Chai Lattes and the breakfast egg bagels are to die for!! I grew up in NY and these are the closest to NY bagels that I've ever had! My husband had a lunch sandwich and it was also delicious! I don't think you could order anything bad here!!

We happened up on Palm & Moon in Beaufort (thanks to the Yelp app) on our way from Fripp Island back to Charlotte... we were in the mood for brunch but didn't feel like a full sit-down meal. Palm & Moon to the rescue! Friendly service, a fast-casual atmosphere, moderate prices, and delicious bagels... score! I had a whole wheat bagel with lox, cream cheese, and tomato and had a cappuccino also. It really hit the spot! My husband had an everything bagel with tuna and the works. His came with a ton of homemade bagel chips. The others in our group had various bagel sandwiches and everyone seemed to enjoy. If you find yourself in Beaufort and in the mood for bagels, this is your place!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR VISITORS GREAT bagel/sandwich place. While Yelp reviews are scarce in the Beaufort area, I did find this place thanks to my fellow Yelpers. It's off the main street and unlikely to be found by accident. The bagels were outstanding and as good as any I've had in NY and elsewhere. They're clearly made onsite as the whole bakery operation is right behind the counter. Very friendly staff and decent prices. Only downside: Not a big fan of the coffee served in thermoses but it wasn't bad. Will be back when back in the area.

I'm not a fan of bagels, so when my fiancé brought me here I was skeptical, but upon taking my first bite of their chicken salad sandwich on a plain bagel I was converted. Fresh and full of flavor with friendly staff and a small town feel, this will definitely be on the list of places I recommend to family and friends visiting for our wedding.

While in Beaufort for a weekend, we decided to check this place out since we LOVE bagels. It was such a cool little coffee shop! The bagels were delicious, but the reason I give this place four stars is the FRESH SQUEEZED ORANGE JUICE. Once you have had fresh squeezed, you never want to go back to boxed. The coffee was delicious as well. Cool atmosphere and friendly staff. A quote on the back of t-shirts they sell summed this place up pretty well - "A little bit yankee, a little bit y'all" - PERFECT!

This place was alright in my opinion. Iwent in and ordered a dozen bagels. I also got a tube of their plain cream cheese and a tube of veggie cream cheese. The bagels were good and so were the cream cheeses however I'm not sure if theses were really New York styled bagels. My New Yorker uncle said they didn't have any special New York taste to him, but he doesn't claim to be a bagel expert either. The only problem I had with this place is that they weren't too friendly. I was clearly placing an order for numerous people, but the lady didn't ask if I wanted them toasted or sliced. Sheesh...even bagel chains offer that. I figured a small business owner would want to make sure that base was covered, but maybe not. Who knows, maybe they are not worried about repeat business or word of mouth.

I was never a bagel person until I met you Mr. Palm and moon bagel! I've tried eating store bought bagels after eating here and I just can't do anymore. Love the bagels and their blueberry cream cheese.

Bagels are great-how can u go wrong! Staff is moody and act like u are asking them to reap the wheat from fields. Smoothies are a joke. It's powdered something mixed with ice. Good coffe tho.

The food was good but the service sucked! The two girls were not helpful when I was trying to find out what was in a bagel. Not to mention one was complaining to the other about having to make oatmeal for a customer. Not one of them greeted us when we wanted in and they even made our meals in the wrong bagels. The food is not worth going back for with those two girls working there.

This place was okay. I ordered a Palm wrap which must not have been a great choice. I guess I should have ordered it on a bagel. The prices were too expensive for what they served. I got the smallest wrap that I have ever seen and I wish there was a chips option because they only serve croutons/weird pieces of bread as a side. Overall, it was okay but I was hungry again a hour later.

Loved this place! So many bagel flavors and cream cheese flavors. I had a garlic bagel with cheese and bacon cream cheese. Boyfriend had salt bagel with chocolate cream cheese. Can't decide on my favorite and will definitely be back!!

I had a delicious bagel there. It had a nice chewy/crusty skin which I love. It wasn't dry at all either. The staff was very friendly and I noticed a lot of people comfortably hanging out and chatting in there. It seemed like a great place to go everyday of the week.

We went in today on my guy's recommendation. I was going through a tough medical time a few years' ago and he came in for a sandwich for me, the food was amazing. Today we went for 'brunch' and I ordered a vegetarian panini...spinach, portobello, tomato and roasted red pepper. I didn't order cheese thinking there would be some creativity in seasoning, as is typical for most vegetarian dishes. For starters, it was served on fococcia bread - not specified on the 'board' menu, which is my least favorite. Had I known, I would not have ordered. Secondly, the sandwich was prepared with no salt, pepper or seasoning. It was awful tasting, and my boyfriend tried and agreed. I decided that rather than leave a review here, I would express my discontent with the staff in hopes of hearing something positive. Instead, they told me, 'Well, that's how we make it here' and offered to refund my money, which I refused and was not my intent. So here is my review...never EVER order anything vegetarian in this bagel place.

