Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

I love this place. It has a hometown feel and the pizza is yummy. On top of that they have a full affordable bar and a great bar-tender. It is a cozy place to drink a beer and eat a slice. The service is excellent as of late and the food has always been on par. I cannot overstate my satisfaction with this pizzeria.. Saturday nights are my favorite.

If you happen to be in shopping mood at Sandhills.. Try this place. The pizza is pretty good, the sauce is tasty, the dough is light and airy, cooked to a nice crisp. It's kind of a combination between a regular crust and moderately thin deep dish?? But!! They use canned mushrooms!! Bla!! What kind of pizza place does that? Someone please explain?? They have about 15 to 20 beers on tap.. However, the waitress didn't know what they were~ Overall, like I said, if you're in the neighborhood, give it a try. It's clean, the staff are nice, the pizza is fairly decent.

Had a great experience tonight at East Coast Pizza. I just love the fact that the owners are always present. This restaurant is clean, The food is always good, and they tend to have a nice crowd. I have noticed recently that the crowd at this restaurant is growing. They seem to be doing some great things....And their service seems to be speeding up also. I've read a lot of reviews about them. And I would agree that they were experiencing some growing pains. But it looks like the establishment is really coming along now. I specially enjoyed seeing them on the local news station highlighted as an exemplary restaurant report card.

After many, many visits here I am sorely disappointed in how we were treated after complaining that the pizza was cold. The only option provided was 10% off the pizza because we were told "the pizza's not cold." It was not even attempted to reheat in oven or rebake new pizza.
(1)Joel L.
Had the santorini veggie pizza and it was delicious. Service was ok. Music was a little loud for conversation. But the food and beer were the real stars. Definitely going to make this a regular stop.

Great Pizza!!! great service!!!! Great Prices! !! Carry out, Delivery, or just Dining in could not ask for a better place!
(5)Laurin N.
The food was decent. I had a small pizza and fries. I would come back to try other things and possibly have a drink at the bar. Not bad.

Initially our server sat us at a table that was clearly too small to serve a pizza on. After bringing this to her attention, she offered to move us to a booth when another customer was finished. We ordered a cheese fries appetizer which had lots of toppings but could've used more fries. The pizza we ordered was delicious! Overall, service was good after the initial seating.
(3)Miguel D.
This pizza is awesome and their wings are really good too. The only problem is that they mess up my original order and I had to wait a little longer. However the owner and staff did everything to make it right so that was good. The quality of their food is great.

Great place! Don't miss it! Good beer selection and tasty pizza pie! Don't have a clue about the crap Chris and brad were talking. Must be the competition. The crust is crazy good solid sauce just grab the toppings and beer you want and your in pizza joint heaven! Oh and the wings. Extra crispy and hot are wonderful!
(5)Christian R.
I suspect growing pains! Food is great and they have a lot of options. It just takes awhile to get your food. Go here if you are not in a rush Went back a second time service was horrible

Although the food was delicious, everything took a very long time to get to the table, especially my daughter's burger - took an hour! Once it came, it had a lot of mayo on it which she requested be left off. Our waitress, who was good to us, had the kitchen remake it, but again a glob of mayo. The manager would not allow the waitress to take the burger charge off the bill, but instead came to give an brief, impersonal, insincere apology and a credit for our "next visit". The gyro pizza doesn't really taste like a gyro, and there really wasn't enough tzaziki sauce served with it to compliment the whole pizza.
(2)Frank m.
Good food. Prices are ok. I came in around 1130 for lunch. Not to busy so the food was quick. Service was good. I advise the east coast special pizza, very good. Will come again.
(4)Debbie R.
Have been here 3 times now and we really like it. It is a little slow on getting your food but everything we have tried has been delicious.
(4)Diana M.
Pizza was really good... If you like lots of cheese in your pizza this is the place to go. The service was very good as well. I recommend it.
(5)Aidan N.
Went here on a Friday night and it was very busy, but there were seats at the bar so we opted to sit there. The bartender was very attentive and friendly. I ordered the gyro platter. The gyro was decent, but they should really put lettuce on it or else it's just meat and sauce. Also, a bit too much tzaziki so if you order it, I would recommend asking for light sauce. The fries were great. The order didn't take long either, despite what the other reviews say. Maybe the pizzas just take awhile to cook. Great draft beer selection too. Bartender only charged us $2 per pint of beer even though I don't think it was happy hour. Overrall a decent place based on my one visit so I'll be back.

This is the BEST pizza joint around!! If you know good good that is. Servers are nice and the owner Tula is great! A family endeavor that is a true blessing to this area. I've had two different pizzas n the wings both were great. Beer selection is good too and the prices are decent. No over priced garb here! A must visit for anyone who loves pizza!
(5)Vania L.
Horrible service BEFORE even getting seated, nasty attitudes and other dining customers complaning to management!! WE LEFT AND WONT BE BACK!!!! One star ONLY because Yelp requires a rating!
(1)Dana C.
Poor customer service and extremely slow! Appetizer came out with meal. Manager did not come over to apologize. Don't go!!!
(1)Chris L.
Great draught beer selection, pizza is decent but not impressive. Not worth your time, as previously stated in the other reviews, service was extremely slow. My beverage stayed empty, there was spinach on my pizza even though I did not order it. To top it off there was no soap or paper towels in either bathroom.
(1)Brian P.
A little on the pricey side, but the calzone was a decent size. The wait for our order was longer than I would have thought (about 30 min) considering the place was almost empty. Service was average, nothing special. Food is pretty good. Overall 3 of 5
(3)Tabatha N.
Wow. Just wow. Service was okay until the server brought out our pizza that not only had CANNED PINEAPPLE on it, it was also greasy and BURNT. When we notified the server of this, her response was "yeah. I noticed that when I was bringing it out."....are you kidding me. The manager then proceeded to give 15% off and didn't even come to apologize for the inconvenience. I will never go here again. Gross.

