Restaurant: Some of the best food I've had. Period. Jeannie creates some amazing dishes. She puts her heart and soul into the food she makes, and you'll know that the moment you taste it. The portions are large. Did I say large? I meant HUGE. The Turkey Club is the best I've ever had; and it's enough for 2 people, or one enormously hungry person. Fresh vegetables, high quality meats... You just can't beat it. I haven't had a bad experience there. Everything I've ordered has been exactly what I hoped it would be. Nothing too fancy, or overly simplified. Prices are reasonable once you see the portions. Most things are made from scratch, and that matters. Catering: I am having Foodies cater my upcoming wedding because the Tastings that they put on are amazing, and Jeannie can make almost anything you could imagine. Jeannie has a belief that: You must taste the EXACT food you'll have at your wedding. She delivers on that when you have your tasting. Excellent food, exactly prepared how it will be on the day of your wedding, and the portions will leave no one hungry. If you make changes to the menu, she makes new versions of the food and has you taste those as well.

Foodies is kind of a home away from home because the food they make is convenient and fast (like getting food from your own kitchen), but also made as you order (as if you were cooking a fresh meal at home). I've been back several times and have only had a slight miss with the macaroni and cheese, but to be honest, I was ordering it when it wasn't on the specials menu for the day, so the owner went out of her way to prepare it for me, which was much appreciated. I would recommend their buttermilk fried chicken sandwich (seriously good) and their fried chicken fingers/tenders. They really do it well, and I've never had to experience under-cooked meat, which is super important to me. Please visit this place if you're in West Ashley and want to experience good comfort food.

I finally got to try Foodies the other day and it was so so... I love that they had a drive thru but the wait was a little too long. I order the turkey club and man oh man was that a sandwich!! I wish they didn't add the 3rd piece of bread because it was really hard to eat. Good flavor though and the fries were delicious!!! Just the right amount of salt and I also tried the pasta salad which was average. I will definitely be back to try something else.

Stopped by today and picked up the Chicken Divan, took it home for dinner. It was absolutely Devine! Will definitely be trying other things on the menu. Requested Chicken Pot Pie. New place, so I'm sure it will mature as time goes on. Menu is breakfast all day, salads of all sorta, sandwiches, panini, tacos-including fish and chicken, flat bread pizzas. Looking forward to supporting a local business.

After my friend, my daughter and I went for a jog on the West Ashley Greenway, we headed over to this spot for breakfast. Why else burn calories if the intent isn't to replenish?!? I enjoy trying new spots and all the reviews convinced me to give it a go. We almost missed out because the "open" sign wasn't on and the door didn't open. The door sticks!! So pull hard! Thankfully we were stopped as we were walking away! We got to try a sample of the pimento cheese which I LOVED. Mmmmm very, very good. We also tried the french toast, the farmer's omelet with breakfast potatoes, and pancakes. Everything was good to excellent!! Man those breakfast potatoes are insane... crispy, salty deliciousness. Some places serve up mediocre to average breakfast potatoes... these?? Crispy outside, soft inside, flecks of Kosher salt... mmmhmmm, good stuff. Everything ordered made it apparent that this spot focuses on quality ingredients with reasonable prices. They also went above and beyond to be proactive in providing good customer service. Our server knew my friend and I wanted to share the omelet and pancakes and when the food arrived, they had split both orders into two servings, saving us the trouble! AND since the breakfast potatoes were a minute behind the other items ordered, we got extra. Can't hate that! I'm really looking forward to returning to try out more of their menu! Breakfast was SPOT ON.

We tried Foodies for lunch today, and we really enjoyed it. I read lots of positive reviews of Foodies, both here on Yelp and also in various Facebook groups, mostly regarding the catering. When we pulled up to the building, I didn't have super high expectations because it's a little small- but, appearances are deceiving like that. I had the Mediterranean salad, which came with pita bread. The salad had goat cheese, pine nuts, roasted red peppers, olives, and artichokes. The goat cheese was very rich and creamy , and there was lots of it. The salad was filling and truly a meal. I left full, but not overly stuffed. The portions were pretty large as well. The owner who took our orders was very nice. While not a technology guru, he is using Facebook and a new website to promote daily specials and list the menu. There's also a nice case of baked goods as you walk in- pretty tempting, but we didn't try anything. We'll definitely be back to Foodies. From what I saw, they do a very large to-go business. They have a pick up window as well, so you can call your order in and pick it up later. Our gym is nearby so I can definitely see us placing an order, then swinging by to pick it up after a workout :).

