This place isn't too bad. They have a large selection and variety of items. The staff is always friendly.

It was good. I loved the grill which is the only thing i ate from. That and the salad bar. Only complaint is the hostess sat us in the party room in the very back and it was a 10-20 degree temperature difference, very noticeable. But when I come to Anderson I will not choose to eat here anymore. There's to many other food options to eat here again :-)

Gross slimy cold food.advertises 5.99 lunch then after eating the guys changed the price to 10.00. What a ripoff

We really enjoyed this buffet. Big family of 7 with some picky kids. Everyone found something they liked. We would come back!

Came here with my son on Saturday. Food was fresh and plentiful, sushi was fresh made. Great atmosphere, definitely go back again. Cost me $15.00 plus tip for my son and I with drinks on the weekend, that's great I

The ladies restroom was disgusting. There was no soap. The middle sink did not work. There was food or something that looked like bits of food under the sink in the drain on the floor. There was rust on the base surrounding the doors of the bathroom stall. If I would have went to the bathroom first, I would not have eaten here. If they don't keep the bathrooms clean how does their kitchen look?

Found hair in food, told "manager" who took napkin with hair on it and said nothing told him what was on my plate and he did nothing so if there was more contaminated food some one else was going to get it. Left never to return

Staff is aloof. Chinese food...NOT! There's a lot of American dishes and some imitation Chinese food. It went from bad to equally bad when they turned the old Ryan's into what they call a Chinese food buffet.

We went Sunday after church -so yes, we were expecting it to be crowded and it was. We were sat relatively quickly upon arrival. The food, for the most part, was well stocked and fresh - some items were empty but you can tell they were working on keeping it full with the large crowd. The food was tasty for the most part and nothing horrible, it was a buffet. The sushi and hibachi were good, the hibachi could have had more flavor. Overall it was a good experience and we'd probably go back.

This place is ideal for overeating Americans. They have a veritable bounty of delicacies to choose from, and boy do people choose from them. It's like a shark tank filled with chum. Each time I go I vow not to return, and then I find myself back again in a week or so. I must find a support group or I shall be as big as a piano. I've taken to wearing a mask so noone will recognize me. The one they call Jen (male) calls me shrimp man because I eat more fish than anyone in his country. He didn't have to point that out. Bastard. I gotta go. It's almost suppertime. Couldn't you eat your weight in those teriaki chicken sticks? Have mercy.

I've been to this Hibachi Grill many times. Love it! Yes, it's a buffet. No, it's not "gourmet" - but there is something for just about everyone. The "Hibachi Grill" area always looks appetizing and fun to try - but I'm always distracted by the fresh Sushi being made and put out. Many different varieties of rolls (Maki) - and even some Nigiri. Will you find more variety in a typical Sushi bar? Sure - but not at this price. There is typical American "Chinese" fare here (and more!) - and that's pretty popular with most folks. Items like pot-sticker/dumplings, lo-mien, and mai-fun noodles. Standards like sweet & sour chicken (or shrimp), hibachi-style beef, sauteed green beans (LOVE), stuffed mushrooms, and crab ran-goons. There are also seafood choices: crab legs, frog legs, oysters, mussels, shrimp, and salmon. There's an Octopus salad (with chilies!) that is one of my favorite things there. Dessert choices abound as well. Ice cream/sherbet are in individual serving cups and there are dozens more things to choose from. They even serve longan fruit - it looks like a pearl onion, but tastes like pear. Neat stuff! (I've since found it by the can in Asian markets and occasionally partake at home). Will I be back? Of course! The service is really good, the food is fresh and well prepared, and the variety is awesome.

This was our second visit and the place sure is busy on a Saturday night. The hibachi cooking was pretty good and the variety of sushi rolls was very good. All of the food was hot and fresh, and arriving while they are busy nets that benefit for you. The hot and sour soup was just OK, but getting it made to order in a sit down restaurant or a take out shop is far better. The ice cream is now in sealed dixie-style cups so the kiddos can no longer play in the open tubs - that was disgusting on our first visit. The former Ryan's venue has been extensively remodeled, giving the place a fresh and new look. Too bad they didn't see fit to upgrade the rest rooms while they were at it. Finally, on our first visit the table attendant was very personable and attentive, asking us if everything was OK and if we needed anything. Tonight's attendant was quick to pick up used dishes but communicated poorly. When she thought we were almost done she hovered around as if she wanted us to hurry up and leave. I guess that was because the lobby was full of people waiting to be seated. Overall it is currently the best Asian Buffet in town. Hopefully they will continue to have enough customer traffic to keep the food moving while it is still hot.

I'm conflicted because I see two different restaurants. If you go during dinner or weekends, you get a fuller buffet, and the food is fresher because its being used up faster due to higher numbers. If you go during lunch (which is $4.99 and insanely cheap), you get stale food, some steam trays even sit empty, and always ask your waiter for an extra water or beverage because you probably won't see them again until it's time to get the check, which often requires flagging down another waiter. In the evenings and on weekends the wait staff is phenomenal. I have been here several times since it opened and was converted from a Ryans, and it hasn't changed. Great sushi selection and if you ask and throw something in the tip jar they can custom-make sushi for you. Same goes for the hibachi, just throw a bunch of stuff from the cold bar beside it on a plate, hand it to them, throw a couple bucks in the tip jar, and prepare to be amazed. The desert selection is almost always invariably the same, so maybe go with something else -- I miss when there was soft serve ice cream. Those hard containers of frozen just don't do it. Also can never find cookies anymore, but a nice fruit bar, salad bar, and soup bar, plus American, Mexican, and Italian dishes.

Came at lunch not very busy but half the food trays are empty. All the desirable items like shrimp are empty just ice. They only pit out little bits to ration people.

The food is average - a lot of variety but not a lot of flavor. What undoes this place is the service. Waiting in line for 10 minutes to be seated when half the place is empty is ridiculous. Waiting another 10 minutes while my wife has to go to an ATM because your credit card machine isn't working is also ridiculous. Either get a backup system for charging cards or comp meals when your equipment fails. Even if the credit card machine had worked this place would've only been 2 stars.

They did a nice job transforming an old Ryan's and the staff is pleasant. However the food needs some help. While there are a lot of choices, with the exception of the sushi and the desserts, most are greasy and flavorless. Being a buffet, I didn't feel compelled to get my money's worth.
