Very good burgers on half price Tuesdays. They are very filling. The chips included with the burgers with cheese dip are also good. Lots of TV's in the place, which are tuned to the most popular sporting events. Fits the bill as good neighborhood bar.

Went on Wed to see Ben Fagan & The Holy City Hooligans. Great reggaeish band! The atmosphere was welcoming & friendly. They had a delicious looking special that included green bean casserole but the kitchen was only offering the late night bar menu when I arrived. The drinks that I tried were all good including: jack & coke, fireball shot & wheat beers. I had the BAILEYS CREME BRULE & I must say it was pretty yummy although it was a little eggy. I dislike coffee so it was a great alternative to the normal creme brule. Service was great & the staff was all very beautiful. There were also many beautiful girls there. Their clientele seemed more attractive then average. Conclusion: Check out there food before late night then come again to watch some great music with good energy, get some good drinks, and enjoy some unique desert with beautiful ladies.

This place has poor service and food. I waited 10 min before someone came to our table. We ordered drinks and waited 20 minutes before it got to us.I timed it. It looked like 2 people were working the floor. The food was terrible. The chicken dip was cold and chips were stale. The blue chesse chips were cold and blue cheese was not melted. There are better places to spend my money.....The Roost,.genes etc....

I have always had great food and service at this restaurant, but recently had an experience that left a poor taste in my mouth. I was having lunch with a friend, who ordered the fish and chips, while I had a wrap. Problem was fish came out more like sushi not the way it should. Told waitress, NOTHING HAPPENED! Fish not eaten after the first bite, and yet paid for the full price and did not receive cooked food. I left feeling both disgusted and disappointed. When I called to inquire, was told that the waitress was just then informing the management of the issue. Was I offered a partial refund for the food not eaten? Nope, I was offered a comp meal ~ the next time I came in. Why would I return, when I cannot trust the food coming out of the kitchen which this time left my lunch companion sick?

Decided to give this place a try because I heard they had a burger that rivaled the Tell Tale Heart at Poe's. Sure enough, the Brunch Burger did not disappoint, came out hot with a fried egg, bacon and cheese and was as juicy as it was delicious. A friend had the lazy bulldog and was equally impressed. The burgers are huge and served with a side, we chose the fried which were seasoned and pretty good. Only downside to this meal was the service, I think there was only one server on so cant really fault her for that, but we were in a bit of a hurry so it was frustrating. If Im on JI Id probably try this place again, but if Im in Mt P or downtown, its gotta be Poes.

I've had fun in there drinking, however last meal my salad was brown and the chicken wings were like biting into a tortilla chip. Pretty sure they sat under the heat lamp for hours. I left hungry and grossed out.

Enjoyed the feel of the restaurant/bar. Had some great drinks. The band that was playing was OK, I couldn't understand them at all and the music was so loud I felt like I was screaming when I was talking with my friend. We also ordered some appetizers that where less then good. We ordered the nachos which had no seasoning on the ground beef. The lack of flavor killed the whole plate. The only reason we finished them was because we were really hungry. We also got some wings and they were average wings nothing to write home about. All in all, next time ill just make the drive to go to Molly Darcy's downtown when I want to go to an Irish Pub.

This was the second time I've been here for lunch. This tiime I tried their Shepard's Pie. It was very good. Not too much mashed potatoes and very flavorful. I would have hoped for more meat in the pie but that will not stop me from ordering it again. I also had a sweet tooth, so ordered their chocolate cake. It as very good, not too sweet but very chocolatey. First time I was here was shortly after St. Patricks day and I had a hankerin' for some Corned beef and cabbage. They didn't have that, but did have a special corned beef hash with an egg. This was actually very tasty and filling.

We have gone here twice now just for a drink and they always seem to have good drink specials. This time we had 2$ mimosas, can't beat it. Sort of sports bar meets Irish pub. Not sure about food here. Come to think of it I've never seen anyone eating here, so I guess I'll have to do that next time and let you know.

Obrions Pub is a good local strip mall hang out bar. With televisions, outdoor seating for those smokers or enjoying a warm evening, live music during the week and weekends and decent bar food, it serves all the value a pub needs to serve. With a chalk board on the sidewalk highlighting daily specials, you have a good idea of what the offerings are before you walk in. The bar is long for this restaurant if you just want a beer and a game to watch. Overall, it is a nice local James Island hangout to spend a few hours or get a drink before you head to Publix for groceries.

I love how restaurants don't have to be in their own big fancy business to be a great spot. I've driven past Obrions countless times and never noticed it until I was invited to join some friends for music trivia. Tuesday nights are half off burgers and music trivia nights, I tried the ranch burger this time, which had bacon, onion straws, cheese, ranch, and grilled scallions. I've never thought to put grilled scallions on a burger, but it turned out to be pretty delicious. The bacon braised cabbage really wasn't anything special, but the burger was good enough to bring me back. The other burgers on the menu looked pretty awesome as well, so I look forward to trying some more. The service here can be hit or miss. To put it in the words of my trivia partner on my first visit, "Our waitress had the personality of a stick." She kept our drinks coming, but we didn't see a single smile until we asked for the bill. Other times, service was fine. If the service was more on point, I'd add a star. Regardless, the burger was good, and music trivia was a blast.

Home of liquor-less cocktails and irritable service. Also, for $7 you can get dry fried chicken bits in a puddle of grease sans anything else, like mine in the picture. Wouldn't waste the time or money to eat here, but the live music is usually good, and you can't go wrong with a bottled beer.

If you want a stiff drink it's a good place to go but the food is terrible. Simple fried food taste pretty horrible. Server was nice though. Pretty good service.
