So we ere in town last week after spending a few days in Savannah and were totally stoked to find this Jersey's Mikes. Yes, the food in the South is, for the most part, rich and delicious but it was heavy after awhile and we wanted to eat something lighter. Boom! We found this JM's and what a treat! It is pretty much set up like all other JM's, just like ours here in San Diego, but what sets them apart from every other sub shop around, especially Subway, is that they slice all the meat for your sandwich RIGHT ON THE SPOT. There are no premade, wax paper slices with meat sitting in a small box. The bread was very soft and the fixing's are sparse...not a lot of bells and whistles here. They also add their own JM's dressing and oregano dry mixture to your sandwich so make sure to let them know whether you want it or not. The young men that were working there that evening were friendly, customer service oriented and helpful. One thing really stands out in my mind and I will share that here. I grew up in the restaurant business so I know my way around the kitchen and a big meat slicer. As one of the young men was getting ready to slice our meat, he noticed that there were some dried up pieces of something on the slicer. Before he began to cut our meat, he took a wet rag and wiped everything down very well. Didn't make a big deal out of it but that's why this place rates 5 stars...they seem to truly care about their customers and their shop. Keep up the good work dudes...you guys rocked it!

Went to this store instead of the James Island one. Was greeted nicely and the place was super clean! Sandwich was made just right and of course the price was right. I really like the experience. I know its just a sub shop but I do want to be treated right and I want my food done the way I ask for. They did it here.

First time trying this place and was pretty satisfied. We got the Italian and the club sub, everything tasted fresh and was impressed they slice their meat right in front of us. Customer service was very friendly and he worked fast to get our order out. As much as I enjoyed the subs, in my own opinion, I believe they are a tad bit pricey for a sub franchise that's pretty basic on the menu. I do recommend this place though, and will be going back!

Love the chicken Philly with extra onions and peppers add lettuce and tomato. It's a quick delicious meal on the go. Now that I am gluten free I am very happy that they have a Sub in a Tub option to cater to those who are GF like me.

Personally, I think Jersey Mike's does the best cold sub in town. I usually go for the Italian. They go a little heavy on the oil and vinegar, so I just ask them to hold back a bit. Great fresh bread and meats/cheeses sliced while you wait.