My fiancee and I just had our tasting with Foodies this past week. All I can say is that the owner, Jeannie is the freakin bomb. I mean, for real. She did a complimentary tasting for my fiancee, myself and my maid of honor. We totally customized our menu and weren't stuck with a set menu. If there is something you want at your wedding, she will make it, whatever it is! Foodies is also VERY affordable. I really can't believe it. If you are planning a wedding, or any other event, please consider Foodies. You will NOT regret it.

Good lunch spot for sure. My wife and I grabbed some to go lunch yesterday and the lunch portions are huge and very tasty... Couple of let downs. They forgot the bacon on my turkey club (kinda of a big ingredient on a club) and the cupcake we shared for dessert was so dry it crumbled apart when we ate it. Lesson learned; I'll be back but will stick to the salads and sandwiches (being sure key ingredients are in my sandwich). 4 stars - (bacon/cupcake) = 3 stars

Not my first time here or review but I really want the word to get out. This place is great! Nice selection, fresh and well prepared. It's never crowded when we go and I even forget it's there sometimes. I think the building doesn't do well to represent how good it really is. Try it!

I had a chicken salad sandwich and French fries. It was delicious and fast. Didn't even have time to sit down. I have eaten there several times and have been satisfied every time.

I went to foodies for the first time and ordered the Greek salad with chicken. While the salad was mediocre, and a typical preperation, which is fine because that is what I excpected. My issue was that while waiting for my salad and sitting in the restaurant I couldn't get over the fact of how dirty it seemed inside. The CHEF came to the counter with a disgusting chef coat on that looked like he hadn't done laundry in months and there was an overwhelming smell of dirty grease. Being that I work in the f&b industry I am happy to support to local business but I would suggest cleaning up a bit and at least making sure your staff has presentable uniforms.

West Ashley newest gem! Yum, yum, yum! I cannot say enough about this little slice of heaven that just opened. They have been opened now for 3 weeks & I have eaten there 3 times already. They serve breakfast all day! Her French toast is amazing! My husband got the turkey club on our 1st visit & wow! That is a MAN size sandwich! Everything is so fresh tasting & the service is awesome. They do have a drive thru so you can call in your order & pick up on the way. Attention Moms: they do grab & Go dinners! Fresh homemade pastas, crab cakes, chicken divan, etc. I will certainly take advantage of this in a few weeks when my second child is born! Go tomorrow & eat at Foodies! You will love it.

Buttermilk fried chicken sandwich had a huge chicken breast on it! Tasted great! Wife loved the shrimp po bo and my son loved the bacon and pimento cheese sandwich. Great portion size for fair price.

The mushroom soup was exactly what I was looking for and the portions were ample. I'll be back!

This restaurant is awesome! I had a barbeque platter with red rice and macaroni cheese and it was amazing. The red rice was to die for. Great Southern cooking but also a selection of salads soups and sandwiches and breakfast served all day. This will definitely be my hang out. My friend got the fried green tomato BLT and it was huge. We needed a place like this West Ashley.

Tried this spot and am glad I did. Ordered Cobb salad, Greek salad, and the days special soup, okra and tomato. The lemon vinaigrette salad dressing was great and flavorful. The salads were big and yummy, but oh boy the soup was top notch! I will be happy to go back and try some other dishes

This place has been needed for a long time and we are so happy to have found them. Been there for lunch and breakfast this week and the food is excellent! For lunch had the roast beef panini and it was delicious. For breakfast had the French toast which was Devine and made with tasty challah bread. Also, had a fantastic egg sandwich made perfectly yummy. The owners are very nice and personable and willing to please. They even gave me extras for my little one. Wendy's two doors down is always packed - If people have any food sense they will try Foodies and discover what we found. Yum yum yum!
