Been doing Wet Willies for years either here or in Savannah. Cold, as in brain freeze cold, frozen beverages with alcohol in them and they are all great, especially when it is hot out. I only drink here, no food - so I can't rate that. Ask for your samples.

BEST BAR EVER! I am obsessed with all things slushy so this was my #1 stop while in Charleston on vacation! I would have loved for them to have sampler platters to try more of the flavors but it was fantastic. They had great options, great mixing of flavors, and great service! I will be at every Wet Willie's I come across!

As a lover of sweet, frozen drinks - Wet Willie's has been one of my favorite places to drink since my 21st birthday. Always order the large ($8) - you get to keep the plastic cup! My roommate and I each have a small collection from over the years. Haha. There have been really nice bartenders the last few times I've come and it's nice that they let you try a few samples...and mix as many flavors as you want into different combinations! My usual is the "banana split" but I sub the chocolate flavor for one of the others. The sour flavors (green apple and melon) are really good together too! Then again, I don't see how you could possibly go wrong, unless you order the "call-a-cab". While I don't ever go for the music, I like it in the background and have seen various types of music performed. Yep, this is definitely one of my favorite spots downtown!

I can't believe other people say this place is over priced. I thought the prices were amazingly cheap. Maybe it is because I am from Philly and any mixed drink in center city Philly will be $8 and up. Here at Wet Willie's there was fun finger shots for $3, even Patrone! Yes we got Patrone shots for $3!!! How can anyone complain about that. And 20oz slushy drinks which do have a decent amount of alcohol are only $8 and include a cup you can take with. They also have reduced calorie drinks on many flavors which were still very good and make you feel less guilty. And this is way better than just adding liquor to 711 slurpies. When adding vodka to slurpies the alcohol normally separates and gets kind of gross. Whatever they do with these drinks keeps the drink mixed without the booze separating. Our gumbo was pretty good and was also a decent price. I normally hate chains but this place is fun and I do wish they would open one in Philly. Service was also great!

You gotta give this a try if there isn't one in your neck of the woods... It's like going to get ice cream, except you're choosing your alcoholic slushy flavors instead. Feel free to mix them too.. Can be way busy late at night, especially if there's live music. We went one night and there was a line, that wasn't moving. So we had to return the following day- mid afternoon, and sipped our slushies while watching the world cup. Sip, key word, as you can definitely get brain freeze here. Fun place to go with friends-- I even saw people so curious they came inside to split a drink just to see what it was all about.

Fun bar (especially for bachelor/ bachelorette groups). Plan on drinking ONLY slushies. Be careful, they go down easy and catch up quick!

This place is cool. The manager Josh was very helpful in letting is watch American Idol on their TV. 6 beers later....

Ahh, Wet Willie's...the quintessential bar to stop over on your way to another place. This place has mass amounts of frozen daiquiri style drinks with various amounts of alcohol (see "Call-A-Cab"). If you are into that, look no further. Their frozen drinks ARE good, but this is their forte. I have seen several good live acts here that I would definitely see again, and the service here, I've never had a problem with. And there will undoubtedly be some sort of "girls-night-out" or bachelorette party happening here likely every time you stop in. Take that for what you will.

Wet Willies is a downtown Charleston bar built for tourists, suburbanites and frat boys. Other than that, there isn't a big reason to go in there. They are known for their smoothie alcohol drinks. The place has a constant stale odor, all the bands are just cover bands playing Tom Petty and Sublime covers and the staff is less than stellar. If you need a quick fix, go for it, but for a good bar experience that are so many better places in downtown Charleston.

Steve R.
Great drinks, great service, great live music. There's a nice lounge area in he back with comfy couches and late TVs. Very relaxing environment and he perfect spot to take a load off. The salsa and chips are great, with both being homemade I believe. Go for the large drink cup - best value and get to keep the cup.

