Great food, great flavor. One of the best bbq places in SC. Don't go without trying the hash. The prices are great, I always leave satisfied.

My uncle made the best hash I've ever had. Midway's hash is the closest I've found to his. Really good! The original sauced BBQ was also very good. We will definitely go back.

Can't come thru Union without stopping here. This is the way hash was meant to be eaten! And the prices won't hurt at all. So good and highly recommended.

I have never had a bad dish ever from Midway until yesterday. I placed and order (as I have for years) for Midway's Macaroni & cheese and dressing to go along with our family's Thanksgiving Dinner. I found that the macaroni & cheese was not good at all. The noodles were mushy and it took 1 hour 30 minutes for the liquid to cook off of the dish in a 400 degree oven. This is not good. It makes you wonder if Midway is starting to slip when it comes to the quality of their products.

I've enjoyed food from Midway for all of my life. Since I was born in Union, it was always understood that Hash was something special, and if you really want to taste true Hash, there is only one place. Midway BBQ. Years ago, there were a group of men who would cook Hash all night long and then sell the pints and quarts early the next morning at Union Academy. In fact, you can still find notices in the local paper when someone is cooking Hash. However, Midway is ALWAYS cooking Hash and it is ALWAYS FANTASTIC! Got a cold? Midway has a cure. NO KIDDING. They have the most delicious Chicken Stew, and if you have a cold, you got to get the "Big 'Un" and eat it all. They always have plenty of crackers for you and there are always pickles on the side to make it feel like home! Country Cooking for lunch plates every weekday, and they serve it up fresh and delicious until it's gone! I live in California, because my wife is in the Army and we are stationed at Fort Irwin right now, if I could teleport myself home to Union County to get some Hash and BBQ from Jay and the Gang I would. If you are ever in Buffalo outside Union, or close to their second location in Gaffney, you MUST stop by Midway BBQ, you'll never forget it and you won't ever find anything as good ever again!!!! By the way, if you happen to spot Mr. Jack O'Dell, shake his hand and thank him for all the great food and the many years of full stomachs and naps in the recliner. Midway is a proud tradition that will continue for many years to come. God Bless Midway. Stop by and see 'em! Tell 'em Erik Cudd said Hi!

Holey Moly!!!! Chicken BBQ sandwhich is 2.50! I wanted to buy 10 and put in the freezer to take back to California with me. The world's best BBQ ever! Slaw is great and the sweet tea...momma If your in South Carolina please try it or make a special trip to enjoy the best BBQ.

I love the barbeque here! The meat is so fresh but the smell of the place lingers on your clothes for a long time after you leave. I hate going in to pick the food up by myself because the smell makes me nauseous, but when my husband goes in to get it and bring it home, it's always really good.

I would like to write a review but, they were closed @ 7:30 pm on a Saturday night! The restaurant across the street, Andy's Of Buffalo, was very pleasant and the meats, vegetables, & desserts were excellent! Our waitress @ Andy's stated that they had noticed that Midway BBQ had been closing earlier a lot. I hope to have the chance to eat here some day.
