I always have a wonderful experience when I come here. Everyone is always very welcoming and friendly. The service is fast and efficient too. Today I tried the chicken salad bc I was craving it! "Chicken Salad and Company" prepares chicken salad, on top of salad and two sides for only 8.99! So prepare to be full. I got a side of fruit and pimento cheese. Everything tasted delicious. It tasted like they put taziki sauce in their chicken salad, yum! They keep the place clean and always come to your table to see how you're doing. It's a great place for a group of four people! Great place to go by yourself too.

My husband and I stopped by for a small lunch and it certainly was perfect for that. We ordered a Greek chicken salad and we were a little disappointed, although the ingredients were really fresh. The chicken was a little chewy and dry and they forgot the peppercini and olives. It was so busy and we were unable to get the attention of any of the staff that we left it alone. I ordered a "bowl" of soup (I put bowl in quotes because it's more like a cup) but I really enjoyed it. The chicken was tender and juicy and it wasn't salty, which is something I've really come to appreciate about soup when I eat out.

I start off whining here, but the story has an upswing at the end. The first thing that stood out as I walked in was a lack of food smell. It smelled like an old relative's house. I was hoping to be enveloped by wafts of savory meats or fresh herbs. Immediately my expectations started dropping. "No falafel", I was told. "We don't have a fryer", seemed all too convenient with the slightest wisp of pretense. Falafel is so good - I'm sure there are other ways of preparing it! No Falafel!? Bah! Humbug! I got a gyro and a side of roasted potatoes, chips and some warm pita with hummus. The chips were chips. The roasted potatoes were really flavorful, hot and hearty. The gyro was great too. This meal started looking up. The pita was lightly brushed with oil and the hummus was a nice balance of tahini and spices. This place dug itself out of a deep hole and I left satisfied, mostly just happy that the food did the talking and it wasn't a flop.

Roasted Greek potatoes are killer. I could eat a bucket.... The gyro is really good too. Pita bread has a lightly crisp exterior, and it is not the typical shaved bits of lamb mystery meat on a spike but rather tender chunks of delicious lamb flesh... The way I eat a gyro: peel off strips of the wrapper...between bites, turn it upside down (careful not to dump out any goodies) so that the taziki sauce is distributed evenly - otherwise you get a soggy finish.

Whooooa doggy! I do love Greek food and Taziki's brings it! I was actually afraid we were way underdressed after hitting the bridge one Saturday but was shocked at how super casual it was, with a delightful interior. Think a Greek, not crappy Panera. You order at the counter, get yo'self a glass of wine, wait for the deliciousness to arrive! I don't love that the human race are slobs and leave their tables absolute messes - the first time, the staff cleaned them fast, the second time, quite a few were left dirty for a while, that's why they're losing a star. Either way, a new favorite place for a solid, healthy lunch.

If you're like me, you weren't so sure you'd like Greek food before you started discovering it. Taziki's is the perfect option for Greek food beginners or experts. There's stuff you'll recognize and friendly staff there to explain some menu options in further detail should you need it. Great place for lunch or dinner. Cute atmosphere with plenty of seating (especially for downtown). Easy on the wallet (lunch special with drink is about $11). Menu Highlights: - Weekly Specials - Tuesday's Pork Loin Sandwich is AMAZING (juicy, fresh, very satisfying) - Pasta Salad - All gyros - Tomato Basil sandwich (feta, tomatoes, basil pesto on a toasted bun)

I love mediterranean food so I was excited to try this place. We ordered catering for an event at work and it was delicious. We got the chicken feast with greek salad. The rice tasted great. The chicken was moist and delicious from the greek dressing marinade and the greek salad and greek dressing were amazing. Not to mention the Taziki sauce that you could literally eat on anything if you want to. Great helpful staff, very friendly and informative.

