I thought this place was nice! The food was yummy and reasonably priced. I got a HUGE burrito with chicken and chorizo, mushrooms and onions with unlimited chips and salsa for 8 dollars... I could only eat half of this ginormous meal and took the rest home for meal #2. The staff was friendly and the place was clean.

My opinion of this place has waned recently. The last 2 times we've eaten here the service has been slow and lost looking. Something is awry here. Food still descent. I noticed at the Mexican restaurant on Two Notch Road that there's a server from Monterrey's working there now. Disappointed:(

Stopped in for lunch excellent food attentive service yet not too attentive which is great. Authentic food from a family run restaurant prices spot on two for lunch for under twenty with the lunch special chicken fajitas and a lunch special steak fajitas were outstanding! I would defiantly recommend them to anyone!!!!!!!

Waitress was friendly and restaurant was clean and decor was nice, but food was awful. Cheese on the kids quesadilla was strangely separated and tasted off, pico de gallo served with steak tacos was several days old and chips were burned. We will not be returning.

Eat here if customer service doesn't matter to you and you think crappy chain restaurants should be rewarded with more business for bad service.

Good Queso and salsa. Love the quesadillas and burritos. Good drinks however the wait staff is a little slow to acknowledge customers. But it's not far from my house so I will go back until they do something I really don't like. Lol

I ordered the enchiladas and my husband had the lunch fajitas. Everything tasted bland with minimal cheese. Ladies restroom door did not lock. Location was 1-77, near the Lexus Dealership.

Total exp was okay but you can tell they get overwhelmed with a crowd. Food was good but took 30 minutes to get and by then most of my party was full on drinks and chips. Will come back just not on a Friday night.

Stopped in at lunchtime for steak tacos. They weren't any good and it was VERY expensive. The portions were fine, but the steak taco tasted boiled, came on a soft flour shell, and had no cheese, lettuce, cilantro, etc. 3 tacos (with refried beans) and a diet coke was nearly $13?!?! And they tasted bland. I did all I could to eat 2. I had to abandon the last one. My palette couldn't take it. They had more affordable meals, but they were limited to ground beef or chicken. The steak tacos weren't even on the menu, so I blindsided when the bill arrived. It took about 7-8 minutes to be acknowledged and seated, and service left much to be desired. The reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is their beer and margarita specials are awesome. I did not partake, but a 32oz draft Dos Equis was like 3.50-4.00 and margaritas are 1.99. Maybe I should have had a drink or 2 before eating :-/

The only time we had a small wait for seating and ordering was during cinco de mayo. Every other time we were seated and served promptly. Food is delicious and they have a nice outdoor patio. We frequent this place weekly. Good happy hour margaritas too!

HORRIBLE service and food. We went on a weeknight, there were only a few people in the restaurant and it took 10 minutes to get seated and even longer to be waited on. my food was awful, I couldn't even eat it.

A local spot that has tough competition with San Jose. Their service is quick and that's appreciated but what they make up for in service they lack in quality. Their food is standard and their drinks are weak (margaritas). It's a small spot so really only locals go there but if you're really in the market for Mexican, just head on down the road to San Jose. It's so worth it.

i dont know why this place isnt getting more 5 star reviews. the staff may seem a tad cold at times but i think thats just a slight language barrier. when they start to get in the groove theyre all very friendly and the food is great. beer portions are outstanding and cheap too! i love this place and it beats the living crap out of that joke san jose. seriously though... i hate san jose and their exceptionally rude staff. id ra

Absolutely love this place! Good sized portions, good salsa and friendly service. Food does take a bit to get to you sometimes, but worth the wait! A must if in the area!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
