A night out can be a review of an establishment and can be influenced by the company you are with. Last night we chose Crossroads for dinner with our good friends Aimee & Adam; both companies get an "A" in our book. The menu was varied enough to be a thumbs up with sea food lovers plus appreciated by my sea-food hating husband. The atmosphere is more family oriented and for an older crowd. The crowd picked up around 6:30-7 with a mean age of 50-60. We were definitely the youngest people there. It seemed like a common place for the locals and I can see the comparison to "Cheers" that another reviewer mentioned. The restaurant is sectioned off into two rooms and a bar area. Each room is old in fashion and full of character. We sat in the the first room, the lighting was dim and it had a feel of being at someones home. The pricing was more then I expected but the quality of food was worth it. I had the Cajun Swordfish which I would highly recommend. Once in the car my husband and I agreed we would go again ourselves, and it would also be a great place to bring our in-laws.

Had dinner there a few weeks ago great food great service... Great owner had a blast....

I've lived in Warren my whole life( 23 years to be exact lol) and I've never been here. And it's right up the street! I couldn't be happier with the spontaneous turn my boyfriend and I took for dinner last night! I had to go with the classic Fish and Chips ( which was to die for! ) and my boyfriend had the rib eye steak! ( another amazing meal he loved! We will definitely be back to eat! Different ambiance than I was expecting. 3 different room styles to enjoy. We sat in the tree room! Lovely ! Although I would give this review a 5, I have to add, we noticed 1 waitress for the entire room, which meant she was slow to visit asking if we needed anything or coming back for the bill, she could have used some extra help. And our table was slightly slanted. Just a note :)

One of my favorites in Warren! Lobster salad sandwich with a bowl of that clam chowder is a meal fit for a king! Prime rib Wednesday is epic! A great place for family and friends. Absolutely love the waitresses and bartenders!

I have only been one time, a couple of weeks ago. I was driving home from work one day and the signed jumped out at me, although I never noticed it before. I mentioned it to my boyfriend, who remembered eating there once with his mom, and said it was awesome! They made a great dark and stormy, delicious calamari, and we enjoyed a special they had that night: broccoli and cheese baked potato skins. For dessert we ordered the tiramisu. It was the best tiramisu I've ever had! Better than the one at the expensive up scale Italian restaurant in Bristol even. I am REALLY excited to come back soon because the menu was extensive and had a LOT of tasty sounding things on it that I can't wait to put in my belly. The lay out of this place is so different and cool! It does sort of have a dated feel to it, but I really enjoyed the personality of this place. The rooms are spacious and the tables are well spread out. The solarium room is... unique :) I wasn't really feeling it the first time, but maybe I'll check it out the next time. The service was fun, friendly, and efficient.

I've been going here for over twenty years... always great food and service. The chowder, ribs, steak sandwich, and fish & chips are faves. I was, however, slightly disappointed with the fish and chips portion this evening which was small but still $17... rather steep for one medium sized filet and some pub fries.

When the dust has settled and you've chucked what's left of your stomped golf clubs into the bay, Crossroads Pub is a welcome distraction. Busy most nights, with hearty food, lovely waitresses, pleasant regulars, a fat TV and a gorgeous bar, Crossroads Pub is where you take a friendly octopus when you've lost all your limbs. It's like "Cheers", only more cheerful. Like magic, a tall Guinness and a crispy New York Rachel turned my silly golf tragedy into an epic of forgettable proportions.

The first time I ever ate at this place was on Mothers Day 2013 and because my 2 year old was acting up we had to get it to go. Tell you what... It was one of the best prime rib plates I've ever had. I had to call back the restaurant after this meal and speak with the manager and explain that my "take out order of prime rib was incredible". Fathers Day 2014 we had to verify this phenomenon was for real. And I could not believe it was so true. The prime rib runs on certain nights, but being Fathers Day they had available on Sunday. THANK YOU Crossroads! Before the prime rib I had to give the white chowder a try. Let me say that as a New Englander eating chowder my entire life and going to the Newport Chowder Festival every year since 2007......this place could be first place every year. Yes it's that good. Thank you once again Crossroads! Last but not least my 3 year wanted to go home so we had to order dessert to go. All I can say is that I hit the triple crown of food on Fathers Day with their chocolate cake. It's so good it shoul be illegal to leave the restaurant. (Note I'm not a big dessert fan). This chocolate was delicious. I would like to thank Crossroads for nailing it right on the head for my special Fathers Day and will recommend this place to anyone looking for a great atmosphere, friendly service and stupid good eats!

My friend & I had Yankee Pot roast last night (Nov. 3). It was 1/2+ inches thick slices of "spongy, beef flavored "mystery meat. Peas & carrots tasted like the refrigerator, French Onion soup had a greasy glob of cheese that couldn't be cut with a knife. Mashed potatoes were bland. Our other friend had baked fish, skimpy portion. We told the waitress, who was more interested in the Patriots game, than service, our disappointment. She said all she could do is "pass it on". This restaurant it off our list & we will never recommend it.

Crossroads is a typical Rhode Island institution eatery. The menu is seafood heavy with Portuguese & Italian influence and altogether uninteresting. I knew how everything tasted before I ordered so I had our waitress order for me. She was attentive, memorized our orders and knew the regulars seated around us. My water glass was always full, food came on time and the meal went clockwork, but a little too much so. I got the sense that every interaction with the waitress was so expected that she was leading with an answer before I finished asking. When I tried to mix it up a little she welcomed the escape but there are some heavily rutted roads in that establishment. I think you eat at Crossroads because your parents ate at Crossroads, and still do. Expect a trustworthy, albeit boring, meal.