These type of bars are never my favorite, but we were there the weekend of the marathon, so after running all morning, the group I was with wanted to sit down in comfortable seats for a while. Therefore, full disclaimer that my review may be biased. This bar seemed really out of place in the historic district of Charleston. This isn't Key West, Panama City Beach, or Myrtle Beach. Overpriced, really sugary drinks. They said they were really strong, and I felt it a bit, but not for the amount of alcohol they claimed was in one. And...given the wonderful food and drink scene of Charleston, why go to a chain?
(2)
Eric S.
I came here on a Saturday night and I was drawn in by the live music which was actually very solid. I was surprised by the lack of people here with a live band. The live music was really good but there was only a small group of people enjoying it; maybe it was a slow night. The frozen drinks r delicious and seem to be the only option. I tried 3; all of which were legit. Overall if you are looking for a chill place to have a few drinks to get the night started then look no further, this place gets the job done.
(4)
Liz M.
When they call "last call" they actually mean "leave now." A man will cuss at you if you try to use the bathroom after 1:45. I thought last call was at 2? On the bright side, service, music and drinks are fun. Tourist -y. The meanness of the employee in the restroom will not stop me from visiting this Charleston "institution."
(3)
Isabel J.
I have always been a big fan of the South Beach Wet Willies and was happy I found one in SC. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because they don't let you sample the flavors ( SC law)

Make sure your damn license has the hologram. I took my 2011 issued NC license and was told at the door by the "employee of the month" I couldn't come in. Get real! For slushies? Won't be back!
(1)
Jennifer I.
Umm...not a big liquor drinker, so it was probably a bad idea to come here in the first place. So, basically, overpriced slushies with a little alcohol are the name of the game here. The bar itself wasn't crowded, and the few inhabitants were unsavory looking characters. Hit some other non-chain place when you're in Charleston. You'll have more fun, and not get a brain freeze.
(3)
Marcie G.
My problem is I don't like sugary slurpie drinks. And this is the KING of sugary slurpie drinks. AKA hungover the whoolleee way back to Florida. Great if you're trying to forget your problems i guess lol They did have a fun, live band though!
(2)
Kathryn K.
It's an adult's slushie bar. If you're really into slushies then this is your place but if you're looking for a bigger variety of drink options I'd suggest trying something else.

Wet Willies aka hangover central provides two separate headaches when you partake of their product. Brainfreeze from the chill of their tasty smoothies and crippling hangover headaches the very next morning! This bar is definitely enticing to tourists and I can see how it'd do good business on a sunny weekend afternoon. At night, not so much. The smoothies are tasty enough and they were rockin' some live music to keep the bachelorettes bouncing so that's a point in their favor. I'd say if you're obliviously drunk, part of a bachelorette party or have an unusual tolerance for sugary drinks this is your jam. Otherwise i'd suggest moving on to another spot.

Ummm... this place exists? This is unbelievable... it's true that the grain alc. drinks taste like moon shine, but what the hell... have some $1 shots of top-shelf booze out of finger shot glasses, and you'll be fine. They also have reduced sugar versions for those of us not looking to boot jolly ranchers later that night.

I think if this place had a theme that could be playing as you enter the bar it would be via Iconz "Get Crunked Up." Just think of Wet Willie's as a Grown Up 7 Eleven! With close to 20 flavors of frozen, slushy, alcoholic goodness lined up on a wall behind the bar it's the greatest alternative for those who hate the taste of beer and wanna have fun gettin liquored up with an occasional brain freeze. You can check out their website at wetwillies.com for the full list. They also give you a list of "mixed drinks" you can create with their frozen creations. Of note, 2 of the drinks the "Attitude Improvement" and their famous "Call-A-Cab" have 190 proof grain alcohol blended into their mix. I ended up getting a souvenir size cup of Call-A-Cab which equates to about 12 oz of the frozen goodness. An enjoyable drink which you can taste the alcohol but still enjoy and pace yourself. They have live entertainment in the performance area next door which had about 8-10 tables and some TVs scattered throughout the area. A good place that you can tell locals and college kids of the like go to during the weekends to let loose. Just wish there was one a bit closer because driving 9 hours is a lonnnnnnnnnng way for a kicked up slurpee!

