Bypassed the uber long lines at the door and headed for the bar where there were a few seats to chosen from. Got taken care of quickly, my food and drink arrived promptly. My chicken was a little dry but the baked potato and salad perfect. No complaints and the bar staff VERY friendly and effecient. Was in and out in around 20 minutes even on a very busy Saturday night. I was out of there before the folks waiting for tables hen i arrived were even seated.

When I posted my photo of "gristle land" I was new to Yelp and the photo but not the text got posted. The meal was bad enough to complete the task. The gristle amount was almost unbelievable and when coupled with a well undercooked potato I can advise "drive on by" without reservation!

We usually eat here. My best friends says its her Favorite place to eat in Anderson. But its always been just alright for me. I prefer Olive Garden or Logans. Snake bites, my salad and steamed veggies were good! My Dallas steam was little on the dry side and well done. I prefer Medium well. The peach daquri is awesome"!

This is a great mid priced family steakhouse... You can select your beef from the display, a concept that gets them a point in my book. I have had multiple steaks here and would suggest that they are just fine. Good steak, cooked as you request. Potatoes and salads are great, no complaints... Cooked properly, salad ingredients are fresh... The place is full every night. Apparently large numbers of customers are voting with their wallets so who am I to buck the mass opinion? Service is attentive and friendly. I have never had a complaint. They have peanuts all over the place. Nice distraction if you are waiting on someone. Their rolls are really good. Hot, buttery yeast rolls are hard to beat. I have been a number of times. I would not have gone back if it was not a good deal and a good meal, accordingly I am tempted to give four stars... They are good at what they are.

I always get the best service here, the waitress stuff is all ways on it when it comes to my drinks and double checking to make sure my meal is exactly how I ordered it.

Sadly disappointed. I ordered a filet which should be lean, but was chewy and almost 15% fat. And this is the second time I have experienced this in as many months. Service is okay, but nothing outstanding.

I liked eating here a few years ago but it has seriously went down hill. I went in with my hubby and kids. We ordered a beer and both had a fresh date that was 4 months past fresh and both were warm. The salads we ordered were mostly lettuce and not very fresh, we didn't eat them. We ordered roasted chicken and fries. Both plates had undercooked chicken and fries that were so over cooked that they were hard as a rock. It was an absolutely terrible experience. We will never go back!

We went for lunch and waited to be seated while 4 servers argued over who got our table. After that incident the service was good and our server kept our drinks filled. She had to look at our menu with us when we asked about a few dishes, but the food that came was cooked well and tasted good.

For some reason we don't stop here as often as we should. We shared a nice NY Strip with an extra salad and baked potato and really enjoyed it.

Ive been eating here since they opened. Based on my experiances with price, service, and food quality, I would say they are the best steak house in Anderson.

Very much enjoy this resturaunt. Steaks are a step above your normal Ruby Tuesdays, or Applebees type of resturaunt. Expect to have a nice little wait to be seated on Friday and Saturday nights, calling ahead to have your name added to the wait list is a big help. This isn't the quietest establishment but is a nice place to have a casual meal. A family can expect to leave with a full stomach and a wallet $50-60 lighter.

Great steaks. The 'add-ons' like grilled onions are way over priced. Service is pretty good most of the time. Love their Italian salad dressing. I like it better than the Outback. It can get very loud in there.

Couldn't tell u how the food was because we left after a 20 year old incompetent Mgr on duty made a really poor choice on how to handle a complaint. My hubby and I went in on Sun 9/28 around 1:30. I ordered catfish, hubby ordered 11 Oz sirloin, medium well. We got our food, I put my dressing on my salad and my sour cream in my potato while my husband cut his medium "rare "steak. Perfect for me but not for him. We had been there a long time already. A young girl came to the table and asked how our meal was. My hubby told her his steak was undercooked and he couldn't eat it like that. She said she would get him another one and apologized. I told her she could take mine back as well that I would not be eating without him and that I wouldn't be eating a cold meal either. I explained to her we were there to eat together and that's what we intended to do. She gave me a nasty look and took both plates to the kitchen. 5 minutes later she was back with our food. We had fresh potatoes plain and the same fish and steak she had left with. I asked her if she was seriously expecting us to eat something she popped in a microwave. Once u cut a steak, recooking it is not an option. It had no juice and was tough. My fish had been flash fried again. For the money we were paying, it was unacceptable. I told her to bring me my check.I had no idea she was a" Mgr." She sent the sweet little waitress over who was mortified with embarrassment. She apologized over and over. I assured her that was not her fault and asked if there was a Mgr in. That's when she told me she was the one on duty right now. I gave her a $20 and asked her to bust it for me. She came back with my change and told me the Mgr charged me for my salad and 2 drinks. I told the waitress I hadn't took a bite of my salad and that I wouldn't be paying for it. She went over to the "Mgr" who starting flailing her arms across the restaurant, running her mouth causing a scene. The restaurant was packed and she was in the middle of it next to where they put orders thru on the computer. I don't know what she was saying which is probably best, but I did share with the waitress how impressive her side show was and how proud she must make her upper Mgmt. Maybe role playing would be in order for this young, not so much a lady, on how to handle an upset guest. I left a $5 tip for our waitress who tried to box our reheated food. I respectively declined and went down the street to enjoy a wonderful meal at Longhorns with my husband.(The star would be for my sweet waitress)

