Used to come here with my Grammy when I was little. We used to get the fries and sit outside... yum yum!

great little diner! i remember my grandfather bringing me here as a child and getting french fries and playing packman arcade.now 25+ yrs later and i will still go there on occasion.just about everything they serve is made from scratch.i normally will get a burger and it is fresh made patties not frozen.there french fries are delicious being fresh cut then double fried the way real fries are supposed to be made.fair prices (soda is a little steep).friendly waitress.if your in woonsocket and want "diner food" the castle should be your place to go!

A great little place that is more than meets the eye. The folks here are pure, down home goodness. They are friendly, funny, and hard working. The food is very good no matter if you are a local or just visiting.

Good local place near North end of Blackstone bike path. Bike over and sit outside to eat lunch. Fried fish sandwich, burgers and fries were good.

This place needs to be shut down!!! This was our first time eating there and we had the the seafood plate and a clam plate. It was loaded in grease and not worth a dime! It cost us $43.00 and when we got home and opened our dinner we had to throw away the food! $43.00 wasted on this place. Don't waste your money!! We thought we would try something different because we have driven by there so many times, that was the biggest mistake ever!!! You have been warned!!

I really wanted to love this place...just seemed like the grease hasn't been changed in a while. Ordered the fried clam plate and it just was dark and greasy. Cute place, good service just wasn't too impressed with the food.

Excellent local food, definitely not "chain" food. An extensive menu, including seafood, standard American fare, Italian food, and local favorites such as dynamite sandwiches (a mildly spicy meat mixture with peppers and onions, if you didn't know). The prices are *extremely* reasonable. I'm partial to their meatball subs. My son likes their franks and beans. Their french fries deserve special mention: they're hand-cut, home-made, and the portions are HUGE. Not long ago they started serving breakfast, at least on the weekends. I'm not sure how that worked out for them, and they may not still be doing it. But we gave them a try. The food was excellent, better than we expected, and very reasonably priced. A bit of history: The Castle was closed for nearly a year (or perhaps more) because they had a fire (I believe it was a fire in the exhaust system above the kitchen) and their insurance agency apparently dragged their heels. I feared that they wouldn't be coming back, but eventually they did - with an improved dining area, to boot. This is the opposite of the usual boring, standardized fare that you get at the chain restaurants; it's cheaper and better. Service is pleasant and friendly. It's definitely worth coming back again and again.

Best onion rings in R.I.! Hand cut, fresh, lightly floured- no heavy batter. EXCELLENT!
