The food and service at Rigatoni's is great. You receive very good food for a terrific value, especially for lunch! The staff is very friendly and restaurant is extremely clean. Definitely will be back!!!

Wife and I wanted a simple night. We have driven by Rigatoni's on warwick ave a million times but never stopped by! So it was a lazy day ( raining outside) and we remembered Rigatonis. We ordered mozzarella sticks for the apps, the sauce was absolutely delicious! Wife ordered the eggplant parmigiana and I ordered the chicken marsala. Both excellent all for under $40. Excellent choice, if you live in the cranston/ warwick area you should definitely try Rigatonis! You will not be disappointed!

Great place for lunch there chicken parm is really good and cheap for lunch I highly recommend it! The place is a little dirty if you look real close but there food is good value for money.

Rigatoni's is a family restaurant right down the road from my house. The decor is super dated and the menu is your standard RI Italian joint fare. The waitresses have always been friendly and service is quick. We've eaten here a few times with our 2 year old and the food overall is just ok. The calamari with hot peppers and black olives is actually really good. It's crispy, well seasoned and tender. The chicken parm is nothing special. Two large pieces of battered fried chicken drowned in cheese and sauce. It's decent but again nothing earth shattering. The pasta has always been too well done for my liking. Overall, Rigatoni's is decent for a quick family dinner. It's a good non fancy place to bring kids. Large portions, cheap prices. Just don't expect to be blown away by the food.

The portion size was just right for my appetite, but I wasn't expecting to pay in this price range for a small restaurant. The atmosphere was nice and the food was good though, but nothing out of the ordinary to make me want to come back right away.

How does anyone give this place five (5) starts? It blows me away.. You walk in and I instantly was waiting for the A Team to come and sit me and my Brother at our table, the decor is straight from 1990 and pretty hideous really. There were plenty of tables available, they are those table with those ridiculous juke boxes in them, the ones no one ever plays, and if you do, you annoy the crap out of everyone else in the place. In this instance, we could have played it for our table, and only annoyed two tables, because they were the only ones in the place, and they were there when we arrived... Our waitress was very friendly, but even that confusing.. Place was DEAD.. Our app was served by our waitress.. Our food by another waitress.. Our refill of beers by that same waitress, then the bill was served to us by our original waitress.. But I will say they were both very nice.. We were starving and really just had to go to this place because nothing else is in the area.. I would like to think, with so many limited eating choices in the area that this place would see this as a chance to excel, but they clearly do not.. We order the boneless wings which were PIPING hot, as if they were just nuked, and just dunked in hot sauce. It was difficult to even decide how they tasted, between burning the roof of my mouth off (which I think part of it may have been left on the plate, sorry dish washing guy) and the hot sauce just drowning the poor chicken I was just hoping I would survive the experience without a heart attack.. We both ordered veal parm.. Took quite some time to get our entrees, and I thought, with this few people here the food must be amazing to take this long.. WRONG.. The veal comes out serves in a small dish and it is just caked in cheese (I know it is PARM) but it is excessive, and again, SOOOO HOT, microwaved again? Me thinks so.. Veal was tough, the breading just kind of falls off it and joins some of the grease in the bottom of the bowl.. The spaghetti was someone cold, which was confusing because the Veal was as hot as if Satan had prepared it himself in hells kitchen.. I just don't get the place.. Frankly, if you are starving, live in the area, I could see going here.. But, it is the equivalent of Papa Gino's... Below based on five (5) stars.. SERVICE *** FOOD ** DECOR * LOCATION *** ATMOSPHERE * OVERALL * 1/2

Mixed bag I swear this place is going to be on Kitchen Nightmares one of these days. We walk in and the place is deserted. A group of waitresses/employees are all sitting in a corner booth eating. We are sat and immediately told that they are out of BREAD - are were serving garlic bread instead? Sounds like they were out of fresh Italian bread so were serving stale bread soaked with garlic butter so nobody would notice....but then again the garlic bread isnt that bad so I guess you cant complain. We order our food and my wife's comes but only 1/2 of my food arrives. They are out of ravioli - but didnt figure it out until everything else was done? I overheard the waitress grumble to the cooks right before the food came; guess we know why! Food was ok, nothing to write home about but we left full. Portions seem to have shrunk over the years, but its still a decent value. Maybe it was an off day or something, but we have had better meals there. I would give it about 2 1/2 stars but rounded up to three due to past meals that were better.

