We stopped here by chance. And we were very pleased! All the food was wonderful.The salad was fresh and cool. The ranch dressing was like you make from the packets at home, you know the really good stuff. They have a very nice selection of options. The peanut butter cake is life changing. But the best part of our meal was Holly our waitress. She was a ray of sunshine.

I was briefly acquainted with someone who suggested that I try this restaurant for great seafood. I decided to give it a try. I walk in the doors, noticed the cleanliness of the dining room which was a plus. Our server was very bubbly and nice. She had one of the most infectious smiles I had ever seen. However, I was very disappointed with the food. I had a fried shrimp and shrimp scampi combination plate. The fried shrimp were too heavily breaded and salty. I believe they were prepackaged (I prefer fresh). The shrimp scampi were a little tough. I had a sweet potato as my side item. It was over cooked. Other than the awesome service. I would say that the food is a little under average.

Not very good food , actually we were disappointed with the food, the apps were ok and the fried shrimp were ok but I couldn't eat the scallops that came with it they were cooked in old oil or something but they were terrible with a bad after taste, my wife's broiled grouper was very bland ,the service was the best thing about this place, thus the 2 stars otherwise it would be 1, needless to say we won't be back, maybe it's has something to do with us being from Florida and knowing seafood, don't know how they got the stars they have.

We where traveling from north Dakota on a Sunday night and stopped. Service was excellent, salad was crisp and fresh, food was fast and well cooked. We all very much enjoyed our meal and our server. Don't be afraid to stop!

Absolutely awesome service, huge portions, great pricing. Saturday night before Mothers Day Sunday and place was packed. Excellent service, we had the everyday perch, shrimp and chicken platters. Preparation was speedy, sauces all very good. We didn't get the crab legs but they looked amazing after we placed our order! Great, great place to eat!

My wife and I stopped to eat here an hour ago on our way to Myrtle Beach. The food and service was excellent! Could not have been any better! The fried shrimp and clam strip were so fresh. Will stop again on the way home.

This is a absolute treat for us truck driver who hardly ever get to visit a family owned and operated Sea Food Restaurant. Exit 52 off 385 in Clinton, SC, turn left and there it is, great mounds of Home Cooked seafood. I loved the decor and paintings almost as much as the Fried Seafood Platter with Scallops Don't know why I even ordered fry's because I didn't eat even one of them. The amount of food they serve is astounding, I could not even come close to finishing what I had ordered! Everything was cooked to perfection, enjoyed the bowl of hush puppies that came with my ice tea while I waited for my food! I give them 6 Stars for great seafood, and super clean restrooms!

The hush puppies were good but that's where it ended. I ordered baby flounder with fries. When the food came the fries seemed like they had been under a heat lamp for a while. Some were barely warm while others very hot, not hot like straight out of fryer but hot like heat lamp. The flounder was dry and chewy and obviously not cooked to order. By the time the waitress came back to check on things my wife was finished with her food which she described as "OK" (Broiled Perch) So we decided to just get a refund for my food which I did not eat. The waitress had to ask permission to take the food off if the check and she came back about about five min later with a plate of food saying that the manager told her to bring me a new plate instead of refund. Naturally that was not acceptable so I asked to see the manager. She was kinda rude and asked what was wrong with the new plate of food. My only thought was that it should have been fresh from the start instead of thirty min later. She eventually and reluctantly agreed to a refund. The waitress Bryanna was the only bright spot.

We just visited Blue Ocean for the first time and were really impressed. From the first greeting until we left the service was warm and friendly without being "over-the-top". We took our Server's recommendations and thoroughly enjoyed the blacked salmon and grouper. I would really recommend you try it and see for yourself.

Great seafood and generous portions. This place was very busy on Saturday night but we were seated right away. The staff was southern friendly and it was an overall good experience. Oh yes, the hushpuppies they brought out when we were seated had just enough sweetness that it was hard to not fill up on them before the dinner arrived.

Found this road side seafood haven by accident and was completely surprised by the quality of service and the food. The wait staff was incredibly attentive and courteous even with the large group we brought in. The hush puppies they start you off with is absolutely the best I've ever had crispy coating with a soft center. The fried calamari and fish were perfectly done and the portions were very generous. All in all it was a fantastic experience I'd recommend to anyone.
