and other guests. I hope they work out their service issues as I do think the restaurant is a pleasant addition to the Vista, but if they struggle to seat customers when the place isn't even busy, I can't fathom going there during conventional dinner hours.

I went to the restaurant for lunch, I was immediately greeted and asked for seat preference. Me and my accompanying friend were seated at a booth, the restaurant has a rustic charm to it which is interesting to me. The waiter brought us some menus and asked us our drink choices. The menu to me was very confusing for one they gave almost three different menus which included a lunch menu and a drink menu when there was already a drink menu on the table. The main menu was very difficult to follow for example it says build your own calzone but it doesnt show anywhere the fillings you could get, or the Fish and chips is inconspicuously hidden near the spaghetti pie. However once we figured what we want we ordered the Sicilian pepperoni rolls which is their signature dish. However I felt that the rolls lacked meat with very little to no Pepperoni and the dough itself was very chewy. We ordered the chicken pesto panini which were delicious. Overall it was not a bad experience and the staff was excellent, I definitely think I would go back to try the pizza hopefully my experience would be better next time.

I went here with a group of 8 co-workers for lunch. We all left with Chicago on our "Never Again" list. So to be clear this is a pizza place and pub - and none of us had pizza or beer - so I cannot comment there. That said, the quality of the food was bad. Obviously they do not use a different quality of ingredients for pizza then they do for everything else on the menu. Half of us had salads with chicken strips. So think of those really cheap store brand frozen chicken strips you can buy - you know, the ones that no matter how you cook them they taste like rubbery slimey mystery strips. Those chicken strips are just slightly better quality than what was put on the salads. All around everyone agreed that the quality of the meats, the cheese, down to the lettuce used were all bottom of the barrel. If you are going to hang out, throw back a few beers and grab some bar quality grub at 10PM, this might be the place. If you are going to actually get a meal - look elsewhere. Thank me latter.

I love this building. Such a landmark in the City. We went here on a Sunday night, and it wasn't too crowded. We got a parking place right across from the door. There's lots of things to choose from on the menu. The pizzas all looked good. We decided to get the Grilled Chicken Panini. I got the grilled Veges with mine. My husband got the Jamaican Jerk seasoned fries. The paninis were good. And of course the fresh Veges were good. I also took some of my husband's fries. They were good also. Our waitress was good and very attentive. Actually we left with no complaints. We will be coming back. I'd like to try one of the pizzas. The reviews were good on them.

The pizza was okay, but nothing stellar. Several of the other guests had the calzones. The calzones looked very good and the guests seemed to enjoy them. Be prepared for a long dinner. The service was extremely slow. I called the night before and informed the manager, there would be a large group of 25-30 arriving at 6 pm. We arrived at 6 pmand were seated in a couple of available tables. We had one waitress the entire time. This was unusual, since three of the other waiters stood at the front station behind us the entire time waiting on other tables in their section to fill up. Made no sense why they wouldn't help out our waitress, which was obviously overwhelmed. There was also one bartender, which made the drink orders take any longer. I can understand it was a Monday night, thus the reason I called the night before! Food was deent, service was slow. Positive was a great beer selection.

I went to the soft opening on Saturday and then went back again for dinner a couple nights later! There are so many delicious treats on the menu it is hard to stay away. At the soft opening I tried 3 different pizzas, an app, a salad and a dessert before I had to be rolled out of that place. My favorite was the Double Deckeroni Pizza - pepperoni as far as the eye can see, hot sauce and parsley. Noms! I also tried the Chicago 7 pizza which was great if you like a little more variety in your pizza toppings (which are fresh and huge). The fried zucchini were great but the sauce that comes with it really made it something special. I thought the mozzarella sticks were also good - crunchy on the outside with gooey cheese in the center. The marinara had a great balance... not too sweet. The wings were well cooked and the mozzarella stuffed meatballs were moist and delicious. We also ordered drinks and I have to say the Long Island Iced Tea and the Lemon Drop were both delicious. Both packed a punch but they tasted like something like your southern granny would serve you on her wrap around porch. Those kind of drinks will get you in trouble! So far everything I've had has been excellent. Can't wait to stop by for my third visit! When the weather warms up that patio area is going to be perfect! And they are also serving 1 topping personal sized pizza for $2 after 10pm. #winning

After coming here several times since they've opened the food has remained excellent. Still one of my favorite places for pizza. But the service has gone down hill quickly. Every time we go it gets worse. This past weekend was horrible. We felt ignored by our server and it took forever to get out checks and pay. And they were not even that busy.