If I'm in town, Taziki's is my go-to place for a quick, cheap and tasty meal. It is easy take-out food, but it is a also a comfortable place to eat (and they serve beer and wine). My favorite dish here is the grilled chicken breast Tazikis feast. The chicken is always really juicy and it comes with a great greek salad and potatoes. Some other favorites include the greek salad gyro and chargrilled lamb feast.

My friend and I stopped here to take a quick shopping break and I'm so glad we did. The food was so delicious and very reasonably priced! The staff was very friendly and the food was delivered to our table very quickly. Which was good because I was getting a little hangry. We both ordered the grilled chicken gyro with the cucumber tomato salad with feta cheese on top. The crowd was full of students, shoppers and people on lunch breaks. The gyro was so delicious. Their tzatziki was amazing. And the best part was they put plenty on the gyro. The pita the gyro was on was perfect. I think my favorite part of the meal was the tomatoes and cucumbers with feta. It was the perfect side. They also added a few wavy potato chips to the plate. I will definitely be back here to try something new. The salads looked awesome, they seem very refreshing for a hot summer day. The sandwiches sounded very interesting as well.

I had the chicken gyro & Tzatziki platter. Go here if you want cheap, no frills, delicious food. No need to dress up. Best grilled chicken gyro I've ever had!!!

Great atmosphere, awesome waitstaff and some of the best Greek we've ever had. We came in on Sunday for lunch and had the chicken salad sandwich, doesn't get much better than this one.

Great lunch, everything is fresh and you can taste the difference. Even though you go to the counter to order your food the staff is nice and brings your food out to you. Nice place, really good food, I will be back!

Totally awesome food!!!!!!!! Went here first night in town and will visit again. Taziki sauce is great. Had the lamb gyro with toasted potatoes and highly recommend. My wife had the lemon chicken soup had said it was really good. Ordering is done at counter which may be drawback by some but not an issue here. Good food coupled with super service equals comeback place when in town

Every time I come here, I am never disappointed. Always greeted by friendly, helpful staff and taken care of promptly. The food is so delicious. The friday pasta (they have daily specials!) and the chicken salad sandwich is the best. Highly recommended.

I ordered the lamb gyro as a take out and was disappointed to have gotten beef instead. Tomato cucumber salad not bad, but over all I expected a better meal.

This food was both delicious and cheap. I had the chicken Gyro and it was delicious. I tried the The lamb also and it was the best quality lamb I've had in a Gyro. I would also recommend the Hummus here

Great Mediterranean fare. Stopped by on 2nd Sunday. King street was mobbed- this place kept up the pace. Hummus was great with nice garlic finish. Chicken Gyro

Went here with a coworker for lunch and I think we were both happy with it for what it was- a place best for a casual lunch due to good prices, plenty of seating and (in my experience) fast service compared to some more leisurely spots that don't accommodate the typical lunch break. I definitely liked the choice of sides, which go beyond the typical fries or chips (the roasted potatoes were AWESOME!). And you get the side of your choice PLUS chips, which is nice; though since the chips were your typical fare, I could have easily gone without. Also, a menu with plenty of choices and including desserts is a huge plus! You have a variety of options which accommodates groups. My veggie wrap was full and flavorful and reasonably priced. The reason they don't get five stars is because it isn't authentic. It's a fine lunch place but if you are really hankering for the "real deal" or something that will just blow your socks off- this will leave you disappointed. It's perfectly good, but not GREAT. My advice? Go in with an understanding that the food is fine, but it's not high-end or gourmet, it's not super authentic, but it's certainly filling and tasty enough. I think anyone would be happy with realistic expectations of this place.

Great greek food, really quick service. Like all Charleston dives, a little cramped. Both my wife's pesto chicken wrap and my skordalia/lamb gyro were over-seasoned but good. The sides were good, but you can't mess up chips, fruit and cucumber salad.

Very good all around. Standard Mediterranean fare. I had chicken gyro; not much chicken but still good.

great place for a quick lunch, awesome service and price. I always go with the chicken Gyro and cucumber salad. Everything looks quite appealing as well.

