The mushroom and brie soup was well balanced and great tasting 5 stars Thai chicken flat bread pizza was not crispy enough and had a little too much going on with the sauce, it also takes around 15 minutes to make. 3 stars Chocolate banana bread was good and is a great desert for 2.50 4 stars

The Adluh cheese grits here are scrumptious. I could eat a gallon of them and still want more. Grab a coffee from upstairs and you'll be good to go!

Cool beans! Or is it College Grounds Cafe? Not sure if this is a restaurant with an identity crisis because when you walk in you will be greeted by signs that display both names. Nevertheless, I dig the artsy feel of the place! Decorated with bright colors and an intellectual vibe, I really like the look of the cafe. Now the food.... The Adluh Cheese grits were a thick and cheesy spin on an old Southern tradition. I like it! These grits will keep you full for at least two days!! That's how thick the the grits are! But I like my grits thick and hearty. So A+ on the grits. I also had their Falafel sandwich. If you don't know anything else about me, then know this: I AM A FALAFEL JUNKIE!!! I also lean toward being a slight Falafel snob.... But I am working on that in Falafel therapy.... Anyways... I was a little disappointed because my Falafel sandwich was extremely dry. Even the sauce on the sandwich was dry. How is that possible??? I thought I was delusional so I return later that week to the cafe to have an egg biscuit. Hey, what can I say?!? I like to give second chances. But my biscuit was dry!!! Just like the Falafel sandwich I had earlier. So I take away one star for dry breads/sandwich. Another star is deducted because the wait time is a little ridiculous for me. Now I admit, I am impatient, but why does it take over 40 minutes to produce dry biscuits??? Three stars go to the artsy decor and convenient location, but expect to wait a long time for your food.

My buddy had a warm, stuffed sandwich with a side of potato salad. Good so far. I ordered the quiche. The slice was tiny, expensive and COLD. Sheesh, couldn't they have taken 20 seconds to warm it up in the microwave? Doughnuts were good though, otherwise it would have been 2 stars.

Try the fresh made doughnuts! They come in a few crazy fun flavors each day, but they run out quickly. Haven't had anything else from here but the menu is a lot like cool beans upstairs.

I came back for breakfast and had a large bowl of the Adluh cheese grits. They were so creamy and cheesy! Really good. Filled me up and I wasn't hungry again until the late afternoon.
