This is a chain place, much like Applebees or Ruby Tuesdays. This is the first one that I had been to, so I was open to the experience. Service was acceptable, the place appeared clean. The food quality and appearance was not quite as good. My wife had the grilled fish, which was OK, my sisterinlaw had the grilled chicken breast, which was OK, my brotherinlaw had the fried shrimp which was OK, and I had a shrimp Po boy which was probably the worst that I have ever had, anywhere. I don't plan to waste my time going here or to another one again. I guess I should have known that there is a reason that these are not located in my area. Restaurants that seem to thrive in other areas, go out of business around where I live.

I simply love Fatz restaurant chain! No matter where I go I always get s great meal there. This location is no exception. Ordered the calabash chicken tenders and grilled veggie skewers. All I can say... ON PONT!!! The service was great. Most waitress was wonderful. She was very sweet and knowledgeable of the menu. Made great suggestions and had a great personality. I could tell she enjoyed working there. My friend got the combo plate of calabash chicken tenders and calabash shrimp. Tasted the shrimp and it was good too! Very little breading no need for a dipping sauce at all. I love it here and will be back!

Their Hickory Burger was all I had hoped for in a good burger. Big n' juicy, cooked as requested, with the awesome hickory bacon and mayo- Damn, that was a good burger! Asked for a substitute side of their Onyum rings of which I also removed all evidence of the order from the plate. Something about their onion coating that really made them infectious to my appetite! Good and accurate service helped keep the experience a joy. Will plan to go back if I find myself in another Aiken mood.

Was just ok. Nothing special about this place. They have strange names for their fried chicken, they made it sound like it was the best chicken you'll ever had. Mediocre. The place is like an Applebee's

Always good. Great service. Friendly staff. Almost never a wait. Good variety. Rolls are to die for. We like the chicken dishes and lite breaded fish.

Okay - it's a chain. So you have to view the rating in relation to other chain restaurants. But my mom said it was better than Applebee's and we just needed to get out of the house the day after Christmas. Enough of falalalalifetime movies for me. Let's start with the service - first, the host was a man getting on in years who was terribly polite, not a teenage girl chewing gum. And while I'm sort of uncomfortable with women younger than myself calling my mom sweetie, our waitress was really excellent. Plus they have sweet tea AND regular un-sweet tea (which I haven't found in many places down here). Plus, the rolls they serve were deep-fried, I'm pretty sure. And really, while I'm not a fan of cholesterol, or diabetes, I'm kind of a fan of deep-fried bread. And it WAS better than Bennigan's. I had fried green tomatoes because I've never had them before. They were supposed to be an appetizer, but served with grits, seriously filling. (I guess the deep-fried rolls didn't help). My mom had the 3 small sliders with fries, which she loved, but were kind of "meh" to me. The fries weren't amazing, though they did come in that cone that can sometimes signify, "We really love our fries, and will present them in this fancy old-school way to show it." The fried green tomatoes were good though. A little tart, the breading was crispy. I really am no judge of this dish since, well, I know nothing about Southern cooking, but if I had to choose between this restaurant and an Applebees, Chili's or Denny's - this would be the hands-down winner. Nice atmosphere, and actual flavor in the food. Sure, I'm not a big fan of the chain restaurant, but there IS a place for them, especially when they're regional. I'm guessing they don't provide the best example of each particular dish, but it's nice to know that there's a decent place to go for a moderately priced meal, with good service. And maybe tomorrow, we'll go to that cool bbq place with the paper plates and picnic tables...
