Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Great experience our son made a mess and the waitress didn't bat an eye. Most people would have made a face but she was awesome.

I am being generous with two stars for the prices here, but the service was good as was the ambiance. The panzanella salad was decent and not overly dressed. We also had the soup of the day (salmon, lobster bisque) which was tasty. The entrees fell completely flat. The veggie pizza was undercooked and soggy, using frozen dough and frozen veggies. The baked pasta primavera was not baked and used only olive oil (no other spices, not even salt) as a dressing and the exact same frozen veggies as the pizza. There is nothing fresh about their "fresh" veggies of the day. All-in-all, bland, pasty, and soggy. Final verdict: Save your money and buy your own frozen dinner.

No place better for Italian than Moes Grapevine in Columbia. This is the place when you are looking for good quality and ingredients done well. The specials are always great but my favorite is the Lemon Chicken.

I don't know what's up with these bad reviews over here. The service, excellent. The food, delicious. Price is slightly high, but perfect for dates or birthday dinners. Been coming here since it opened and love it!

I don't know how this place is still open. We haven't been in awhile, but found it overpriced and tacky. (There was a HUGE billboard sign advertising Moe running for whatever office strategically displayed in the dining room.) I had a thin crust pizza which came out overly burned, dry and salty. The salad was wilted and had too much dressing. We'll never return.

I Love Moes Grapevine. My husband and I have been to this restaurant several times a month for the past 4 years. If you want cheap quick italian go to Fazzolis or Olive Garden. The service here is prompt and Great. The food is plenty that you can share a dish (if you want to) we are not seafood people so other wise we've had almost all their dishes. To me its a hidden gem, we've also done take out an again no disappointments. Not really sure why the bad reviews as Ive found them not true to my experience, but they are also older so who knows whats changed. Both my husband and I have traveled all over the world and will pay for good service and food, otherwise wouldn't return. We've dined at high end Italian restaurants in NYC that just cannot be compared to Moes in taste and ambiance. Wednesdays they have live entertainment and we love it its romantic and nice to have when you are trying to wine down. Its our little place to eat good food, great atmosphere and great service.

I was impressed with Moe's! When my friend and I showed up we were the only people in the restaurant; never a good sign at 530pm. But, the food was mighty tasty- we got the baked ziti and the martini chicken. The baked ziti with sausage was cheesy and flavorful and not oily. The martini chicken wasn't fabulous; the most flavorful thing on the plate were the olives. Service was excellent; she gave good tips, never an empty glass, and was charismatic. The wine list was good; as a Sonoma County native I was impressed! Prices were reasonable. I'll definitely be back, ordering cheesy bread and baked ziti for sure.

My wife and I just returned from Moes. I had been there in 2006 when my wife was out of town and I had forgotten why I had never wanted to go back. The service and food were awful. They were down to one waitress who clearly was over her head. The salad was old and stale, the oil dressing just terrible. My wife had a lasagna she thought was ok but it was tepid and that meant the cheese was cold. It took a long time to get out of there because they were so slow in bringing the check. We will never go back.