The soft opening was excellent! It started well before I even got in the door--I was able to find parking in the vista. Someone greeted us before we even got to the hostess station. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. We went to the bar to wait for a table and got ourselves the sangria margarita and the prohibition lemonade which were perfectly tart and sweet without being overwhelming. The bar is well lit with comfortable seats and overlooks a nice patio. This is where I mention it's in the historic Adluh Flour building and is gorgeously appointed with big windows and exposed brick. The high ceilings carry sound and it was a little loud because they were packed--even still, we could comfortably hear each other and converse. Soon we were seated and got our drink and appetizer orders in--we chose the buffalo chicken rolls, which had blue cheese and celery and looked like an egg roll inside pizza dough. Honestly, I would have been fine with just that for dinner. For entrées, we got fish and chips, a med Chicago pizza, and spaghetti pie with the vodka sauce. We all shared everything because I have to tell you how good it was: I got fish and chips out of curiosity. I wouldn't have expected that on the menu. Fries are decent and the coleslaw good--not too sweet, not too vinegary. The fried cod, though, was on point. Not greasy at all, perfectly crisp, and flaky white flesh. The tartar sauce was banging, too. It was obviously not from a grocery store aisle. I could drink it. Also had a little vinegar tang and complemented the fish in a heavenly manner. Spaghetti pie wasn't like anything I've had before. It was spaghetti somehow baked into a slice and covered with sauce with two giant meatballs. It was fluffy but noodley and saucy but not too saucy (just like me). Now what you're waiting to hear about: dat pizza tho. Deep dish FTW. The crust was bready and yet still had a bit of crunchy and was tender and l loved it. Dare I say perfect? Yes. It had big pieces of sausage and pepper and red onion and it was cooked just right. I love green peppers and I liked I could see it but it was cooked down enough to be floppy without getting to mush stage. It felt "Al dente," which is a weird way to talk about peppers but I just did. So there. I'm not done. Then we finished with cheesecake. I thought I only had room for a bite but we devoured that, too, because it was amazing. With strawberries and blueberries but none of that fake gel crap. This was dense and still managed to be just light enough to have the spongy feel a cheesecake should have. The baked crust was good, too, and I usually leave that as a sad reject on my plate. Go eat there. I'm bringing a posse soon. They open on Monday 2/2/15 and you should be there in line and ready to eat like royalty with super super nice folks who want you happy and well-fed.

Was a little hesitant to come after hearing service was on the slow side but had no problems! We were seated right away even though it was crowded and drinks came out quickly. We tried the kickn Canadian flatbread pizza which has a jalapeño popper type topping that blew me away! Not too spicy but great flavor and very creamy with generous amounts of mouthwatering Canadian bacon. I'm not typically a huge fan of thin crust pizza but this flatbread actually is fairly substantial, more comparable to a pizza hut personal pan type texture. I'll definitely come back here!

We were invited to a special VIP soft-opening of this soon-to-be Columbia staple. I was very impressed. Though there were "trainers" everywhere, the newbie wait staff left nothing to be desired. Very attentive service. But let's talk about the real reason you're reading this review. The food. It was FANTASTIC. I ordered a medium Chicago-style Hawaiian pizza and as you can see from my photos, it was tastyyyy. My boyfriend George F. ordered a large thin-crust pizza and it was ginormous. (Is that how you spell "ginormous"?) The star of the show, however, was the chocolate chip cookie dessert. It's listed as only 6" but they must be using a broken ruler. This thing was at least 8" and was melt-in-your-mouth good. They cook it in the pan, so it's both crispy on the edges and soft in the middle. Very reasonable at $4.95. Definitely order it with vanilla ice cream on top. I can easily see Old Chicago being the new place to hang in the Vista - especially to watch football games or grab a business lunch. It's a wonderful addition to the area and we will certainly be back. Welcome to Soda City, Old Chicago!

We went on Sunday around Noon. Hardly any patrons but yet it took almost one hour to get our food. Other tables started filling up and all got served before us. Our waiter did a good job, but the management was horrible. My mother-in-law's salad came out wrong the first time. The second try the shrimp were completely frozen. The pizza was average and very greasy. I wouldn't recommend going here if you want fast, friendly service or good food. I was very disappointed as I was the one that suggested we try it. We will not be back.