Contrary to popular belief, I don't like writing bad reviews. I'd much rather wax poetic about how awesome that sub I just ate was, or how thrilled I was with my maid service (largely because I'd be thrilled I could afford mid service). But, unfortunately, Taziki's just doesn't get the nod. At best, it gets a half-hearted shrug. Or maybe a grudging acknowledgement. I got lunch here, not too long ago. After opening a shop on King Street, I was thrilled at all the lunch places now available to me, and since I love (LOVE LOVE) Mediterranean food, I decided to give this place a shot. I'll be honest - I was angling for dissatisfaction from the get go, because any true lover of Greek cuisine knows it's spelled tzatziki, not "taziki". So I went in for lunch, and got the lamb gyro. You can't go wrong with a good lamb gyro. Years of working in Manhattan have made me a bit of a conniseur of lamb gyros, and I was looking forward to something greasy, soggy, and disgustingly delicious. I wanted schwarma, gooey dripping slices of it piled high with only the pretense of vegetables. Instead, I got chunks. Nay, I got a lamb salad in a pita shell. WTF is this? But I soldiered on, because lamb is lamb and love is love, and it's hard to get greek food wrong. Then I tasted the "taziki" sauce. I wanted creamy, dill-y, lemony, sharp greek yogurt goodness. I got mayo mixed with Italian dressing. It was runny, and oily-er than the meat, and looked...yellow. Like in the photos. This is not Tzatziki sauce. This is so far from tzatziki sauce that it makes me want to cry. I've had better Tzatziki sauce at grease-pit diners at 4am. I mean, I whip up a better tzatziki sauce when I'm bored and want to dip chips in something, and it takes me 5 minutes, and mine never has a weird yellow crust on it. It's not that hard, people. So final thoughts - it was not a terrible sandwich. If I was looking for a wrap, it would have been perfectly acceptable. But it was sold to me as a Greek gyro, with tzatziki sauce, and that's what I REALLY REALLY wanted. It was none of those things, and the owners should feel bad for dissapointing me like that. Seriously, the food isn't bad, but this is "Greek food" the same way that Taco Bell is Mexican food.

Yeah, cool place to take a hungry family. Our first experience at Tazikis. Our waitress was Micah and she was very attentive and visited out table often. The whole staff seemed to "bust it" for great service. Just down a few doors from a more formal Mid-Eastern restaurant, the food here is of very good quality, taste and texture for a fraction of the price. Albeit you have to order at the counter, but food is brought to your table and frequent checks are made to your table. Lots of choices on the menu, Lamb was tender and tasty without being too gamy. SaleebScore: Value: 9/10; Service 8/10; Food: 8/10

My husband and I really enjoyed lunch here. The staff was friendly. I ordered the basil chicken gyro and it was really good with lots of flavor. The tomato cucumber side was awesome too and I loved that they had healthy options like these. My husband had the beef tenderloin sandwich and really liked it. Even their sweet tea was good (and I'm picky about my tea). This meal was a great value for the price. I would definitely go back.

This nice little rustic modern mediterranean restaurant that's tucked into King st. The inside is kept very clean, with attentive staff. There's a fair amount of seating with bar, table, and hi top options available. The menu is very health oriented, and includes all the typical mediterranean food options - hummus / tzechi sauce with pita, salads, and fruit options for appetizers. Full size salads, gyros, and "feast" options for main courses, and a selection of homemade desserts. I enjoyed a grill chicken gyro with tasty tzechi sauce that was clearly house made. It came with a side of grilled potatoes, and was very filling overall. I would definitely recommend anybody try this place, it's quick, quality, and healthy Mediterranean food.

I am so glad that we went to Taziki's. It's really pretty inside, all the employees were extremely friendly, and the food was incredibly fresh. I had the Grilled Chicken Gyro with taziki sauce, tomatoes, lettuce, and grilled onions with two sides: chips, and a tomato-cucumber salad. I am really weird about onions, and these didn't even bother me. Although I think the potato chips were unnecessary, I was very pleased with my other side. It was as if they had just chopped my tomatoes and cucumber a few minutes before plating it. We also shared hummus and pita chips. The hummus was on the grittier side (which I like), but still creamy enough. You have got to get to Taziki's. I'm in love and you should be too. Don't worry -- I share.

