Gotta say it, best chinese take out spot in Charleston. It's always the hole in the wall places that are the best and this is no exception. Veggies were super fresh. Service was great. Super fast, took exactly 12 minutes for the best Hot & Spicy Beef in Charleston. Wish it was super spicy though! Thumbs up!

Good prices, friendly service. Delivery arrived quickly. The food was decent but everything was really greasy. More greasy than normal. Maybe it was an off night because we have ordered from here in the past and it wasn't bad. It's convenient for delivery so I would try it again.

I am glad I read the Yelp reviews for this place or I would have never came within 25feet of this place! Talk about a gem in a dump. Like everyone else has said the place is in an eyesore, but produces some good take out chineese food. I had the wonton soup and house lo mein. For once, the meal was not super salty at all! The wonton soup contained big chunks of pork in the broth, that reminded me of a good japaneese onion broth you get before dinner. The lo mein was also excellent, again no over salting here! I also tried an egg roll and enjoyed it but the last bit was a little greasy, but that can be expected from deep fried anything. The egg roll had more pork in it than I have ever seen in any other take out chinnese place. I plan to start going here for my take out needs.

HIDDEN GEM!! While the restaurant is in a strip mall that is run down, empty (they are the only tenants) and completely disgusting- it is a hidden treasure! I went in with a friend, on a whim, one night. Boy am I glad we found this place! Their menu is large, cheap and the food is delicious. A combo meal- fried rice, your meal (protein/veggies) and an egg roll is $7.50/8 (depending on what you order) The food tastes fresh and the sauces that they use are simply incredible. They are super quick (I have only ever gone in to order, never tried their delivery since they are so close). I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great chinese food shop.

Don't get turned off by the nasty, deserted strip mall where it located . I almost didn't go in , but to my surprise the food was the best Chinese I've had in South Carolina . They used all white meat and fresh vegetables. And the prices are very reasonable .

We finally checked out Feng Lin last night. Feng Lin and Pizza Hut are the only tenents left in the rather sad looking strip mall near our house. I got chicken moo goo gai pan, kung pao chicken, beef broccoli, and egg rolls. Everything was great! All the dishes had loads of fresh veggies and the portions were very big for the price. I was really impressed with the egg rolls. Sometimes you get them and they are small and have nothing but minced carrot and cabbage. These ones were full of minced roast pork as well as the standard veggies. Plus, they were humonguous! The staff was extremely friendly. It wasn't the best Chinese food I've ever had, but it's really tasty, convenient, and cheap.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
