Greek food is a fine melody of the finest pressed olive oil, fresh fermented bread, colorful vegetables, juicy meat, sea food all cooked in spices and fresh rosemary. The people from Greek were great scholars who aimed to excel in everything they do. The results are quite visible in their food as they are the inventors of olive oil which is beneficial to health. Greeks also made different type of wines from the best quality of grapes fermented in controlled environment.

Good old fashioned greasy spoon restaurant. Good food, good price, decent service. If you pull up to the Southside expecting a 5 star restaurant experience, you are an idiot.

I've been here twice and had fast friendly service both time. Today I arrived at 5pm and ordered the steak tips& peppers on their lunch special with baked potato salad & tea for around $8. Salad was fresh not wilted, the baked potato was a nice size dinner potato not one of those puny excuses for a potato some places offer, and it was perfectly cooked. Soft warm and moist on the inside. And my steak tips were served within 15 min of my order and tender and tasty I didn't even need sauce. I would say that anyone can have a bad day, and suggest you give them a try, if you're not looking for something fancy. They are a diner after all

I've driven by so many times and finally popped in for lunch today. It's got a nice old-school diner/meat-and-three type of atmosphere. The waitress was friendly, the food came to our table quickly and piping hot, and I don't think my sweet tea ever dropped below half full. This isn't a gourmet spot and food snobs may not enjoy, but I think it's a great example of what it is, a friendly spot to get some good country cooking for a good price. I settled on the meatloaf special of the day and a selection of vegetables, but there were several other items that interested me on the menu, I will be back!

I saw this place during a lunch break and decided I'd try it out. You never know... some of those local places are the best! However, this place was NOT the best. It was the most disgusting food I've ever been served. I ordered the country fried steak with broccoli casserole, spiced apples and macaroni and cheese. The mac and cheese was edible enough. The "steak" was not fried at all and the spiced apples were cold. I've had frozen dinners better than this. It was totally disgusting. They also still allow people to smoke in the restaurant. There were people laughing loudly and yelling back and forth to each other near the counter and don't forget the country music blaring on the tv in the corner. I will never go back to the "restaurant" again.

Authentic country cooking. A good honest hamburger and an excellent Mediterranean salad. Local flavor in abundance!! All you can eat spaghetti on Fridays is always good. Not fancy or fussy, more of a local dive in a down home way. Think truck stop diner with folks with lots of character and heavy on the working class. Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

While I wasn't especially blown away by the food, I didn't see anything being served to the patrons that came across as 'disgusting'. I also didn't find any problems with the ambient level of noise. There was a TV on, but it was turned to one of those Judge shows and on mute. There was no music going. I went with 5 other co-workers today to check out their Friday special, the AYCE spaghetti. Considering there were 3 waitresses handling 5 occupied booths, I thought the service was a little slow. Actually, it wasn't the waitresses that were slow, it was the kitchen. We put our orders in and it took a while for our food to arrive, which normally isn't an issue, but when you feature an AYCE dish as your lunch special then I would expect that you have enough prepared ahead of time to keep the orders coming. 3 of the 4 of us that ordered spaghetti got ours at the same time, but the 4th had been waiting approximately 23 minutes before his plate arrived. When they finally brought his out I had just finished my first plate and ordered a second; it took 13 minutes to get delivered. Spaghetti eaters 2 & 3 got their 2nd plates ordered and delivered, but poor number 4... The guy that waited 23 minutes for his first plate? When he ordered his 2nd plate he waited 10 or 12 minutes before they came out to inform him that they ran out of noodles and had to make more. 10-12 *more* minutes passed, and the waitress came out to say they were still waiting on them, but we were out of time and he had to leave hungry. We were there more than an hour, about 75 minutes, and he only got one plate. I don't know if this is by design/intentional (to keep the number of out-going servings down), or not. Thinking back on this I'm changing my 3-star rating (the food itself was just ok; edible, but bland/boring) to 2.