I just came here for lunch with about 5 other coworkers, and feel pretty unimpressed. The good: The dude who rang us up was a total sweetheart, the food tasted alright, and the prices are reasonable. The bad: The manager, however, was kind of a jerk! My friend had asked if she could have her gyro in a wrap instead of pita, and the manager rudely barked at the cashier in front of us about how they were too busy to do that. Kiiiind of awkward. Also, I'm not totally sure as to why its that big of a deal to put something in a wrap instead of pita? Anyway, the majority of us all got sick nearly immediately after we ate, which kind of did it for me. I doubt I'll be back.

I am hard pressed to find anything wrong with my first experience at this new location. Really! Walked in kind of late-ish on a Sunday evening to grab something quick, and all but for nobody checking in on us once the food had been served to see if we needed refills, etc, I couldn't complain. Had the Lamb and Skordalia Gyro with a side of the Tomato-Cuke salad and wasn't disappointed. Still always question the handful of potato chips they throw into your basket...it's always struck me as being an after-thought that cheapens their dishes, but hey, I'd rather have an extra on my plate than something missing, and most times, I can remember to tell them to hang onto their chips.

Stopped in with something healthy in mind for lunch and everything we tried was awesome! Hummus app was cheap and clearly homemade with nice soft warm pita triangles for dipping. I had the chicken feast dinner, it came out on a bed of Greek salad and I got the roasted potatoes as a side. Plenty of food, fairly light and very delicious. My friend got the dolmaldes as an app and the tilapia as his main dish. I sampled the dolmaldes and they were wonderful. I didn't try his fish but he said it was very good. You can't beat the prices! Everything, including the main dishes seem to be less than $10! Next time in Charleston I will definitely be stopping by for another taste.

  • Brittany H.

I have to agree with Heather K. in saying that this is the best Mediterranean food in Charleston! This place always looks like they have steady business, & I can see why! I stopped here on Second Sunday with a boxer puppy in tow & their outdoor tables were full, so we ordered to-go & headed for The Cistern for a little picnic in the park. I expected it to take a while for our order to be ready, but it was surprisingly quick! After much indecision over what to order, I went with their Pesto Chicken Gyro & it was delicious! (I'm actually getting hungry again just thinking about it...) There are so many other things that I want to try(including some baklava for dessert) so I'll definitely be back! Opa!

Stopped by on my way out of Charleston. I had the lamb gyro (seemed only fitting at a greek restaurant) and it was amazing! the veggies were fresh, meat was cooked perfectly, amazing Taziki sauce. I got the fruit cup as a side (melon, pineapple, grapes) and it also came with ruffle potato chips. Everyone was very welcoming. The service was very quick too which is a plus! I'd recommend it!

Very good food. Hummus was delicious as were the pita chips. The lamb dinner was excellent with the side salad. We had a great time and would return of we were in Charleston. Very informal and a bit loud.

This is a great little place that you wouldn't guess is a chain until you realize you can get the nutritional information on their website. I've only been in Charleston for a month and I'm already a frequent customer - close by, delicious, very healthy and well priced. It's a great system where you order at the counter, and they bring out the food to you - dine in or carry out. Ordering a Chicken Pesto Gyro is your best bet here even if you aren't a fan of pesto (like me) because it is freaking delicious. I ordered the grilled chicken "feast" for dinner carry out one day, and I would say there was just as much chicken, if not less, than the gyro's my friends bought. Don't miss out on the dinner for 4 specials which would be great for a family take-out dinner.

