Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

They have a second location on Lady's Island (about a mile from Publix) - this review if for that restaurant as we have not eaten at the main one. We picked up pizza during a vacation at Fripp and this is easily the best pizza option locally. Very good thin crust pizza, wolfed down by the entire family. The restaurant was clean and the staff very friendly. It's a little off the beaten path but worth it if you don't mind eating off Bay Street or are already making the drive into town.

The guys who are working there are very opening people however the wings and pizza I ordered were so over cooked that my jaw was popping with each bit. I have been there before and the food was great it is disappointing that they have dropped their standards. I know they have it in them to do great things.

We came from Yamassee and it was a little drive. When we finally got there, we were surprised by the location. The Habersham Marketplace. What a neat part of town. This pizza place has 3 tables inside and quite a few outside. If you come on a rainy day you probably need to get your pizza to go. Our pizza was middle of the road pizza. Don't get me wrong, it was good, but I have had better. This pizza was a little to greasy. I would probably come back if it was convenient, but it's not.

Omg, I'm not a huge fan of pizza, and so I always kinda chose all the other places in town till some of my friends made me go to Piace's. Then I tried their sandwiches and it was a life-changer. It looks like a regular sandwich on a hoagie roll... but its not... it's like heaven on a bun, and there's nothing that compares. Especially the sandwich with balsamic vinegar... not sure if they fly to italy and get the balsamic, but it's amazing. Go, get the pizza or whatever, but don't leave without ordering a sandwich to take home. I promise you won't be dissapointed.

This seemed a bit off the beaten path, but after trusting the GPS, we found this little place. It is part of a planned development including a cute downtown area. We ordered our pizza and took a table outside. The pizzas were thin crust and a little overdone, but still tasty. Seemed like a ritzy area give all the luxury cars that were parked nearby. Our hosts said that next time they would take us to Upper Crust, which they thought was better quality.

Great salad and pizza! Our waitress was so nice too. Will definitely return next time we are in town.

Awesome NY style pizza! They opened a little late though, only one guy workin, but no complaints about the pie whatsoever. One of the best pizza joints in the area.

Being a New Yorker, finding good pizza is always a struggle. Piace hits the nail on the head. Owners are from Philly i hear, but its truly NY style pizza - that greasy, thin crusted deliciousness. Only four stars because their hours are kind of crappy (i think closed Mondays or something), and their selection is not the best (get some sicilian please! Or grandma slices! ). They have beer and although small the restaurant is comfortable.

Ordered this pizza because of the reviews on yelp and they were right , pie came to me hot and they don't scrimp on the toppings . Excellent pizza and I will definitely be ordering from them again.

The pizza was delicious!!! A bit greasy for my taste, but really delicious ! The slices are big and the bread bed for the pizza is thin!!

I eat here all the time and Love it!! The pizza is the best around, but even more than that we love their subs. They have some great hot and cold ones. Service is great, beer selection is great, prices are great, and food is delish!