In order to accurately rate this place I need to rate the food separate from the service. Food: The food was great. Always is great when I come. It's always fresh n the flavor is always on point. The pizza was really good. I tried the Tavern thin and the Chicago thick. Both really good. The cheesy garlic bread and the bacon cheese fries are really good also. I will say on this last trip though I ordered a grilled chicken Caesar salad n they brought out the salad n the middle of my chicken breast was raw (Yuck!) Service: Where do I start with this service? Getting seated is done quickly. But after that the service goes downhill. They're very inattentive to the patrons. They are slower than slow. They lack urgency in their service. They rather talk amongst themselves in the kitchen than serve the customers in MY opinion. I literally sat and finished my drink but didn't get a refill but by the time she decided to give me one the ice melted so much it looked like I already had a refill of a really weak sweet tea. And my cousin NEVER received a refill on her drink so my 6 year old daughter let my cousin have her drink. They seem to be really understaffed or their staff just lack initiative or something. They have some staffing issues to work on. Overall I gave them 4 stars because 1. Yelp wont let me do half stars cuz i woild give them 3.5 and 2. The food made up for most of the bad service.

We won't be back. The well meaning and polite bartender (Jamie) seemed to do the best that she could, but there was a need for 2 to handle the 9 people at the bar. Had to ask for refills because she had a lot of other responsibilities that distracted from this basic task. The kitchen was a disaster. It took 30 minutes for 2 EASY appetizers: fries and pretzels. Although the place was not empty on a Sunday afternoon, it was far from packed. When the pizza arrived, it was catastrophic. Just the worst. Remember that awful pizza from your middle school cafeteria? This place made it look like Wolfgang Puck. The pizza was WAAAAAYYYY overpriced, and just terrible tasting. We wanted to try a new place, but WOW, did we miss the mark. I urge you to never go here. Don't make the mistake that we made.

I came here after a USC b-ball game for some of the late night grub. I got a salad. It was mostly croutons and tomatoes. Really just one big round crouton covered in tomato sauce. And cheese. I ate pizza. And because it was after 10pm I got the pub pizza which is a personal 8 in pizza for $2! And it's a good quality pie. I will be back soon to finish my mini beer tour and collect the free t-shirt too. Gotta collect em all!

While very good, I'd call it deep-dish, not Chicago-style. True Chicago-style (at least to me) is sauce on top. But as mentioned, the deep-dish is still good. I prefer it to their thin crust. The salads are good too. Both the Caesar & the spinach, chicken avocado. The nachos are huge and pretty tasty! Definitely go for lunch. Almost everything is less than $8 with a salad for a side. They don't have happy hour specials but everyday all beers from a select brewery are $3. Overall, a great addition to the Vista. We'll be back, often! Especially since the rewards program is so good.

Wonderful soft opening at Old Chicago in the vista with family and friends. We sure did enjoy the pizza and the apple dry rub on the wings! Our server Beth was probably one of the best servers I have ever had at while dining at Old Chicago. So check this place out as soon as it opens it's a nice addition to the down town area.

I came here from my hotel in Irmo because the reviews were that good! I wasn't disappointed either! They had an unusually large crowd because the food truck rodeo was in town but the bartenders were still friendly and courteous. They have a nice beer selection including some that I had not seen before. I got a Sierra Nevada Nooner and was very happy. Plenty of tv's to watch the game on( which was my intention to start with) and an overall family friendly vine for a Sunday afternoon. I ordered the signature Kickin Canadian Bacon deep dish and I was not disappointed. Just enough heat to make me happy and not enough to burn me up. I was very happy with the service and the food. I sat at the bar but I'm sure if you were seated in the sweet outdoor patio or one of the oversized booths inside you would be happy.

When I came here they had this really great deal Monday through Thursday during lunch hours where they had unlimited garlic spirals, unlimited salad, and a personal pizza for under $10. (Though this deal may only be during the school year, I'm not positive). My friend Dylan and I of course got that! We had two salads each and quite a few garlic spirals which allowed us to have some left over pizza! The pizza was alright, it was kind of like frozen-ish pizza that they dropped in grease, but it wasn't too bad. The salad was really good, and some of the garlic spirals were good but they were the size of a quarter and you only got 3 at a time, so it was awkward to ask for more. Most of the garlic spirals were so thin that they were basically a garlic crouton instead. Overall the meal was okay, I don't really know if I'd ever return, even with the great deal.