I was actually extremely disappointed with this meal, despite wanting to like it so badly. To start, this was my first time eating here. Not knowing how the restaurant worked, I walked in and was totally ignored by everyone working there. The people behind the counter in the back would make eye contact with me, seeing that I'm clearly lost, and would go about whatever they were doing. When I finally took it upon myself to go ask them if I need to order up there and sit myself, I was given a snobby "Yeah". Alright, no big deal. I can look past that. The cashier couldn't make change for the life of her, either, but I looked past that as well. I ordered the char grilled lamb over rice with a salad. My girlfriend ordered the herb-roasted pork loin with potatoes. We were both looking forward to our meals, and were so disappointed with what came out. The lamb was like eating hockey pucks. No flavor, hard as a rock, and no char on my "charred" lamb. The rice was disgusting. No other way of putting it. My salad was actually good, but was complemented by a hard, stale piece of pita bread that tasted like it was made the day before. The savior of the meal was the salad dressing, which was awesome. That's pretty sad. My girlfriend's pork loin was so thin and horribly overcooked, I thought it was chicken when it came out. It, too, was so hard, she spent 10 minutes trying to cut the first piece and just gave up on the rest. What a let down. Definitely won't be back if it's going to taste like that for what I paid!

Don't let this place fool you. I had the Greek salmon salad and it was incredible! The hubbs had the chicken gyros and he said the spices were amazing! We will be frequenting this place!

Fresh, flavorful and satisfyingly delicious Mediterranean food! We had dinner at Taziki's and were really happy with the price, the service, and the overall quality of the food. If there was one in Columbia, I'd be a regular! I got a plate of dolmades as my appetizer. The dolmades (aka "grape leaves") are unique at Taziki's and made slightly different than most Mediterranean places. Typically the leaves are stuffed w/onions, rice, zucchini, tomatoes, peppers and eggplant and are tightly woven together into small bite size wraps. At Taziki's they are made larger and are kind of messy to eat. The flavor is there though, if you don't mind a bit of food falling everywhere after each bite! My friend got a starter of their pimento cheese plate and it was fresh and you could tell by the texture of the dip that it was made in the kitchen and not out of a container. The size of the cheddar and the visible diced red peppers were giveaways to the preparation. I sampled some and found it to be very tasty. My entree was their tomato-basil sandwich. It sounded pretty simple and I was on the fence about getting it, but per rec of the deli gal, I went ahead and ordered one. She was right! The basil and tomatoes tasted like they were plucked right out of a vegetable garden in the kitchen's backyard (I'm guessing they have some kind of secret garden, it was that good!), and blended with the rich feta cheese, the sandwich just melted in my mouth after a bite. I absolutely loved it! You get to choose a side w/every entree, and I ended up getting their tomato-cucumber salad, another home-run! The dressing combined with that AMAZING feta cheese was just awesome. Though by the point of getting to my side dish, I was full, I couldn't helping cleaning it out. I hope Taziki's succeeds and grows and eventually opens more locations. Hint, hint, choose a site in Columbia! ;)

A great little joint with counter service. The food was freshly prepared and good tasting. I got the Salmon Greek Salad and was not disappointed. It was a nice sized salad with fresh greens and nice vine ripe tomatoes with the typical Greek toppings. The dressing could have been a bit more "something" it was kind of bland, but the generous portion of perfectly cooked FRESH salmon more that made up for it. It is some of the best salmon I have eaten in a casual counter service restaurant like this. My husband got the gyros and as there was none left, I will assume he enjoyed it!

Their gyros are fantastic! Especially the Chicken basil-pesto gyro. The hummus is great as well and the you can't go wrong with cucumber tomato salad side.

The lamb is absolutely delicious! The prices are affordable, too. When I lived in Charleston I would come here every week as a special treat and still make a special stop when I'm in Charleston. The hummus is great, too!

Everything here is good! My husband got the lamb gyro and normally he's very critical but he loved it so much that we came back twice during our 4 day stay. I also really enjoyed my chicken gryo and the Taziki dip with warm pita bread. If I ever end up in Charleston again, I'll definitely come back to Taziki's Cafe!

