Those folks that run this place are getto as hell, horrible customer service and it seemed to me they were giving food away to there kin folk coming in.. I was waiting in line and other people were cutting in line in front of me and were just getting what they wanted and went out the door. The inside looks nice but there again the people running the place at that time of the evening were GETTO AS HELL...!!

If I could give no stars I would. The service is horrible drive thru or in the restaurant. I have been going to McDonald's for years now all over the place this by far is the worst one ever. I go here only because I need something quick and easy not to mention the only close one to me. Well the past 4 times my simple order of a number 4 no pickles or onions has been wrong. Even when the ticket on the box clearly states no pickles or onions. But over the past 6 years that I have lived here I would say that only 10 percent of my orders have been fine. Hope someone with power reads this and gets on the ball because I know a good many people feel the same way.

Horrible!!! Unless you know the cashier, be ready to wait for an hour. Horrible service!
(1)Callie C.
This is the worst McDonalds ever! 2:30 in the morning and we have waited 30 minutes in the drive thru! Wish I would have checked yelp before getting in line!

I agree with the other reviews posted here. The drive-through line is ridiculously slow. The food quality also seems somehow generally lower than other McDonald's that I've been too. Staff seem incredibly lackadaisical seem to have no interest in their jobs or customer service.

I concur with the previous reviews. The drive-thru speed was unbearably slower than other McDonalds. Ice cream machine was also down so I couldn't get the McFlurry. The order taker didn't let me finish my order at the speaker box and asked me to finish at the 2nd window. Didn't make sense to me. Ordering at the window only compounds the speed problem, yet they were encouraging this. Then I found out at the window (after waiting 15 minutes) that they were out of blueberry pomegranate flavor smoothie, after I paid, rather than telling me up front at the speaker box. Seems like they are structured and set up for the slowest and worst service in the chain. Godspeed McDonald's at Spring.

Normally I would never bother to write a review for a place like McDonald's, because it's a huge chain and for the most part the "seen one, seen 'em all" holds true. But this is honestly the worst McDonald's I've ever been to and if this review saves even one person the nightmare of trying to go through the drive-thru here, I guess it's worth it. I've tried to go here on several occasions because it's conveniently located right here downtown. A couple times I've swung by for breakfast before going golfing. Several other times I've come by in the evening or late night. EVERY time I have been here, the drive thru has been ridiculously slow and it was NOT busy at all any of the times I went. One time I was told to pull over to the side and wait for them to walk my order out to me and I waited 25 minutes before going in to ask what happened. They had forgotten about the order. Another time I was told to hold on a second by the drive thru operator and then waited about 20 minutes with no response before I just gave up and drove away. Other times I ordered and ended up waiting nearly 30 minutes in a drive thru line...again, it was not busy. We're talking 3 or 4 cars here. I've been to a lot of McDonalds locations in my life and this one is honestly so miserably inefficient that I would expect their franchise rights to be pulled if somebody from corporate stopped in and experienced how bad their service is. My advice for whoever owns this place would be fire every single person who works for you. They're not earning what you're paying them, even if you're paying them minimum wage. There's nothing like pulling up to the window after waiting for 25 minutes behind 1 or 2 cars to find all of the employees standing around in a circle laughing and doing nothing while customers are waiting longer for their drive thru burgers and fries than they wait for their entrees at a sit down restaurant. This place is why Yelp needs to have a 0 star rating.

This McDonald's employs the most incompetent and unprofessional staff I have ever experienced at a restaurant. As I gave up waiting in line at the drive through for someone to take my order (there were also 5 other cars waiting with nobody ordering) and went inside to order. I found the staff standing around doing nothing but laughing and joking around with each other. Some were even out in the dining area just hanging out with who I assumed were their friends. And to top it off, the smell of mildew coming from the fountain drink area made me decide to throw away my soda rather than risk drinking it. With all of the other negative reviews on here, I would hope that the management would do something about the deplorable quality of this restaurant.

Worst service in any McDonald I have been through. 15 minutes to get through the drive/thrue.
(1)Clifton M.
The worst experience I've ever had at a McDonalds. Even though there were only 2 people ahead of me, after placing my order, it was 15-20 minutes before I received it. However, after checking the bag, I did not have fries. After asking for them, they gave me my order again, without the fries again. I then had to wait another 5 minutes to get them, and did not even receive an apology. I noticed the workers in the back were goofing off and not being serious when there was a line of other people developing who were also upset.
(1)Lindsay A.
Do not go here! This is the WORST McDonald's I have ever been to! I have been through the drive thru several times and had to wait over 15 minutes every time! Once I was given the wrong order even after the person at the window verified it because people got so sick of waiting they left after ordering. Once I went through late at night and they were only answering one speaker at their double drive thru even though both were lit up. They should have a sign if only one is open after a certain time. They also are always saying they are out of things. Once they said they were out of Sprite! Please. Either they were too lazy to walk around and get it out if the other soda fountain in the seating area or they don't know how to change they syrup cartridge. Either is inexcusable. It is on my way home from work but I will now drive out of my way to go to the James Island location instead.
(1)Patrick M.
Slowest Mcdonalds ever. Seriously 15 minutes in the drive-thru every time. Zero stars.
