Not normally early to rise but when I'm in town I like to go to breakfast... I've gone to Pete's since I was little, just recently coming back to the area has me nostalgic... Anyways I went for breakfast this morning and had the most perfect eggs Benedict I've ever had, beyond delicious! Expertly poached eggs are a weakness of mine... The hollandaise was the perfect amount and flavorful, brought the whole dish together just as it should. The staff works so hard and are very friendly, you can tell they've been working together for a while now. It seems a lot of the same faces from growing up, which is always nice to see...consistency. Keep up the great work, see you soon!

Peter's Coney Island System is great place for breakfast or lunch. They offer a wide variety of breakfast & lunch dishes with daily specials. The wait staff is always friendly and they get your food out in a timely manner.

We've been coming to Pete's for breakfast for years. The food is pretty standard breakfast fare. They have a variety of egg/pancake/meat combinations. There are several different kinds of omelette on the menu and the homefries are delicious. The prices aren't that cheap, considering it is a family breakfast place. It usually costs us about $30 for three people to eat, but it's cheaper than somewhere like Cracker Barrel. I love that they don't rush you. That's a plus when you have pokey children who eat at their own pace. I also like that it is a "regular" place. The staff and customers all seem to know each other and you'll see a lot of the same faces every time you go. Enjoy!

I wanted to love this place so much. I love mom and pop places, especially for breakfast but I just couldn't do it. The overall food experience was meh. My friend and I both ordered omelets and neither of us loved them. Out home fries had a weird after taste neither of us could pinpoint. The service while friendly was a bit slow even when it wasn't crazy busy. I give it three stars because I did like the staff and found them to be very friendly.

Great place for breakfast with family, friends and good for all ages. Clean, great service and the food is really good. Going to be going back soon. Quote from a nine yr old who likes to be called SPLASH MOUNTAIN states this food is delicious and heart warming. Go with the Texas French toast!

Strange hours but good food Peter's Coney Island System is one of those places that always seems closed when I think it is open and open when I think it is closed. Definitely some unusual hours that change depending on the day. It's basically a breakfast and lunch place but the restaurant is open late on several days. It has both cheap breakfast and lunch specials depending on the day, and a nice variety of standard breakfast items that are always available. The pancakes and omelettes aren't gargantuan like you get at IHOP but that are cheap and good. The ubiquous hot weiners and various burgers are offered at lunch but this isn't the place to find something exotic. The food here is exactly what you would expect. I'm not sure why they call it the Coney Island System but Peter's is a place to get some decent food at some great prices. The most difficult part might be trying to figure out exactly when they are open.

Close & convenient... with good selection of breakfast items. As previous reviewer mentioned, nothing exotic, but good basic grub at a fair price. We had eggs, bacon and pancakes (him) and blueberry pancakes and sausage (me). Food was hot and prepared well (sausage was acceptably well done as requested). Coffee came quick and was refilled several times - a huge plus for us! We were there on a Sunday and the crowd started rolling in around 9-9:30am, just as we were leaving! Seat yourselves, very casual place. Not sure about dinner hours, but they're definitely open on Friday for fish and chips, but not terribly late (I think they close at 7pm). Always good to check other nights for hours! LOL We had the fish and chips before and it was good - solidly middle of the road - have had better and definitely have had far worse.

Excellent breakfasts and Friday dinners. Only nearby place with breaded fresh fish. Not batter dipped. Great friendly wait staff.