Great waitress! Food was horrible. Baked potato tasted like it had been warmed in the microwave. Another person had the buttery corn...what a joke....can of whole kernel corn. We all had different entrees. None cooked correct. I had sirloin med. I didn't see any red....very tough...another med ribeye....not even pink and salmon that was dry . The kids meal hot dog was the best looking meal on table! I had heard this was a great place to eat........I will never be back or tell anyone it's good!

Waiter and staff were nice but clearly not trained well. My mother in law ordered a black and blue 6oz steak and no seasoning. It was delivered with blue cheese. The waiter seemed extremely confused and sent someone- we think maybe a supervisor- over to clarify on the steak. When she was told that we wanted a black and blue steak she too looked confused and then asked if we wanted Philadelphia style. Come on, really? This is a steak house- any respectable steak house should know what a black and blue is (and yes, Philadelphia style is the same thing). A charred- barely cooked steak should take no more than 5 minutes- we waited for 30 for the replacement- and had to ask for it. My father in law ordered a burger and fries with a dinner salad. He requested the dinner salad be delivered before the main entre, and a side of chili to go along with his burger and fries. The chili came before everything- even before the salads. When we told them they had it wrong, they were happy to smile and roll their eyes while they took the chili away (and then forget it when they delivered the main course- we had to ask for it to be redelivered). Had another manager-supervisor (we assume that's what they were as they had ear pieces in and were dressed differently) come over at some point and ask my mother in law if everything was ok. It was so blatantly obvious that everyone had a plate and she had nothing. The manager barely waited for a half given answer and ran off to another table instead of digging a little deeper into the problems our table was experiencing. I think with all the mistakes adding up to this point it had scared the waiter off. He was impossible to find for the check. Had to ask the assumed manager/supervisor. She gave it to us. It had a .50 charge for the blue cheese (that we never asked for) and absolutely no credit for all the troubles for the night. When my mother in law pointed this out to the waiter he said he would take care of it. He returned the check- minus the .50 blue cheese charge. And just for a bit of education, Texas Road House... polite families do the following: We do not start eating until everyone has their meal. The 30 minutes you took to cook a rare steak- everyone barely nibbled on their food so by the time the steak arrived the rest of the table's food was cold. Also, in polite families, plates are not picked up until the last person is done eating. How can you tell? Everyone's utensils will be positioned across the plate. So next time, even though people may look done, don't be offended when they say they don't want their plates picked up. It means someone is not done eating and the rest of the table is respecting that person. And for a matter of course, for God's sake, teach your staff what a black and blue steak is. It is NOT blue cheese. And if your guests are experiencing so many problems, give them a break on the ticket. Please train your wait staff if they do not understand what their customer is requesting, to read back the order to them. This will save SO many hassles down the road. It will clarify a lot for them and will let the customer know the waiter understood what was requested. On a side note... the salads were excellent and the waiter did a nice job of keeping up with the drinks. Other than that, I've got nothing else positive to add.

I decided to choose my own ribeye from the display counter rather than ordering from the menu. It was a nice thick, well portioned cut of bovine perfection which I requested be cooked extra rare. In a while, it arrived at the table, just as I had ordered it. It was very good, as was the salad and potato. We enjoyed the peanuts before the meal and the tea was very good. Overall: 2 thumbs up.

Chili tasted like it was from a can. The service was horrible. We actually had to ask a bus boy if there was gong to be anyone coming around to take our order. The food quality seems to have gone downhill, rolls and chili weren't as good as they once were. I do not think I will be eating here again.
