This was a very nice place to stay. It's very simple and it's very true. It is small and homey. The room was very clean and well proportioned. The staff was helpful and offered some really great tips. They seemed to know the area quite well. I loved the back deck and thought it very peaceful and relaxing. My only negative, and it is splitting hairs quite a bit is that it's not a B&B by any stretch of the imagination. It's an inn plan and simple. A good breakfast place is across the street so no harm no foul.

R.I.P Stage Coach Inn. In a day and age where restaurants are all slowly become the same, you will be sorely missed.

EDIT: THEY MAILED ME BACK MY KINDLE. I got a call from someone at the Stagecoach House Inn the next day and was told that housekeeping found my Kindle under my pillows and I had forgotten it. I was *so* grateful that it wasn't lost or destroyed. They mailed it back to me the very next day, just in time for me to get it before a trip across the country. If I could leave ten stars, I would. I was falling asleep at the wheel driving back from an event and decided to stop for a good night's rest before continuing my journey the next day. As luck had it, Stagecoach House Inn was the closest place to where I was stopped. The woman at the desk provided a flawless check in even with my exhausted mind wandering and seemed to genuinely care about my comfort. The Inn is adorable and the rooms are super comfortable. There was a little door slamming that I could hear quite clearly from another room, but everything was quiet enough to hear a pin drop after ten p.m.-perfect for a good night's rest. I left extremely early in the morning so I can't comment on the breakfast offerings but they looked nice-cereal, milk, fruit, etc. I will definitely stay again!

Very charming b+b. The room was spotless and the view from the patio of the Wood River in the morning was breathtaking. There are so many special touches here. Avoid the chains, stay at the Stagecoach!

My family and I all stayed here for a night over Memorial Day weekend. The owner was very involved and obviously takes a lot of pride in her business. She personally walked me to our room to make sure everything was up to par and that we were happy with the room. Fantastic guest service! If you're passing through the area and need a place to stay, make your stop at Stagecoach!

Very nice place. We stayed here for Mother's Day weekend and had a lovely time. Very quaint location with scenic views of the river. The room we stayed in was one of the honeymoon suites. We arrived to rose petals on the floor, and it had a fireplace and a two person jetted spa tub. It made for a nice romantic getaway. Only downside would be that you could hear a small bit of noise from your neighbors. But, the breakfast was pretty good, and consists of homemade pastries and juice, and coffee. The owner was very welcoming and tries to greet all her guests. I could definitely see myself staying again for a quick getaway.

Our first visit was May 25, 2013, for one night. The room was warm and cozy, pristine clean and fresh-smelling The bed was comfy and had plenty of pillows. The bathroom was immaculate and the shower excellent with no shortage of hot water or towels. The view of the river from the balcony is reminiscent of eastern Europe - scenic and romantic. The young lady who greeted us at the front desk was friendly and accommodating and answered all of our questions before leading us to our room. Sure we heard some folks when they came in, but where don't you hear that? It was not a problem. The breakfast fruits and cakes were delicious. The only thing missing was decaf coffee, which I prefer, even in the morning. We will definitely stay there again and recommend it to you as well. Enjoy.

I discovered the Stagecoach House Inn after picking up one of those green travel books you see at highway rest stops that offer cheap places to stay. I used to believe these books were good for Holiday Inns and the like. No, not this time. The Stagecoach House Inn is a B&B with probably 10 or 12 rooms. Each room faces a river and is near a small waterfall. The rooms are decorated nicely, and there is a continental breakfast that the owners bake themselves. I believe this is a destination for many weddings and I can understand why. It's in a quiet neighborhood, with a couple restaurants directly across the street. The Inn gives you a coupon for free drinks when you visit one of them. I've used this place as a cheaper romantic getaway weekend. I've recommended it to friends, and think it's a great hidden gem of RI.

This was absolutely the worst place I have ever stayed. I could hear the neighbor coughing, laughing, and their TV talking through the wall all evening and night. I am NOT a light sleeper, but I got about 2 hours of sleep. The girl at the front desk was eating a pie out of the pie dish when we checked in. You would think she would set it aside to check us in, but no, she kept right out eating during the 5 mins it took to check us in. Absolutely dreadful. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. And the 'falls' they claim that the property overlooks are non-existent. It is on a river, but the falls are nowhere to be seen. I couldn't get out of there fast enough.
