Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

Best Chinese food I've had. I always get carryout, haven't tried their delivery service yet. The seating area could use some updating but the food is excellent so that makes up for it.

This is most definitely my go to when it comes to ordering Chinese take out. Good food Good prices. I haven't had anything bad yet. I usually order chicken lo mein, crab rangoons, house fried rice, egg rolls, chow mein, egg drop soup beef and broccoli and chiken and broccoli or pork and broccoli dish (some combination of). We have not been disappointed. I wish the crab rangoons were a bit cruchier but the egg rolls are cruchy and typical and rangoons probably don't have much crab but you get 10 for $5 so not really a bad deal they are still tasty. They are fast too. Solid fast Chinese take out place her in Charleston.

First timer, had the kung paiou chickencombo. Started with the egg roll, underwhelming and a bit over cooked. The entree though was fantastic, stacked with fresh veggies and the peanuts weren't soppy like normally done with this dish if added early. Best kung paiou I've had. Pork fried rice was decent and mixed well with the sauce.

Quick and easy hole-in-the-wall Chinese takeout. Never had to wait longer than the estimated wait time and have never gotten a wrong, cold, or bad order. If you need some decent asian takeout in West Ashley, this is your ace in the hole.

Not the best Chinese takeout I've ever had, but it's by far the best we have had in Charleston thus far! Fried rice was really good, so was the moo shu pork. We will be ordering from them again next time we want Chinese. Portions are pretty large. We ordered the large size fried rice, moo shu, beef with broccoli, and sesame chicken for two people (yeah we way over-ordered) and had lots of leftovers for lunches.

Best place in West Ashley! We have been going there for years! It's so hard to find a place that doesn't have yellow fried rice or rice with carrots and peas...honk kong does have either of these!! So it's my kind of Chinese food! Always very good no matter what we get!

Food was very good! We ordered General Tso's chicken, orange chicken, broccoli chicken and sweet & sour chicken lunches. It came with rice and egg roll. I didn't care for the egg roll, but Minot big on them Overall, very good for take-out. I'd go back.

Good food, good sized portions....Simple don't let the hand written signs fool you its better than it looks. Not much for sit in type eating more of a take out spot....