Went for lunch while visiting Charleston for the new year. Had a chicken gyro and family had the sirloin gyro and chicken too. Service was very good. You order at the counter and food is brought to your table. Everything was very good and will definitely return.

Best Mediterranean food in Charleston. I've never ate in the restaurant, but I've been inside. It's a very cool little building, kind of small, but a good size for lunch. The food is always a hit. You can get a huge plate of food for ~$10. I've used them multiple times for catering various sized events. There catering prices are very fair which is hard to come by in Charleston. All of the food is very fresh and full of flavor. The staff really friendly and REALLY fast. I recommend the Greek salad (so good!), lamb, grilled chicken roll ups (SOOOO GOOD!!!!), hummus Tips: perfect catering for a small or large event, quick lunch

Exceptionally fresh Mediterranean inspirations here, but not authentic Greek, if that's what you're looking for. But again....fresh! Although this is order-at-the-counter, the dining room is layed out beautifully, and takes advantage of King Street frontage, i.e. bar-style seating along the street side. Hello, free entertainment (if you're a ppl watcher). Pricing: OMG, seriously? This is really good fare for not a lot of clambs! My guess is...this is introductory pricing, or something. But there is no place in this Holy City where one can attain an app for just over three bucks! Menu, 2011: Dolmades (three giant rice & probably chick-pea & special herbs $3.50. What? And speaking of the dolmades, that's a nice segue into the food. The Dolmades were fired somewhere in the back coming out fabulously roasted. Stuffed with a delectible rice mixture, this great dish is on its way to being amazing with a little tweeking. The app was slightly dry and over-salted. These things are easily corrected to make an exceptional dish. For the price of lunch, we tried out the Grilled Chicken Breast Salad and the Grilled Lamb Gyro as dinner items, and there was almost too much food. You won't leave here feeling half-full. The chicken on fresh greens was perfectly cooked, the lamb in the gyro was sliced, not pressed gyro meat as would be typical. Yet another good, new spot on King Street. With few things needed to improve, this little spot is unbelievably affordable and hits the healthier side of the palate.

That was exactly what I needed, a Greek salad with grilled chicken. Calamata olives, roasted red peppers, light vinaigrette and fresh brewed tea have a way of making everything better. They did a good job of helping me avoid cheese and onions. And they have about 15 locations so I hope I see one again soon.

  • Steve M.

My wife and I really loved this place. Was a nice break after walking around Charleston all morning. We enjoyed the food and the rest. The portions are HUGE and the grilled chicken was awesome. Stuffed grape leaves were odd - rather than rice and lamb, they were stuffed with a yellow rice mixture. Good but, not what I expected.

    (5)
  • Martha G.

Try the taziki! The cukes are shredded not diced and it is nicely seasoned. The grilled chicken gyros are tasty, the tomato-cucumber salad is refreshing and zippy. It's silly that they serve standard crinkle chips with the gyros but I just ignored them. This was a nice find on king street for a laid back, inexpensive lunch.

I love Taziki's! I always get the Greek salad pita, but what really keeps me coming back is the pasta salad side. The portions are really nice and it's fun to sit by the window and people watch on King Street. The staff has always been friendly and checks on guests/clears things off the table.

On a recent trip to Charleston, we stopped here for an early dinner. It wasn't as busy as some other places so our service was prompt and the food was great. The dolmades aren't traditional and do fall apart easily, not sure why they do them this way... but otherwise, my husband and I had gyro platters are were not disappointed.

Great food, fast service. Best gyro and tzatziki I've had, aside from my homemade versions! Quality, fresh ingredients. Small, but good selection of craft beers as well. Loved them!

Enjoyed my meal here. Was kind of thrown off by their grape leaves because they were a different flavor from what im used to but still thought they were good. Service was pretty quick and the price is great for the huge portions. Their hummus was tasty. I wish they would have had tabouleh because its my favorite, but the cucumber/tomato salad they had was still nice and fresh. As a group we shared the cheese appetizer and all really enjoyed it, so if your with a group that may be a good item to start things off with.

