This place is an embarrassment to the Indian and Pakistani community. Please don't visit this place as you will be served trash and will not get even a taste of real Indian/Pakistani food. I wish i could write a review without a star.

What a joke of a restaurant. Was craving some Indian Pakistani food and made the mistake of trusting Google reviews. I drove 55 minutes to get to this restaurant. I walk in to what looks like an Indian convenience mart or quickie mart. There was one African woman working there and couldn't speak a word of English. To make matters worse she does know anything about Indian or Pakistani food. Apparently this is an African place that also serves some Pakistani and Indian dishes...or that The Pakistanis/Indians didn't show up...? I ask her how many breads the chicken karahi comes with and she started making squiggly lines with her finger on the counter. She did repeated multiple times that she knows "how to cook the meat" Don't waste your time going here.

I am giving a star as yelp won't let me comment w/o a star otherwise it doesn't deserve a star too. I had chicken tikka and it was so bland it seemed like they forgot to put any spice in it, they seem to have started selling grocery items by side which suggest the motive too. I was disappointed after knowing that the chef they claim to be is from Karachi had 12 years of experience and I am sure a regular guy with less than 3 years of experience can cook much better than what I had. Believe me Karachi food is very rich in spices and this is simply not edible.

This place had such promise. When it first opened we went weekly but it seems to have changed management. The last time I went in, the place was a little sketchy. Food was kept up front and my chum said that the place looked like a health inspector's worst nightmare. The food was SALTY. Tikka Masala was inedible it was all salt and no spice. Hopefully it will come back.

I was so excited to find an Indian restaurant in Woonsocket. Unfortunately, bad experience. I was only looking for takeout, called @ 6pm on a weeknight and ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, which must be one of the most popular dishes, and was told it wouldn't be ready for at least 45-50 minutes. Did I mention that it was 6pm, you know, dinnertime. So I reluctantly agreed to delay my pickup even though I had nothing to do in the meantime. I then tried to order the BaGan (eggplant) and was told they didn't have that today. Huh? It's on your menu. I'm surprised they had the naan that I also wanted. So of the 3 things I wanted they didn't have one, and the other was almost an hour away from being done (at dinnertime, and late dinnertime at that in Woonsocket). As an aside, the woman who answered the phone didn't speak enough English to take my order (for Indian food). She handed the phone (twice) to a man. I'm not one of those 'come to America and learn English!' people, but practically speaking, if you're going to answer the phone you should be able to communicate with your customers. I agreed to wait and killed some time. I figured it was worth trying, to know of a good local Indian place. Entered the restaurant and was none too impressed, wouldn't ever want to eat there. But sometimes the hole-in-the-walls have the best food so I held out hope. I told them I'd placed a take out order and the man went in back and brought out a container of Chicken Tikka Masala and naan in tin foil. He started explaining about their groceries coming from NY, and if the truck's late they can't make what's on the menu. Nope, no eggplants for sale in these here parts. But I digress. I asked if the Tikka Masala didnt come with rice. He replied 'Oh yes, it does' and headed to the back. He returned with a container of cold rice. Not a huge deal, I do have a microwave, but still. Took the food home, still holding out hope. The naan was passable. The Tikka Masala was not good. At first I was impressed with the amount of chicken in it, turned out it was all greasy dark meat, and very salty. And no condiments at all, onion chutney, sauces, nothing. And of course, no idea how the eggplant was. Sadly, I will never return. A shame, because Providence is in the opposite direction of my drive home, not convenient on a weeknight. You can try it, you might like it. But when I was at the point of hoping that the food would overcome ALL the rest of the fiasco and it didn't.......not for me.