Wet willies is a unique spot that serves alcoholic smoothies in a wide variety of flavors. The bar is kept warm, so that these chilly drinks remain enjoyable even in a cold Charleston evening. On the positive end: Wet Willie's has live music all the time. Their drinks are generally delicious with Chocolate Thunder being the best by far. They offer "call a cab" smoothies that are advertised as extremely intoxicating, with the triple play drink being a mixture of all three "call a cab" smoothies. On the negative end: The drinks are pricey. The bartender told me that a large of these super alcoholic concoctions contained as much alcohol as eight beers. But that cannot be true. As an average build man with average alcohol tolerance, I did not feel as though I'd had eight beers. I don't know if she was exaggerating or if my drink was unusually weak. Either way, that one experience has forever turned me off from Wet Willie's. The unique charm of this bar only goes so far before the prices and sobriety ground you in reality...

2 stars only because Ive happened to have a couple really fun nights here. Mostly because my buzz, company and great music. NO thanks to expensive sugar drinks with a splash of liquor. Just know what you're going there for and you'll have a great time. Don't go expecting any thing other then a touristy chain with slush drinks. I will say... When I'm missing 7/11 slurpees this is a nice option to have.

Jackie D.
A fun stop on a hot afternoon of sight seeing. Bartender and patrons were friendly. Lots of alcohol slushies to choose from and they'll give you samples to help you decide. Went with Shock Treatment. Enough alcohol to feel it, but the flavor was so-so. One was enough. Live music was a nice addition.
(3)
Alex S.
Cool ambiance. I really like the lighting. The slushies were good, but a lil pricier than I would've thought. When they say it's stronger than normal drinks, IT IS. But they do have a lot of options to choose from, which is great. Also, our waitress was nice. We didn't get any beers, but they're pretty cheap. It wasn't that crowded when we were there, but they do keep the volume up in there. Overall still a pretty cool place to chill.
(3)
Lesley G.
A fun thing to do. Almost everyone who goes to Charleston talks about it, so I think its pretty touristy. Keep in mind that the slushies are all the same price but have very different alcohol contents. The green apple was good, but doesn't even give you a buzz.
(3)
Liana L.
Okay, admittedly, I didn't try the drinks - but I enjoyed the ambiance and I think it's SUPER COOL that they have a black light. I was extremely amused for a large portion of time, staring at my phone and my camera strap. Lights!! Oooooooh. That said, it'd be hard to have a large-ish group here; we squeezed 8 people into one booth, but it was kind of crowded. And the drinks were served in paper cups. That seemed pretty unclassy ... not that I need this place to be classy, but I just felt like that was weird. Couldn't they just use glasses? Service was good though; our server was really nice, and told us that it was only $1 more to get a much bigger size (which we hadn't noticed). Cool. :)
(4)
Colleen M.
Not a fan at all. If you like getting brain freezes and killing your alcohol buzz go here. The drinks aren't bad but they just taste like normal slushies just more expensive with a little alcohol. So basically I'm saying go to the liqour store and get some cheap alcohol and add it to a 7 eleven slushie.. you'll save a lot of money!
(1)
Katharine S.
Alcohol slushies = hells yes. $6.50 for 16 oz of White Russian deliciousness enjoyed in a glow-in-the-dark lighted "lounge". It's unfortunate that this isn't NOLA, where one can take these out into the world to enjoy, but this location has a good amount of booths and bar tables. I wouldn't want to spend my entire evening here, but this was probably my favorite spot, drinkwise, on a Charleston pub crawl the night before New Year's Eve.
(4)
Aurora P.
Nice service, a little slow, but may have been an anomaly for a Monday. Not especially atmospheric, but the drinks are certainly alcoholic.
(3)
Deb S.
A wide range of pre-made slushie drinks make ordering quick and painless. They have an extensive menu to ensure you're ability to black out sufficiently. BE CAREFUL with some of these drinks. The "Call a Cab" is named for a reason and don't think you can have a second one in the beginning of the night. It will officially be the last thing you remember.
(4)
DePaul J.
Not really a great place to eat but they got it locked like a closed door for the drinks. I had a Shock Treatment and my girl had the Call A Cab. Both were good.
(3)
Brad W.
This is a great place to kick off a night in downtown Charleston. Laid back atmosphere and usually a great crowd. The bands on Friday and Saturday night are usually nothing special, so after the initial few drinks I recommend going somewhere else.
(3)
Kat G.
Run away! This may be somewhere to buy an overpriced, under quality slurpie but do not, repeat do not eat here. Recently tried the Hawaiian burger, (so so), with gumbo (canned tomato soup w/a little rice and veggies would be more like it) and the pineapple cole slaw. This was beyond awful! It tasted like someone had washed the cabbage in a floor cleaning solution and then forgot to rinse! Spoke to our server about it and received a shrug. It took several hours and two packs of gum to get the taste out of my mouth! No joke! Judging by the reaction of our server, either I am not the first to complain or the management just doesn't care. I don't know which of those options is worse!