I was lucky to be able to go to the soft opening and try some of the items. We tried the Italian nachos, Hawaiian deep dish and the Tuscan chicken thin crust. Other reviewers are right. It tastes just like the old Pizza Hut. But I loved the old Pizza Hut so I don't care. It's not really Chicago deep dish but just a really thick chewy crust, but good. The thin crust pizza was really good. Kind of like a thin chewy garlic bread. I loved the dressing that the spinach topping was dressed in. The pizza nachos were ok. There wasn't a lot of topping on them and the fried wonton chips got soggy pretty quickly. Our server was really friendly and sweet though.

I always get great service here and the food is excellent! These Peppered Bacon Smothered Cheese Fries is awesome!! Washing it down with a cold Foothills Carolina Blonde draft beer.

Alright, we all know the soft opening was fantastic, so I decided to go back! Saturday night was packed to the gills and I went with a 10 person birthday party. I was able to score a drink within 2 minutes while we waited for our table. Where does that happen at in The Vista? There were plenty of eager smiling bartenders waiting to tackle the masses. A+. This was fantastic since this place doesn't take reservations. Once comfortably seated we had drinks fairly quickly and orders were taken. Everyone seemed very happy with their choices once the food started arriving. I did not have pizza this time, but I've been craving that double decker pepperoni pizza that stole my heart last month! Equally as tasty and slightly spicier were the pepperoni rolls. They were little bombs of flavor with the perfect chew! Savory, cheesy, salty, spicy, doughy goodness. You don't even need the ranch! I shared those with my partner along with a Mediterranean salad we could have skipped. The salad was just ok. We also shared 3 different flavors of wings. The soy ginger teriyaki are really something special and not too sweet! The traditional hot was spot on, and the sweet Thai chili were also very good, and again not too sweet with balanced heat. They were all cooked extra crispy to our liking but could have been slightly hotter as far as temperature goes. I like everything scalding hot, but I assure you they were an acceptable temperature. Brandon handled our party so well. He's a professional and a super busy night is a walk in the park for him. We had a fantastic time and I'm looking forward to happy hour, spring and summer nights on that patio!

My wife and I were lucky enough to dine at Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom the final day of their soft opening. They operated like a well oiled machine. The staff was super attentive and explained things well. My first impression was "Screw the food, look at all the beers!" So the taproom is for REAL. We started with the Sicilian Peperoni Rolls. Glutenous, gastronomic, deliciousness! My wife got the "Hawaiian Pizza" Chicago Style (the sauce is different like a little bit of sriacha in the sauce), and I got the Chicago 7(minus olives). Though both pizza's were good, it is not the Chicago Deep Dish, I was hoping for. They are more like the pizza hut pan-pizza. Neither of us tried the thin crust to compare. The menu is HUGE. I can't wait to go back and try something other than the pizzas (but I'd eat the pizza again). Great adition to the vista.

I really wish I could rate the food and service separately. The food is always excellent. The series of unfortunate events leading up to and following getting my food is severely disappointing. Service gets a -27. Went on a Sunday and was told the sandwich I wanted they were out of... Ordered something else and told they were out of fries. Went today and it took 15 minutes to get our drink order. The person who took it didn't know who our server was but offered to get our drinks. Server comes over and retakes order. 25 mins pass and I'm still thirsty. Server comes back with drinks and we order. I scarf down my drink and the server grabbed my cup to get a refill. During this time we decide to get an appetizer as well. Another 15 minutes pass and our waitress is nowhere to be found. A guy comes over with food and obliterated our pizza trying to cut it. It was so wrong it was comical. After we start eating I finally get my refill and we didn't see this chick again until we were done. If I ever decide to go back I'll order to go. Unless you feel like waiting a long time with piss poor service I don't recommend this place at all. I've only been satisfied with 1 out of 3 times I've been there.

The pizza crust was awesome...it was thick crust, but it was light. The calzone was good -made with pretzel dough. It was very good, but I shouldn't have eaten it -too heavy. The pizza is the way to go here. The rest of the menu looks really good too. Service was good. Will be coming back again!

We waited 10 minutes before being greeted after seating. Requested our salad before dinner, but didn't come that way. Then our Italian nachos were greasy and broken little peices. The chicken wings were under cooked. But the avocado salad was perfect once it finally arrived!

I dropped into this restaurant during a night passing through South Carolina. The food was pretty good, but the portions were even better! The staff knowledge of beers was impressive but what made our night was the casual conversation and engagement by a man named Earl Bell. He continued to ask us if we were doing okay and had a genuinely fun and active conversation with us! While I may never come back here again, the quality of food (pizza and ribs) and the experience with Mr. Bell will always be a good memory!