Not really authentic Greek but still damn good. Lamb gyro was great--real grilled lamb, not the greasy sliced crap that so many restaurants use. Fresh lettuce and tomato. Red potato's were pretty amazing. Lunch for 2 for under twenty bucks. Will be back to try other items.

Stopped in for lunch on a hot day, and enjoyed the Mediterranean salad, some chicken and a hummus plate. Friendly and efficient service.

Taziki's is great! All of the food tasted fresh, the servers were very kind, and the prices are pretty good for a college student. I would recommend coming in for lunch any day!

We had dinner at Taziki and enjoyed it.. It has somewhat of a fast-food format--you order at the cashier, they bring plates to your table, but the quality was excellent Overall food quality was high. Tomato/cucumber salad was one of the side choices that comes with gyros and main plates. It was outstanding--fresh ingredients with enough seasoning to bring out the taste of the tomato and cucumber. Healthy serving of feta over the salad. The lamb gyro was very good. They don't use the prefab ground gyro meat that is almost universal in fast food places. They use roasted and grilled meats or veggies. The portion size was fair. Also tasted the dolmathes, which were also made in house with a spicy rice filling. The tzatziki sauce was tasty and refreshing.

I'm not Greek so I'm not going to pretend that this place is the do all end all of Greek cuisine in Charleston but that's not really what they're aiming for. They do good, cheap, fresh, healthy lunch at a reasonable price. I got the chargrilled lamb plate and it was tasty and not over-seasoned at $12 including tax and a drink. The lamb was perfectly medium rare (as lamb should always be) and the skordalia sauce was garlicky without giving me horrible breath afterward. The Greek salad wasn't exactly traditional but my goodness was it tasty. Gone in 60 seconds is a movie about stealing cars and also a phrase to describe where my salad went. They are a healthy beacon amidst bleak, unhealthy King Street lunch offerings. I would definitely go back.

Had a great experience at Taziki's. We showed up a few minutes before it was supposed to open but the manager saw us standing outside and let us right in. Of course I reward them by dropping my fountain soda on the ground, which they cleaned up without even letting me help. The food was really good; my lamb gyro was on-point. A great spot for a quick lunch and the friendly staff puts it over the top.

Neat and quaint Mediterranean place that has awesome food for relatively decent prices. Clean and friendly atmosphere. I believe the food is more Greek than it is Mediterranean. I had the Tomato-Basil sandwich with chips and tomato cucumber salad. It was excellent and I look forward to trying several other pieces from their menu.

I really liked Taziki's when it first opened. I would get a gyro there about once a week. I went in this past week, and it seems to me that the quality has fallen drastically. The grilled lamb was tough and cold, as if it had been cooked long in advance and was sitting around for a while. As sad as it is to say, "Eat a Pita" is better than this place now. I noticed that Taziki's has also raised their prices recently, so it is now at least 80% more expensive than comparable restaurants. Go somewhere else!

Outstanding chicken gyro for lunch today at Taziki's - this place has a great concept: excellent food & service and a handy location on King Street in downtown Charleston. I highly recommend this place - and I've heard their to go / catering options are great also.

This is a great, fast, Mediterranean restaurant! Ive never had a bad experience there. The food is always fresh and hot. One time I went and ordered out and they didn't have a side I wanted so for my "inconvenience" they gave me a piece of baclava! It's a great location right in the heart of charleston. The only problem is it isn't on the Off Campus Meal Plan card but other wise it's perfect!

TAZIKI'S was recommended to us & since we enjoy trying new spots, we decided to give it a try. We were very impressed. We enjoyed the taziki and dolmathes apps. The lamb plate was delicious, as was my husband's chicken gyro. Everything tasted so fresh. I grew up eating Med food & am pretty critical about it. TAZIKI'S did not disappoint. I can't wait to go back.