Who wants a Wet Willie?! Woo!! Ook then. My primary experience with these "slurpee bars" has been in New Orleans where it's basically a laundromat setup with a ton of machines and that's about it. You get it and go. Wet Willie's however has the twist of both interesting flavors (Mojito) and the atmosphere of a normal bar, complete with game room in the back (video games, pool, etc.). It was an excellent retreat from the August heat/humidity.
(3)
Lauren C.
Don't waste your time. If you have a blender and an Ipod at home you can create a better drink and a better party. The drinks are way over-priced for what you get.

Alcohol slushies! wow.. this place had a live band and good drinks, good people. and just good ambiance.. did not eat there so not sure.
(5)
Scott S.
It's great place to go if you enjoy frozen drinks. Won't mention them all but a few notables are "Call a Cab, Shock Treatment, Chocolate Thunder, Mojito Mojo" to name a few. A little expensive but the drinks are strong so it will only take you a few to get your fill. The only down side in my opinion is that it tends to get very loud to where you have to almost "scream" to talk to the group your with. This is the place we usually go before we embark on a Charleston Ghost Walk. (see my previous review of Ghost Walks)
(4)
Christy L.
I was just passing through and did a double-take when I saw Wet Willie's got 5 stars... so I thought I would enlighten y'all with my 2 cents. I've been to this place more than I'd like to admit (high school, bachelorette parties) and you have to drink A LOT of Call a Cabs to make it through a night here. This is the epitomy of a cheesy bar. Walk a little further down to Pearlz or across the street to Rooftop if it's a nice day - you'll have a much better time.
(1)
A. B.
I think I'm starting to like this place... I agree everyone that visit's this bar must try the "Call a Cab" drink. It's wonderful. I also recommend you go here during the week and try to avoid the weekends, it's definitely packed on Fri/Sat. Plus, during the week they have karaoke nights, and that's definitely great entertainment.
(4)
Brooke L.
Great place to start your evening out in Downtown Charleston. One Call a Cab and your ready to conquer downtown's cobble stone roads in 4in heels in search of a good time.. Good drinks, nice staff, the food can be hit or miss depending on who made it i guess. Wet Willie's really just made me miss good time in New Orleans where they give you a super large Styrofoam cup and hand you a straw and send you on your way but for a place your stuck finishing your drink in it's not a bad spot to chill. Tuesdays is a good night to go if you don't mind karaoke and want to head around the corner to Johnsons around 11 for the dance club thing. Sundays they usually have games on the flat screens and it can be pretty crowded they also have a live performer there so it can be pretty loud.

I was TDY to Charleston AFB a while back, and a girlfriend and I stumbled (no pun intended) across this place. What can I say except three letters...F-U-N! This establishment was started by a small group of friends who were in search of the perfect daiquiri. Well, they found it. You walk into this place on on the back wall of the bar are several frozen daiquiri machines spinning. It is a pretty cool sight to see. The first time we went there we slurped down two large "Call a Cab" drinks and wondered why we were so f'd up. We quickly found out that the bar mixes these "Slurpee's" with Everclear! YIKES! Wet Willie's was a regular spot for us. We typically would go there, hang out for a while, have a large "Slurpee" and walk across the street to a different dance club. Damn I miss those days. If you are ever in Charleston SC you have to stop in at Wet Willie's and have the drink appropriately labeled "Call a Cab".