I'm so surprised about the poor reviews! This pizzeria is the closest to NYC pizza that you're ever gonna get in South Carolina -- possibly in the whole of the south. Great for transplants like me who occasionally craves NY food -- ESPECIALLY pizza and bagels. YUM. (I do enjoy places like Mellow Mushroom, but to me these will never truly be "pizzas" as much as "breads with toppings".) Firstly, this thing -looks- like the real deal -- but I've been fooled before, by many a place claiming to be "NY-style" (hmph). The slices are the right size and there's just enough grease. They look amazing. Once I tasted it though -- WOW, I was transported to my old neighborhood! The crust, sauce, cheese, spices -- it's nearly perfect. This pizzeria would work in New York. I just need to shake on some oregano and crushed red peppers and I'm ten years old again buying a dollar slice from the corner joint. This is the real deal. I haven't been back home to NY in a little over a year, but I plan to go this summer. When I get back home and partake in all the culinary delights of the city, including its amazing pizza, when I return I'm going to take another trip here to see if it still stacks up. Either way, if you're looking for an amazing pizza -- this is the place. TIP: For a true NY pizza experience, limit the toppings! I'm talking, plain or pepperoni or sausage -- or, my personal favorite as a kid, a white pizza with spinach (or broccoli) and dollops of ricotta. BONUS: They do a gluten-free crust.
(5)Christina M.
The wings were not cooked through all the way, pizza was ok, they were out of bud light, coors light and miller lite, service was ok. We won't come back.

We were sat promptly on a Sunday during lunch. The booth that they put us had a tear in it where it looked like they stitched it frankenstein style. This is always a sign of poor ATD and this place unfortunately has no ATD from their server to their food. We were greeted by server she took our drink orders. She suggest an appetizer. We order the Texas cheese fries and a Volcanic Hawaiian Pizza along with a Gyro Pizza. Were were told that the fries would take 7 minutes and the Pizzas would take 15 minutes. I found this peculiar since the menu warns you that they are slow. We actually received the fries around 12 minutes later. And the quick review is they were HORRIBLE. The server warded us that he plate was hot, but when i tried to get some fries off of the dish, the dish slid so I immediately grabbed the plate causing me to burn my finger pretty bad. It was ridiculously hot. This usually means that the plate has been sitting empty under heat lamps for a prolonged time. Which signifies poor organization in the kitchen. The appetizer consisted of non season fries that tasted like the oven fries that you buy at the grocery store. They were topped with banana peppers and pizza cheese. Alot of thick pizza cheese. I mean alot of cheese. I'm not sure how stale non season fries, with banana peppers along with ITALIAN cheese equals Texas. They also didn't come with any dipping sauce. A chipotle ranch or mexi ranch style dip would have been great, but the chef fell short. We had to ask for ranch in which they charged us extra for. They also brought it in a small plastic to-go style ramekin instead of the usual plastic ramekin like most restaurants. As a guy who loves cheese fries, these are the first ones in my life that I didn't eat. The pizzas came out a couple of minutes after the horrible fries. The pizzas came on these spider like stands which were nerve wracking. So every time that you tried to get a slice it would slid across the table. They also didn't bring us any plates to eat the pizza on. When we request them they brought us small appetizer plates that were the size of tea cup saucers. Only one slice would fit on them at a time. Also, the silverware was miss matched and look as if they bought them at a yard sale. The fork was some huge three pronged beast that I was scared that I might chip a tooth with. The Volcanic pizza was piss poor. It was mainly cheese, alot of cheese and I mean alot of cheese, with no sauce, topped with way too much of an overpowering sweet sauce. I guess the chef didn't learn in cooking school that the pizza itself is suppose to be the hero of the dish and not the sweet sauce. No one would ever guess that this was a hawaiian pizza. You couldn't taste the pineapple or ham. It also wasn't spicy. It was just drenched , and I mean drenched in a horrible sweet sauce. After one slice, all you can taste is that terrible sweet sauce. I couldn't even eat it. The gyro pizza wasn't much better. It was pretty much a tasteless gyro on a pizza. Again with no type of sauce and no flavor. To conclude, this chef must love cheeze because he smothers his dishes with cheese to cover up for his or her total lack of being able to cook a dish with any taste. This is a chef with not a poor pallet, but no pallet at all. They should quit and pic another occupation. I'm betting this place will be closed down in less then a year. Update: I was told by a former employee by the name of Toni B. That the fry plate was burning hot not due to heat lamps but because they actually stick the plates in the oven. Anyone with any restaurant experience will say this is oxymoronic. They are literally sticking burning hot plates in front of their customers.
