The ordering experience was not great. Online ordering would not accept my address. When I called, there was a lot of confusion over the order. It was for a meal deal on the site and the person taking the order seemed as though she had no clue what we were talking about. After finally getting through the process, the order came out $3 more than it was on the site but whatever. BUT Marco's was redeemed - the pizza arrived in about 25 minutes which was a pleasant surprise on a Friday night. Everything was exactly as ordered (which I was looking for after the phone call) and tasted great! The pizza and breadsticks were hot and absolutely delicious. We will order from here again (and hopefully the website will be fixed)!

Based on food, customer service and overall experience, five stars. This place isn't fancy pants, it's a clean, fast casual pizza joint that is mostly pizza delivery attached to a gas station. limited seating as the majority of business seems to be take out or delivery. Pizza has a thicker crust, not deep dish, with great flavor and crispy edges. They don't skimp on topping and none of the meat is spicy or greasy. Just good fresh toppings. I haven't tried the sub yet, but that's on my list. Also threw in the cinnamon squares last minutes, took 10 minutes to wait while they baked them fresh. Love that they were actually just baked, like our pizza. Great dessert ending to the meal.

I thought this would be a comparison to Papa John's or Pizza Hut so I was a little saddened when my order was over $20 even with an $8 off coupon. It then proceeded to be the best pizza we've had in Charleston so far. I try to give specific details in these reviews but I just can't. It was just like every bite we took (the wife and I) we would be amazed that it was as flavorful and delicious as it was. Then we'd look at each other and nod 'yes' with our mouths full. I don't know why it was so good, I don't know what the other places are doing wrong, all I know is we loved it. Delivery was on time, order was correct, this will definitely become our eat-in choice.

This rating is for DAMN good Customer service! Mark is a fantastic manager. We ordered pizza that took over an hour to arrive. When the delivery guy came to my door, he was visibly shook up, as a previous customer had been exceedingly rude to him. I gave him a larger tip than usual, to brighten his evening. Fast forward 3 days later, Mark calls me personally to ask how my pizza was, as he felt bad that it was so late the other night! I have NEVER had this kind of follow-up from ANY business, let alone a pizza joint! I highly recommmend Marcos in West Ashley to EVERYONE! - Veronica

For what it is and comparing it to similar establishments, Marco's Pizza is excellent. Is it the best pizza ever? No. Most innovative and creative? No. However, the quality of pizza you get for what you pay is exceptional. We've ordered delivery several times and our pizzas always came on time, were hot, and were just what we ordered. The online ordering is easy. I've also done a few pick-up orders and the staff is always nice. Orders are ready quickly without a wait and everyone is pleasant. The inside area is fairly small but has a few booths and tables and it's clean. It's no frills, but at least there's a place to eat, unlike most pizza chains in this area which are takeout/delivery only. Marco's isn't gourmet pizza. It's a chain. But if you need pizzas for a party, sleepover, or a quick lunch, it's excellent. You can't beat their online deals and coupons.

Best pizza? Maybe. Wife and I went there coupon in hand. Ordered thin crust pizza, 1/2 with anchovies. Pizza is great, go for the thin crust. Do not get the anchovies, too salty. Salads seem to be crisp and fresh. Worth a trip or home order. Prices are good, better with coupons. You can't get better pizza for the $$ in this area. Frank G

Overpriced and under delivered. Cost almost $29 for me to get two medium pizzas for carry out. I ordered a cheese pizza and a veggie pizza. Extremely disappointed in the lack of flavor but specifically that they used canned mushrooms on the veggie pizza. At that price I would expect all fresh vegetables and some seasoning.

First and probably last place we'll eat pizza in Charleston. It was flat out fantastic. A little pricier than chain places, but you get what you pay for... Well worth it! The sausage on the meat lovers was HUGE and bursting with flavor. Eat here, or don't... More for me!

Marco's is a chain restaurant that seems to be adequate if you just want to feed the kids. The crust is horrible and the other ingredients are okay, but I won't recommend Marco's to anyone.

I ordered from them for the first time in Sunday and everything was delicious! I had the garden pizza and cheesy bread sticks. I ordered online and received a call when my driver was on her way. Apparently my delivery took longer than they would have liked and today I received a phone call from a manager that apologized and gave me a store credit! My order still arrived hot so I didn't make an issue of it. Great customer service, I would order again even without the credit!

They say they're authentic Italian but there's no way they are. We ordered a meatball pizza and the pizza was dry, the crust was way too thick and the meatballs were definitely not hand made. I won't recommend ordering from there. We sure won't be anymore.
