La Dolce is a wonderful bakery but also specializes in TEA and coffee. After living in Italy for two years, I was happy to find the best Cappuccino in town. The atmosphere is very European and you feel calm and relaxed as soon as you enter the door. Haven't tried the lunch but will be doing that this Thursday with my friends. Great gathering spot or a place to read or get some work done.

Stopped and bought a slice of cheese cake to take home. Tried to eat it that night ..Was dry and crumbly with NO taste. No desire to try again. Not impressed.

Pastries are mediocre and service slow. Prices are not well posted. Go across thestreet to the New Moon where you will find good service and food.

They know pastry and tea, and I highly recommend them for that! The three-star rating is due to their poor handling of espresso-based drinks. Shots pull in ten seconds or less as thin, black, Starbucks-like liquid; and milk drinks are steamed so slightly as to be devoid of texture and topped with a layer of soap-suds like bubbles. Their setup is good (Aurelia + Mazzer), so they could do well with some professional training for their staff. I'll update this review if that happens. Until then, go for the tea and pastry, but but steer clear of the coffee.

Stopped by on our way through town and had a pleasant experience. I enjoyed the brown sugar and cinnamon baked french toast, my wife enjoyed her plain french toast as well. my home fries did leave a little bit to be desired. The baked goods here looked amazing! I hope to return at some point, the service is good our meal was enjoyable.