I'm not a fan of the super sweet slushes but went here with friends. Still had a great time. They loved their drinks and I enjoyed mixed liquor drinks. They had a band that played great uptempo tunes and keep the crowd very entertained.

I've been to Wet Willies in Miami & it's a totally different atmosphere. Came here for the drinks, but of course once you start drinking you start getting hungry! Had the Mango with the Strawberry mixed! Yum... But I'm not sure if you can expect much from a place that's known for drinks on their food. Ordered the mozzarella sticks and there was no cheese on the inside of at least 3 of them. Pretty disappointing! My step mom had the cheesesteak but it was burned so she was not so happy. In any case the manager came over and had another one made for her which we appreciated. Our waiter was very attentive...

I am not a fan of sweet, frozen drinks so you should probably ignore my review. I don't know why I even ended up here. All I know is that after multiple beers, a sweet, frozen drink was a terrible idea. It was all downhill after Wet Willie's. However, I do remember that the employees were all very nice. They had a vast selection of fruity, sweet, flavored, vomit-inducing concoctions. I feel a little nauseous just writing this review. Anyway, if you enjoy this sort of thing - by all means, Wet Willie it up. If you are more of a beer drinker, stay away. Oh, am I just stating the obvious? Well then.

Typical frozen drink bar with a lot of selection. I was impressed with the Naked Wille. It's their drink mix that is sugar free and offers half the calories of any of the regular drinks. All you do is order the naked Wille and choose a flavor to mix with it. I order the strawberry and it was pretty good. It's a great place to grab a cool adult slushy on a hot day. Only down side is it's pricey. $7 for a small, I think $5 would be a good price for the size you get

Stopped in for a few drinks last weekend and had a blast. Found a large seating area in the back for us to relax while we enjoyed our drinks. Drinks were pre-made, cold and good. They also have jello shots that are very strong. I know that the price is a little expensive but they are frozen drinks. The no hat rule was irritating. This place is a frozen drink bar and not a classy establishment.

Taylor L.
This place is all about the slushies. Reminds me of the days in high school where everyone bought 7-11 slurpees. Our table only got drinks so have not experienced the food. The drinks are sugary and strong: perfect combination for a night out/ hopefully the morning after is hangover free. Our drink choices were call a cab( cherry/strawberry), shock treatment (lemonade/blue curaçao), and mix of mango and piña colada. The place was very open and even had a live band this Saturday night. Overall, go for the drinks, don't count your calories at this place and enjoy a night out. Personally, there are tons of bars downtown and this is not at the top of my list but I'll go.

I really love the Wet Willies franchise but as with every franchise some hit and some miss. This one missed. Went here with the hubby and the bar area was full so we decided to sit at a booth( esp. Since you can't walk around with your alky beverage in this city ). The place was not packed just the bar was full and their was one more set of guest at another booth. After a good 3-5 minutes of waiting the waitress finally came over and said hello. I asked to sample a few of their flavors--- all which were lacking in the correct "wet willies taste" --they seemed to be water down or not concocted correctly. I finally decided to just get the flavor I enjoyed that the Savannah location which was the shock treatment and piña colada. Again the drink wasn't on point but I ordered it so I made it work. I also ordered a jelly shot which was strong with alky flavor but probably better than my drink. The inside of this place could use some maintenance. The service was alright, but I wasn't impressed. This is not one of my favorite willies locations and I won't be coming back.

Last night in Charleston and we stopped here for a late night drink. This place reminded me of the daiquiri bars at home in New Orleans. Sweet, sugary slushy drinks and great people watching! There was a guy playing music on his guitar . He was pretty good and played a lot of Top 40. I was impressed until he referred to one of the female employees as "the one with the luscious piece of a$$"! WTF! The drinks were rather sweet and way too strong. I barely finished mine which was banana and strawberry mixed. One of my friends wasn't happy with hers and the server happily exchanged it for something else with no issues so I thought that was cool. I saw that they had a food menu but who would eat here? Maybe if you were desperate ? Just didn't make sense when they have such wonderful places to eat that are only a stroll away. 2 of my friends said that the restrooms were scary. Not sure what they meant by it but I won't be back to find out.

