Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

Just got a whole perfectly cooked duck and four bags pork and veggie dumplings! No ordering out this month! Yay! UPDATE Just finished dinner. I had gotten couple of bags of frozen Pork with Leek dumplings here. Came home, steamed, then lightly fried them, made the same exact dark dipping sauce u get with dumplings at Chinese restaurants, and all I can say is...FOOD HEAVEN! I just really dont need to have Chinese delivered anymore! One bag comfortably feeds 3 hungry adults, and these dumplings were ready in under 15 minutes, and OUT OF CONTROL yummy, 5 bucks for a bag. Very happy ppl here! Will be going back many times to shop there! The owner was very nice too! She helped my decide what kind to buy, they sell 4 different kinds there.

I was going about my usual business on Yelp and I got a random message to check out New Wing Kee. Lucky for them, I was actively looking for a Chinese BBQ place in the area. I had practically given up because most places in Rhode Island were primarily restaurants that sold American Chinese food and had poorly made Char Siu or roast duck. Since I had the morning off, I decided to check them out. First out, I can see why they needed to send me a message before I heard about them. This place is completely hidden in a residential area next to a store that is completely abandoned. Even when I found the side street that it was on, I wasn't even sure I had found the right store when I was staring at the store front. Luckily I had the guts to go inside and realized I had arrived. They are minimalists here with a small selection of Asian cooking products. By the cashier is where the BBQ is. Like any genuine BBQ place, they have the display of roast pig and duck hanging with juice glistening on the skin. They had just brought out 2 newly roasted ducks and I quickly jumped and purchased a whole one all to myself I also got the bbq pork which was fantastic. All for a reasonable price. They didn't have a whole lot of food available but I was lucky to get everything that I wanted. I can see if you came later in the day that they would run out. If they had better traffic, this place could be THE place for those of you looking to get Chinese bbq. I just wish they were closer and easier to find but at least I know they exist! They do take credit cards but not American Express.

This is a little Hole in the Wall, right around the area where Broad and Elmwood split. They have a small grocery area, but the star of the show is the BBQ station. They usually have Roast Duck, Soy Chicken, Roast Pork (crispy), Roast tenderloin (Char Siu). The prices are reasonable and you can get stuff by the pound or if talking about duck or chicken...whole or half. Not many places around Providence have Chinese BBQ meats, so this is definitely a great find !! This is not the place to look for Americanized fare, you will see the head of the poultry and some people find that disturbing. I grew up eating like that, so for me...it's great... The Soy Chicken was moist, delicious and fresh. Check it out !!

The best Duck in town! I've been coming here for years and the recipe never changes. The roasted ducks are to die for. You can order a whole, half a duck, and they chop them up for you if you like. Its cheap but delicious and so worth it. I always prefer mine cut. They cut them perfectly. My mouth is watering just talking about it. Time to get my duck fix!

Thee best roasted duck and pork in town. If you don't believe me .. Go get some. They make it fresh every morning and if it sells out .. It sells out. Fresh and yummy! Doesn't get any better.

this hole in the wall carry-out chinese place has apparently been open for over 16 years and looks it. it's a bargain for chinese bbq meats and definitely worth checking out.

My daughter found a Chinese BBQ Deli in Providence that makes BBQ Pork, Roast Peking Duck, and Roast Pork. They also sell a limited variety of Chinese grocery items. The nearest place to get Chinese BBQ is 1 hour away in Boston's Chinatown. A great find in Providence.
