Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Since moving to the area we've had take out from here twice. The first was pizza- which was average to good and the second was a grinder and spinach pie. I believe the dough is homeade and is good (I personnally would add a bit more salt to make it pop). My spinach pie had pros and cons...the dough again tasted fresh but the inside spinach wasn't salted enough and my added topping of sundried tomatoes came with huge, tougher rounds of sundried tomato that I ended up just taking out. Overall I was happy that the spinach pie wasn't overly greasy and I just added my own salt (no...I'm not a salt addict :)) We will probably order again. My husband who is more of the pizza person was happy with both the pizza and hamburger sub he received.

this is a great place to take your family. The pizza is very good and i don't know why the last review didn't enjoy this place at all. i received great service and i couldn't complain. the menu has many kinds of pizza. some you would never think of. always come here if you are having people over your house. They also deliver and you can pick it up too

Perhaps the best pizza in the country. I've lived in 42 states. This place is hard to beat. Any size pizza is fantastic! The pepperoni is perfectly curled up on the pie. Sauce just dances on your taste buds.

This is by far my favorite pizza place in the area. We are regulars and Tony is always nice and takes time to talk to my husband and I even if he is busy. The restaurant is always busy and the food is always delicious.

One of best pizza place in the town of Smithfield. I know that place whole of my life. They are running business by family. The food are good, and service are good as always even on Friday night business.

Was our go to pizza place growing up but has unfortunately gone downhill in recent years... still enjoyable but there is much better out there.

So we decided to try Tony's pizza since there aren't many pizza places in Smithfield. I was disappointed because I had figured it would be good. The pizza was just very average nothing special at all and the large was tiny and over priced. I don't see a reason to ever order from here again.

As a lifetime eater of this restaurant, I recommend it to anyone who needs a refresher in what real pizza is. I consider Tony's to be the best in the state, and frankly, Still to date the best Pizza I have ever had *including compared to the ever so overrated new york pizza and other states such as Connecticut, New Jersey, Massachusetts and Maine* None compare to the tasty sauce * and I HATE tomatoes, but theirs is just too good to hate!* wonderful mix of cheeses, and the crust, their crust has stayed the same crispy delicious golden wonder I have known my whole life. They have a wide range of items, and their calzones, spinach pies and sandwiches are all delicious. Their onions rings are always crispy and just salty enough and the fries are always perfect. I put Tony's Pizza against any, I guarantee, they will come out the winner! The main and only regret, is that the owner of Tony's passed away last year, which came as a shock to me and my family. Gus was a spirit of love and life, always smiling and laughing and causing a loudness. but because of the absence of Gus, the atmosphere is not as loud and fun as it used to be, but is still great. The uniform is a homage to the former owner, donning a caricature of Gus with the words home of the Crazy Greek. It adds a loving family touch to an already very family like atmosphere. Please make sure to go by, the food is more than enough to get you there, the people and the love make you stay!

Love this place. I've been coming here since I was a kid. French fries are amazing, pizza great too.

Surprising I usually hate Greek pizza parlors. The pizza has that same boring taste and crust thicker and oddly greasy. This place was much different, first, I am giving this place an extra star because of the decor. It has that 70's look with the stained glass light shades and that cool yellow wall look that makes me feel like I did when I was a kid and my folks would bring the family out to the pizza parlor and get pizzas and order a pitcher of beer. That idea seems to be dead these days. TIP: Eat in and relax We ordered the Tony's Special Pizza and a steak and cheese grinder. The pizza had quality ingredients and cooked well done as we ordered. Not your typical mushy crappy sauced Greek pizza. The steak sandwich was sliced ribeye steak and it was delicious. The people who work here have all worked here for years and were very nice and funny. Pizza, grinder, and a few beers. 30 bucks with tip, so a pretty good value. Highly recommend Thanks

After my fifth straight pizza delivery from them, I owe a yelp review since that's where I found them. Have lived in Georgiaville for almost 4 years and this is the best pizza if you don't want a chain. Delicious every time. So happy to have quality pizza available for delivery.

This place is delicious and very reasonably priced. We tried it for the first time last week and already ordered take out less than one week later. Some of the best pizza I've had in a long time. From the crust to the sauce, they do it right. Great flavor and the crust has just enough crunch. We ordered large fries and a Caesar salad with dinner as well. The fries were very good and a large order is enough for an entire table or family. Order a small if you only have two people. Caesar dressing tasted homemade, loved it. In fact everything tasted very fresh. We will be going back here on a regular basis.

This is our family's go-to pizza place. The dough & ingredients are always fresh, the people there are friendly, and the prices are reasonable. With 2 teenaged sons, when we eat pizza, we EAT PIZZA.

I like this pizza a lot, but when I walk in, it feels like everyone gives you the "You aren't from Smithfield" look. I do think this is probably the best pizza in Smithfield, though. It's good ol' pan pizza, not the thick kind, but it's got the right amount of sauce, cheese and little bit of char to the crust, which is just the right amount of crispy.

Short review warning; Had a pepperoni pizza delivered. Crust may have been crispier fresh, but it was very good. Rest of the experience was also right on. The only thing that didn't impress me was the 'morning after test'. Great pizza makes for a great snack cold, this one was just fair, but stars are for the night before!

So, 10pm comes and goes last night and I realized that I haven't eaten, and its time to order something. Make a long story short, I called "Uncle Tony's" which just recently opened down in Johnston. "I'm sorry sir but we close at 10pm" No big deal, I called at 10:03pm and even if I called 10 minutes earlier, I wouldn't want to be "that guy" keeping the kitchen working. So I figured I would call Tony's just to see what time they close. Sure enough, when I called at 10:10pm, they said they closed at 10pm, however, they followed it up with a "well we are still here, we can make you whatever you want, its no problem at all." I initially declined just because I felt bad, but the guy I spoke with was very persistent, with his little old timer accent, love it... "No no no please listen, you are our customer, we want you to eat, I wanna make-a something for you please tell-a me whatta you want." At this point I"m dying laughing but at the same time, in awe and impressed that this person is this passionate and persistent about making me some food. So I ordered a large cheese pepperoni and mushroom and went to go pick it up. Thanked them up and down a wall, and when I tried to give them a nice tip for doing this for me, they even denied that! There were two people, a woman (who I think it is her family's place) and the cook who had the Mario and Luigi mustache lol. Both of them, saying "no no no please no tip no no its ok please no" So I left it on the counter and told them that if they don't want it, they can put it in the little charity can that they had next to the register. I want to give this place more business. As for the pizza, it was delicious. Nice and well done like I asked, good amount of toppings. Better than most pizzas i've had to say the least.