Came here last Friday night to try it out for the first time while visiting Charleston. I must say the alcoholic slushy concept is quite amazing and so was the slushy I ordered. I ordered the call a cab which had grain alcohol, awesome! This drink packed a bit of a punch but tasted like it had no alcohol in it for the most part. I highly recommend the call a cab! The place is pretty big with a ton of bar space but apparently after 8 they don't allow tank tops and despite paying for drinks they will still tell you that you have to leave, this is the only reason they get 3 stars.

Meh, is the perfect description for this place. I've been to Wet Willie's in other cities, and this one left a sour taste in our mouth. 5 of us walk in, 4 of us order. It's before 8pm, and as it's getting closer to 8, the bartender tells us that at 8pm we'd have to leave because one of our friends didn't have sleeves on. Okay, I know places have policies, etc, but, if you're inside already, you never kick them out once they're there for that. Never has that happened. So we're drinking, waiiiiiiting for this girl bartender to be like, yo, you gots to go... We see the bouncer come from the back, he sees us, asks very politely for my friend to take his hat off, and lets us be. That's MORE then fine. The alcoholic slushies were good, not great. So the combo of the two didn't really please us.

I came here on a Saturday night and I was drawn in by the live music which was actually very solid. I was surprised by the lack of people here with a live band. The live music was really good but there was only a small group of people enjoying it; maybe it was a slow night. The frozen drinks r delicious and seem to be the only option. I tried 3; all of which were legit. Overall if you are looking for a chill place to have a few drinks to get the night started then look no further, this place gets the job done.

In the beginning of my Charleston experience, I had encountered Wet Willy's a few times. I had heard a couple of stories from the locals afterward about how it was a tourist trap and a nasty establishment. However, I didn't notice anything shady or strange going on, and I think it's an alright spot to do something a little different. A wall full of different flavored alochol, and a free cup with purchase? I'll take it :)

This was one of the pit stops on my tour of Charleston bars. I have to say that it was EMPTY when we got there so I have to give the boo nanny on that point. But what i have to say was awesome was $2 PBRs. And what the place really reminded me of was all the little frozen libation joints in Louisiana. Fond memories of those. Not bad not bad, double W.

A dive bar in downtown historic Charleston, SC! My wife and I have been here a few times before, but on this trip our daughter went with us so we stopped in for a drink. Up front is a bank of adult slurpee machines filled with cold, icy alcoholic drinks. I always get "call a cab" or "atitude improvement" the two strongest drinks, both made with 190 proof grain alcohol and Barcadi select rum. A large in a take home souvenier cup is $8. Menu looks like typical bar food, but we have never eaten anything here, we go in here to drink alcoholic beverages! Our bartender was friendly and even washed and dried our cups when we were done so we could take them with us. Worth a stop, especially on a hot, humid Charleston summer day!

There is not much to review here. Wet Willie's is a chain that serves alcoholic slurpees. There are numerous flavors, and they charge a premium for what should be a shot poured into a $1 drink. At $6, the flavored slushees are a rip-off. The flavoring is gross, and they go light on the alcohol. The service was horrendous when I went. My server forgot the first 2 things I told him: a medium t-shirt, and an ice water. Then, he kept eyeing me to see if I was tipping him on my tab. He was a total jerk. It is just my opinion, but I would not recommend this as a place to enjoy a drink. This just seems like the midpoint stop on the way the getting hammered on digusting drinks. This is not a fun pub; take your money elsewhere.

This place is really cool - behind the bar is basically a line of slurpee machines serving up alcoholic drinks! It looks neat, and there is a lot of variety and every slurpee drink I've ever had here has been delicious. They use the space well and the bar doesn't get overcrowded. And when you aren't drinking, you can play games! This place is great.

I was very skeptical when my husband dragged us into this daiquiri bar but was pleasantly surprised by the appetizers we ordered to go with our drinks. Best quesadilla I have ever had, and I've eaten them everywhere. Hubby loved his gumbo.

Well then.

We went mid day. Drinks were good. Service was exceptional. Food was what would be expected from a place called wet willys. Our waiter Knox was great. The daiquiris are good but I couldn't imagine having more then one or two.