I love this place! So delicious, and the staff is very friendly. Love the downtown location as well!

REAL fresh bagels!

Palm & Moon is the best place in town to get bagel, salads and paninis for breakfast and lunch. It's also one of the few places i've ever found that serves tomato bisque (one of my absolute favorite soups) They close at 2 so if you have any late afternoon cravings you're out of luck. The downtown location is a great place to bike or walk to and they have a couple of outdoor tables if you like to eat outside. You can pick up some tidbits about South Carolina history if you choose to eat in the dining room, which I found to be pretty entertaining and educational. The service staff is great (you can tell it's a family owned restaurant) and the prices are reasonable.

I really like the sandwiches here! There is nothing better then a sandwich on a bagel! The bagels are delicious, a definite try.

Great food and great staff. I can't recommend it enough.

Best bagels in Beaufort! Daily breakfast and lunch specials, tons of ways to customize your bagel or sandwich, home made cream cheeses, and King Bean coffee. Awesome specialty sandwiches as well. My personal go to is Taylor Ham Traditional double meat toasted on plain. Enjoy!
(4)Sarah M.
The best bagels in town, and amazing coffee as well. Found a hair in my cream cheese once which was gross, but hopefully that was a one-time accident, as this place is pretty clean. Not worth freaking out over because the bagels are that good.

Hello NY bagels!! Every time I go to Beaufort, and that's often, after parking my car, I go here for bagels. I've died and gone to heaven. The best, the best. Fresh, great tasting, crisp, oh my god. I've had NY bagels which are great, these are right there. Cup of coffee, a bagel, and a walk down by the shore, life is good. It's right down town on a side road. Go there, look for it, buy a bagel, take that first bite, and you will know, there is a god. What more can I say, oh yea, the staff is very friendly and will get what you want. Don't miss this experience. PS , they have all variety. Frank G

Awesome food, great prices, ok atmosphere. All kinds of bagel sandwiches. All kinds of bagels and cream cheeses made here. Varieties of coffee. The bagel chips were a nice touch, too. Only complaint: blaring country music radio :-P

Palm and Moon is a great cafe in downtown Beaufort. A great ambience for people who want to go have a coffee or meal together, study, and they have to go options if you need to be on the run. I love their coffee, which says a lot coming from Seattle. Their iced coffees are perfect for a humid, sunny day. They have a nice selection of bagels, not so much that it is overwhelming and you can't decide. So far I have had the cinnamon raisin, plain and everything bagels. They have different kinds of cream cheese, too. I like their bagels with cream cheese and their breakfast bagels. Staff is friendly and service is quick.
(5)Richard F.
Great bagels and coffee. Sandwiches are fresh and hot. This is minor but the should give a bakers dozen on a dozen purchase. It is not the end of the world but bagel shop karma.
(4)Aleks K.
Bagels were good. BLT did not have mayo which was a let down, I didn't know I had to specify. Not a pleasant smell, we took our food to go.
(3)Jeremy W.
Hey I'm from Atlanta and I have to say this is one the best bagel places I've ever eaten at. Can't wait to go back here again yall need to try the sand bar bagel it's the best.
(5)Travis H.
The service was mediocre and the atmosphere, at least on a Saturday is less than uplifting. They give way to much cream cheese for their dense bagels. I would try somewhere else the next time you are in Beaufort.
(2)Jewel M.
You'll think you died and went to NY bagel heaven! Their own bagels offer a great platform for all their luscious specialty sandwiches or you can build your own with great ingredient options including some really tasty condiments. Vegetarian, no problem.... wonderful salads are offered with protein options for the carnivores and I would be remiss if I failed to mention their freshly made soups......mushroom & brie, beef barley w/vegs, roasted red pepper w/Gouda, broccoli & cheddar......all served with bagel chips! Do I really need to say more.....oh, yeah, the coffee.....sublime! Go! Now!

Heard of this place for a while now and never got around to get there. My wife and son went there this morning for breakfast and my wife ate the salmon something bagel sandwich I had the wheat bagel with blue berry cream cheese. It was delicious I had to go back for another one when I tried the wild blueberry bagel with cream cheese and coffee. Will definitely go back again spend $14 for breakfast for the three my son just ate some of ours he is still a baby. We sat outdoors with the cool breeze of the rain made it a great breakfast. Enough patio space to stay dry and enjoy breakfast!! Will come back again on a weekend .