I've got to admit at first glance I was not huge on Crossroads. It had an "early bird special" feel all over it. But once you open your menu it's all good. A huge menuof truly great selections from any fried seafood options (the fishermans platter has been a go-to for me, many times) my girlfriend loves their creamy seafood pasta selections. (And I always make sure to steal a bite... Or two... Or three lol) great beer selection and plenty of daily specials. Try to sit in the tree room!

If you are in the East Bay area and you want a great dinner at a great price with excellent service Crossroad Pub is the place to go. My favorite sandwich is the Tuna Melt. Easily the best I have ever had. It comes with Pub Fries. I also order Linguini with clear clam sauce. Not only is this dish awesome in every way, but it comes with a salad (always fresh) and is enough, easily, for two people. For dessert, I recommend the Apple Bread Pudding with ice cream. It will "blow your head off". The wait staff there is experienced. In fact, in all my years going there I seldom see a new face. So the service is never short of excellent. Simply put, Crossroad Pub is the best deal for the best price in the East Bay area. Excellent food, great service, always a table available and a nice, cozy atmosphere. As a resident of East Bay for most of my life, I highly recommend Crossroad Pub for a great overall experience. (Great place for the family too).

We enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. The French onion soup was not very good, pretty tasteless but everything else was enjoyable. Wednesday night is $9.99 Prime Rob night. Worth the trip!
(3)Coral D.
Went here for lunch. Steak sandwich is delicious. I love their onion rings. Staff is very friendly.
(5)Meg M.
It's easy to drive right by this place without a glance, but Crossroads is a little diamond in the rough. VERY reasonably priced, excellent service and really great food. It is always busy when I have been, which is a good sign! There are 3 rooms, the busy little bar when you walk in, a slightly 80's jungle-y middle dining room with white lights and tree plant things and a back room dining area. The lobster roll is very large and the burger delicious. Oh, I have to mention the stiff $8 Cosmo with a side car that was amazeballs. Great buzz, almost 2 drinks for 8 bucks! Can't beat that with a stick. A great choice for an affordable night out.
(4)Carrie P.
My fiancé has a seafood allergy and we struggle to find a place that keeps the fryer oils separate. This place does and the food was awesome!!!!!! We both had the buffalo chicken salad and mmmmmm! We will be back!
(5)Jean F.
Mid week I met Mama R for lunch and we went to Crossroads. I've been quite a few times in the past, but not recently. We each got 1/2 sandwich, I also had a salad and Mom had the soup. Everything was super fresh and delicious. The lobster roll was great, not too mayo-y but surprised it wasn't served on a hotdog bun...still wonderful! I'll def head back here again for lunch (or dinner) if I'm in the mood for good fresh food and casual ambiance.
(4)Joan S.
Didn't even know this place existed! The prime rib was so juicy and shrimp cocktail succulent. Chicken pasta with cream sauce out of this world. Really good. We will def be back again!

I have been going to the Crossroad Pub my entire life. I fall in and out of love with it and am happy to say I am back in love. They finally nailed the warm and cozy theme of a great Irish pub. They have tried over the years to be upscale and fancy but this is their sweet spot. The food is very good and the menu has nice simple rotating variety. Great bar area for a nice weekend stay :-)
(4)Dave P.
Order the burger! These folks know how to cook 'em, and top 'em. I ordered mine medium rare with grilled onions, blue cheese crumbles, and bacon. I couldn't have been happier! The big steak fries were delicious, but I only ate 6 of them because the burger was so big and tasty. This was my first time here. It's late October and the place is decorated for Halloween. Fun! Try this place and POST if you aren't as impressed with the burger as I am... I'll be surprised if you're not delighted...
(4)Stephanie K.
Great local place with really good food and its not going to break the bank. Not the best looking place but the service and the food are consistent. When you don't want to cook and you want a good meal than we go to the crossroad!
(4)Bill O.
Crossroads is a tough place to review. They have a large, diverse menu - which they manage reasonably well - and friendly staff, but lately, the overall quality feels like it has slipped. What used to be a "old standby" for a weeknight meal now gets passed over. Perhaps I'm just on a streak of choosing poorly - but the food has gone from "good" to "blah." And in this day and age (and economy) "blah" doesn't cut it. Really a 2 1/2 star review - primarily for past experiences. Sit at the bar - the bartenders are good (and friendly) - and the bar (w/ the giant rhino head on the wall) is a better atmosphere than the fairly odd "garden room."
(3)Mark S.
I haven't been in a while but used to go at least once a week. The menu is large and they have great sandwiches. They used to have killer pub fries with a spicy cheese sauce on the side. I highly recommend the tuna melt.
(4)Todd L.
The food is very good and priced very moderately. The service staff is a little slow and not very consistent. It is still a great place for the money. We visit this place frequently and always pick the fried clams and fish plate or the Little Neck Clams Zuppa. Definitely recommend.
(4)Dan S.
This is a great place for a casual lunch or dinner. They have a lunch menu that offers something for everyone from burgers to deli sandwiches to lite full meals. The staff is hard working and aim to please. As it is just a mile down the street from where I work; this is a reliable spot to take customers and other visitors. I can honestly say that I have never had a bad meal here and recommend it to friends all the time. The dinner menu is a little more expensive but worth it. There are three different spaces in the restaurant where you can be served: the bar area with adjoining dining room has a gas fireplace; in the next space you will find a brick floor, skylites and trees reaching up into the ceiling; finally there is the original pub space which is dark and, well, pub-like. Worth a visit!