I'm not a fan of the super sweet slushes but went here with friends. Still had a great time. They loved their drinks and I enjoyed mixed liquor drinks. They had a band that played great uptempo tunes and keep the crowd very entertained.

(2)

Nice service, a little slow, but may have been an anomaly for a Monday. Not especially atmospheric, but the drinks are certainly alcoholic.
(3)

A wide range of pre-made slushie drinks make ordering quick and painless. They have an extensive menu to ensure you're ability to black out sufficiently. BE CAREFUL with some of these drinks. The "Call a Cab" is named for a reason and don't think you can have a second one in the beginning of the night. It will officially be the last thing you remember.

Not really a great place to eat but they got it locked like a closed door for the drinks. I had a Shock Treatment and my girl had the Call A Cab. Both were good.

This is a great place to kick off a night in downtown Charleston. Laid back atmosphere and usually a great crowd. The bands on Friday and Saturday night are usually nothing special, so after the initial few drinks I recommend going somewhere else.

Don't waste your time. If you have a blender and an Ipod at home you can create a better drink and a better party. The drinks are way over-priced for what you get.

(4)

Been doing Wet Willies for years either here or in Savannah. Cold, as in brain freeze cold, frozen beverages with alcohol in them and they are all great, especially when it is hot out. I only drink here, no food - so I can't rate that. Ask for your samples.
(4)Jaclyn L.
(5)Samantha I.
(4)Christina G.

(4)Ryndee R.
Drinks are great! Had a great time with all my bridesmaids here. Such a fun atmosphere
(5)Karina G.
Fun bar (especially for bachelor/ bachelorette groups). Plan on drinking ONLY slushies. Be careful, they go down easy and catch up quick!
(3)Bob S.
This place is cool. The manager Josh was very helpful in letting is watch American Idol on their TV. 6 beers later....
(4)TJ L.
(3)Mark L.
(2)Steve R.
Great drinks, great service, great live music. There's a nice lounge area in he back with comfy couches and late TVs. Very relaxing environment and he perfect spot to take a load off. The salsa and chips are great, with both being homemade I believe. Go for the large drink cup - best value and get to keep the cup.
(4)Lauren R.
(2)Eric S.
(4)Liz M.
(3)Isabel J.
I have always been a big fan of the South Beach Wet Willies and was happy I found one in SC. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because they don't let you sample the flavors ( SC law)
(4)Courtney B.
Make sure your damn license has the hologram. I took my 2011 issued NC license and was told at the door by the "employee of the month" I couldn't come in. Get real! For slushies? Won't be back!
(1)Jennifer I.
(3)Marcie G.
My problem is I don't like sugary slurpie drinks. And this is the KING of sugary slurpie drinks. AKA hungover the whoolleee way back to Florida. Great if you're trying to forget your problems i guess lol They did have a fun, live band though!
(2)Kathryn K.
It's an adult's slushie bar. If you're really into slushies then this is your place but if you're looking for a bigger variety of drink options I'd suggest trying something else.
(3)Charles E.
(2)Erick C.
Awesome
(5)Michael M.
Ummm... this place exists? This is unbelievable... it's true that the grain alc. drinks taste like moon shine, but what the hell... have some $1 shots of top-shelf booze out of finger shot glasses, and you'll be fine. They also have reduced sugar versions for those of us not looking to boot jolly ranchers later that night.
(4)Duane D.
(3)Earl C.
(3)T. B.
All I can say is " Call Me A Cab"
(4)Jen H.
(2)Jackie D.
(3)Alex S.
(3)Lesley G.
A fun thing to do. Almost everyone who goes to Charleston talks about it, so I think its pretty touristy. Keep in mind that the slushies are all the same price but have very different alcohol contents. The green apple was good, but doesn't even give you a buzz.
(3)Liana L.
Cool. :)
(4)Colleen M.
(1)Katharine S.
(4)Aurora P.
Nice service, a little slow, but may have been an anomaly for a Monday. Not especially atmospheric, but the drinks are certainly alcoholic.
(3)Deb S.
(4)DePaul J.
Not really a great place to eat but they got it locked like a closed door for the drinks. I had a Shock Treatment and my girl had the Call A Cab. Both were good.
(3)Brad W.
This is a great place to kick off a night in downtown Charleston. Laid back atmosphere and usually a great crowd. The bands on Friday and Saturday night are usually nothing special, so after the initial few drinks I recommend going somewhere else.
(3)Kat G.
(1)Jon L.
(3)Lauren C.
Don't waste your time. If you have a blender and an Ipod at home you can create a better drink and a better party. The drinks are way over-priced for what you get.
(2)Christina O.
Alcohol slushies! wow.. this place had a live band and good drinks, good people. and just good ambiance.. did not eat there so not sure.
(5)Scott S.
(4)Christy L.
(4)Brooke L.
(4)Tami S.
(5)Samantha I.
(4)Christina G.
(5)Brian K.
Been doing Wet Willies for years either here or in Savannah. Cold, as in brain freeze cold, frozen beverages with alcohol in them and they are all great, especially when it is hot out. I only drink here, no food - so I can't rate that. Ask for your samples.
(4)Stephen J.
We went mid day. Drinks were good. Service was exceptional. Food was what would be expected from a place called wet willys. Our waiter Knox was great. The daiquiris are good but I couldn't imagine having more then one or two.
(4)Michelle A.
I'm not a fan of the super sweet slushes but went here with friends. Still had a great time. They loved their drinks and I enjoyed mixed liquor drinks. They had a band that played great uptempo tunes and keep the crowd very entertained.
(3)Alison L.
You gotta give this a try if there isn't one in your neck of the woods... It's like going to get ice cream, except you're choosing your alcoholic slushy flavors instead. Feel free to mix them too..
(3)Maria E.
Well then.
(3)Jaime R.
$7 for a small, I think $5 would be a good price for the size you get
(4)Andy B.
(3)Taylor L.
(3)Jess I.
Husband had jack and ginger. I mixed attitude improvement with pina coolada. Nice drinks to cool off with. Staff was friendly.
(5)Maria M.
AMAZING FLAVORED DRINKS!!! I tried the Attitude improvement with the pina coldad!!. GReat!! i loved it. Its a cute little bar with some good appetizers. Would love to go again soon.
(5)Jerica D.
(1)Rachel M.
Rude service, mediocre drinks. Not the best of the south.
(1)Cecille R.
(3)Chris T.
(3)Justin C.
(2)Jaclyn L.
(5)Ryndee R.
Drinks are great! Had a great time with all my bridesmaids here. Such a fun atmosphere