This place is amazing!!! Honestly, one of the best places in RI. Went there tonight - got the stuffed peppers. My dad loves the seafood there and we all agree it is hands down some of the best Italian around. If you want wonderful, homemade Italian - come here. Wonderful waitstaff, delicious food, perfect. The bread is delicious, the pizzas are great, pasta - anything here is great. A+

Can I give 0 stars? Got takeout on Saturday night for my self and my girlfriend. The cheese covered garlic bread was fantastic. HOWEVER... My food, simple chicken alfredo was the worst thing to come out of a kitchen since McDonald's was created. Pasta was over cooked. Zero sauce. The chicken was a single breast about 2 pieces of paper thick and the size of a dollar bill. Cooked to hell. My dog is still chewing on it. Last time I ate there was a similar experience. I don't remember exactly what it was but it was a couple of years ago. Hey every place had a bad day, right? Oh wait. The dish had a giant piece of spinach embedded in the pasta. I ordered chicken alfredo. Not shoe bottom and spinach with milk and something that resembles pasta in a former life. My girlfriends food was nothing to write home about either. I was so busy trying to drown mine in grated parm cheese and suffer through it I don't remember what her issue was. Needless to say, never again. Take the time and drive around the corner to portofino or basta. I would rather have dug day old double cheese burgers out of the trash from McDonald's.

Horrible food! just ordered the Chicken Parm dinner and it consisted of 3 frozen and fried pieces of chicken tenders covered with sauce and cheese. Don't waste your time going here, fast food is the best description for this place...

Being part of an Italian family, I never saw the need to go to a Italian restaurant. I can eat it any night of the week at my mother in laws. Anyway, wasn't in the mood for Gov. Francis Inn, so we decided to try Rigatonis. What a surprise!! The food was very well prepared and tasty. The service was quick. I couldn't find anything to complain about, all around great. They even have those old school mini juke boxes on the table, and it works!! I highly recommend.

This was an okay place but nothing fancy. My boys and I swung in for a quick dinner and got a pizza to share. The decor is totally cheesy but the table-side jukeboxes were a great touch and kept my boys entertained. The pizza was large and the prices were reasonable but it really had no flavor at all. We generously salted just to give it some kind of flavor which is sad because we'd ordered meatballs on the pizza and you would think that they would add something. No such luck. The server was kind but it took quite some time to get our bill so we could leave. Otherwise it was a non-descript visit to another Italian family joint. Oh, and as someone previously stated, it's identical in menu and decor to Uncle Tonys. But not as good.

I never got the answer to this but I'm pretty sure Uncle Tony's and this are under the same ownership. If not, somebody stole their menu and interior. Very similar setup at both places, but Rigatoni's seems a little more clean. They always seem to be busy but not to the point where you have to wait to get seated. Servers are very friendly and never have made an error when I've been.

This was a fun place to visit during my short stay in Rhode Island. I had the pasta with olive oil and garlic as well as a large house salad. Both were tasty. We were on a daytrip looking for someplace that would we could have dinner with a 1-year-old who does not do well in restaurants (and the rest of us could enjoy as well), so when the GPS listed "Rigatoni's Family Restaurant" we thought it was worth a try. Well-executed, basic, Italian American, good for all ages. The sort of place where the lasagna and chicken parm are baked in little serving dishes. Having grown up in CT this is comfort food for me. In what I assume was a RI twist the a side of pasta could be substituted with fries and the fries served with vinegar. Not five stars in the Guide Michelin sense, but definitely at the top for the casual family-friendly genre.

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
