Great local Chinese restaurant. Good food, good prices and quick service. The waitress is always in a good mood. The owners are the cooks and are there to please.

Food was nice and hot, a lot of flavor. Had the General Toas chicken, all white meat and was good. Good portion for lunch. Service was fast and hostess was friendly and attentive.

Seriously. I ADORE Mei Sing. Wonderfully convenient (I drive by every evening on the way home from work), wonderfully cheap and wonderfully delicious, I haven't had a poorly made order yet. On the whole, their menu is pretty standard Chinese take-out with a few twists and turns (ie: lots of scallop dishes, sliced pork as an appetizer, NYC style chow mein which is surprisingly difficult to find in the area, & so forth). It's the quality and taste that purely keep me going back for more. Unlike other Asian "fast food" joints, Mei Sing literally cooks up every batch hot, fresh and made to order. Each and every time I've actually had to let everything cool for a couple minutes before digging in for fear of scalding myself (totally unappealing). Even the most tired of Chinese take out dishes have that little something extra special added for an unique and surprisingly delicious experience: their General Tso's chicken is a delectably tart, spicy & crisp punch on my taste buds while I am just simply in love with their boiled dumplings. There's something mysteriously different in taste (and no folks, it's not MSG) that sets them apart from the others. To add, they also offer a fab "all day dinner" menu that includes combos with multiple items. Love it. The girl behind the counter is as sweet as Splenda. Always happy to joke and chat with us, I've never seen her without a smile yet! If there's one thing I appreciate, perhaps more so than the food itself, is wonderful service. All too rare nowadays, it's refreshing to be treated like a person and not just another wallet walkin' in through the door. We have yet to actually dine in but at some point I would definitely like to: the atmosphere is cozy, diner-like and always clean. Should you be in the area, I absolutely recommend Mei Sing. If anything I'm a little surprised no one else has reviewed this rockin' place. Bonus: they're open as late as 12 am on Fri & Sat and deliver to businesses.

The food is excellent and has been for the 6 years I have been going. The portions are very generous, not sure what the Tiverton review is all about but I defintely disagree with her. I agree with all the rest of the positive reviews since I have had the same experience.

Nice little Chinese takeout place close to my bf's house so very convenient for those easy dinner nights. I've never had any issues and the food is typical Chinese American fare. Great prices for lunch as it is for most Chinese takeout places. There is plenty of space if you choose to eat in. The staff is always very professional and nice.

If I'm ever looking for some good Chinese take out then this is where I get it. While on the phone the people who attend it are always pleasant and the delivery is always quick. The food is good every single time I get it. I love the noodles! A lot of places only carry lo mein with the vegetables but at this place they serve it plain as well.Good service and great food, that's what I get every single time.

We live close to here and order frequently. Food and service is good. Delivery is quick. The dinning area could use some updating.

The last few times we took out good boy oh boy was the food horrible. Today being the worst!!! Talk about ginger over kill! Horrible!!! We ordered sticky wings and general tso chicken and both had a crazy amount of chopped ginger, it was ridiculous!

I take it all back, I've really enjoyed Mei Sing lately. Like, a lot. Too much. I love their crab rangoons and boneless spare ribs, but their beef teriyaki is always hit or miss for me, maybe too much fish/oyster sauce but sometimes they're downright unpleasant.

Very nice people, however....the chicken fingers are reallllly hard, could not bite through it. The duck sauce is really disgusting. The boneless spare ribs were very fatty and the crab Rangoon too cream-cheese with a bizarre texture. Will not be returning. The search continues

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