(4)Karen N.
(4)James S.

(4)Scott J.
Great slushy alcoholic drinks. An adults 7/11!
(4)Sue G.
I was very skeptical when my husband dragged us into this daiquiri bar but was pleasantly surprised by the appetizers we ordered to go with our drinks. Best quesadilla I have ever had, and I've eaten them everywhere. Hubby loved his gumbo.
(3)Matt M.
Walked in Sober...Walked out Buzzed after 1 drink. Enough said.
(4)Jaime R.

Well then.

(3)Taylor L.

(1)Rachel M.
Rude service, mediocre drinks. Not the best of the south.

(3)Chris T.
(3)Stephen J.
(3)Justin C.
(2)Liz M.
(3)Earl C.
(3)T. B.
All I can say is " Call Me A Cab"
(4)Jen H.
(2)Charles E.
(2)Erick C.
(4)Duane D.
(3)Jackie D.
(3)Alex S.
(3)Lesley G.
A fun thing to do. Almost everyone who goes to Charleston talks about it, so I think its pretty touristy. Keep in mind that the slushies are all the same price but have very different alcohol contents. The green apple was good, but doesn't even give you a buzz.
(3)Liana L.
Cool. :)
(4)Colleen M.
(1)Taylor T.
(4)Karen N.
(4)James S.

(4)Aurora P.
Nice service, a little slow, but may have been an anomaly for a Monday. Not especially atmospheric, but the drinks are certainly alcoholic.
(3)Deb S.
(3)Kat G.
(1)Jon L.
(5)Scott S.
(4)Christy L.
(4)Brooke L.
(4)Tami S.
