Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Golden Crust used to be better 10 years ago but we still order the buffer chicken pizza sometimes to reminisce. The pizza is sort of tasteless. The crust is bland and doughy, the cheese is bland and greasy and without fail there are always only two little (and too little)pieces of buff chicken to each slice of pizza. I did used to like the steak and buffalo chicken combo sub but haven't had one in a while. Step up your game golden crust, your not quality.

They are around the corner and they deliver. I also get to be true to form antisocial when ordering online. I was without a vehicle for a few weeks, grocery shopping hadn't been done and I was very hungry on a sunday night. What's a girl to do? She then realizes Monday is a holiday, and she's not working, therefore needs to feed herself at home that day. WIshing she wasn't about to, she makes the plunge and orders GC online. The pizzas are solid, I've gotten a premade one and have customized one. Typically I order a small pizza and a greek salad and the 2 items feed me for a couple of days and they don't break the bank. I wish they had an option to order extra sauce though, I feel like that is sort of lacking on their pizza, then again maybe I just like lots of sauce on things. I'm sure the next time I find myself not wanting to leave the house or not able to (take that as you wish) I'll be opening up a browser and ordering something else from GC.

If you're looking for fancy, high-quality pizza, don't bother with Golden Crust. This is a place strictly for drunk food and comfort food, but they do it really well. For years I have loved their buffalo chicken pizza. It is LOADED with cheese and has just the right amount of spicy chicken. And it comes with plenty of bleu cheese for dipping... enough for every bite. If it's been a long hard day and you really need something greasy and satisfying, get this pizza. Most of their other pizzas are pretty good too, and they totally live up to the name "Golden Crust." Their crust is crispy and golden on the outside but nice and doughy on the inside. When I order from here I mostly stick to the pizzas, but their buffalo wings are pretty decent too. They're not the super messy saucy kind, but are made with a buffalo batter. Not the best I've had, but the wings are pretty good size and good quality. Delivery was super quick when I lived in the PC area, but since moving it's (understandably) taken a while longer to get my pizza. I've never waited more than 45 minutes, and the food had always been hot. The drivers are also typically very nice.

Let me start off by saying that I absolutely love gc. Their buffalo pizza is awesome. However the last three times I've ordered delivery they were not a minute under a three hour wait when the estimate is 1 hour. I've even called in to inquiry as to what the he'll wad going on and it's always the same story. The drivers on his way. Sadly enough I can't remember what a warm pizza taste like from golden crust because by the time it gets to my door it's cold. I've given then the benefit of the doubt time and time again. Do your self a favor. If your ordering from golden crust make sure it's for pick up.

I absolutely love GC. Where does one start, buffalo chicken pizza just tell them a little crispy and you'll understand why it's one of the busiest pizza places in this area. Crispy or grilled chicken salad with ranch is a favorite of mine because you can eat salad to your hearts delight and have leftovers for a dinner wrap. The pasta dinners are cheap, come with bread sticks and are enough for 2-3 people. Buffalo tenders, Greek pizza, veggie pizza, buffalo chicken subs and steak are great.

Got a small pepperoni and onion pizza here last night, $9.00 and change, I've had donuts that were bigger. Not only was it very small it was soggy. First and last time for me.

I will literally never order from here again I got a barbecue chicken calzone and no where did it state there is onion and I'm allergic to onion and I was sick all day and couldn't call till the next day and kept the calzone for proof and try said there's nothing we can do that's your fault

I've been ordering pizza here since I went to PC over 10 years ago. The quality is no longer there. The pizza sucks and the lady that works there is rude and has horrible customer service. They get the order wrong half the time as well and do not do anything to resolve it. Don't waste your time and order somewhere else.

Honestly, was not impressed at all. I ordered a buffalo chicken warp which was okay but nothing I would order again. The chips that came with it were chewy... don't know if they're home made chips or not but should probably rethink the recipe if so. I also ordered the calamari salad which was also nothing special.. Literally was just calamari thrown onto some greens with green peppers, onions, black olives and a few cucumbers & tomatoes... could of made it myself at home minus the calamari which didn't have too much taste to it anyway. Don't think I'll be ordering from here again... save the trouble and get something worth your money.

Took my whole order at 3:am jus to tell me at the end they don't deliver to my area... This is not the first time I ordered, they have great food and delivered to me before... Why shut me down this late when no one else delivers..... Disappointed
(1)David M.
NASTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! don't waste your money and time i took 2hrs to deliver the pizza when it arrived it was supperrrr colddd i think i could of made a better pizza with my eyes closed only plus is that they are open late

GC is the best. even 3.am in the morning they quality service good subs I love it.
(5)Phoebe R.
Look, you need to take Golden Crust for what it is. It's open until 4 AM, it serves 4 AM purposes. Buffalo chicken pizza can't be beat here. So. Much. Cheese. Quick delivery, reasonable prices and can't complain about the food. Don't order from here if you're thinking you'll get a quality Italian meal, but definitely do if you're coming home late and want something totally unhealthy and wonderful.

the worst service ever. i ordered off the grubhub app and i don't eat bacon or onions which is on a bbq chicken pizza but noooooo they want to be difficult and call us and say we cannot order substitutions and it must be a build your own pizza. it's a dollar more that way but who f***in cares!!!! why treat your costumers like crap for a buck.. why be so difficult. they are expensive as it is and i never order from them because i like 5 herb pizza because it's closer and prices are more reasonable, but they were closed and golden crust is only place open at this time. now we are in the process of calling grubhub customer service because they said we have to cancel through them and then replace the order!!!! this is absolutely ridiculousssssssssssss!!!!!!

This small, cheap and tasty pizzeria is no stranger to my household. I order delivery from here atleast a few times a week if not every other week. I've tried just about half of their menu from the delicious Pizza, Burger Wrap, Pasta dinners, Fish and Chips, Seafood, Mac and Cheese Bites, Mozzarella Sticks, B.L.T, even their famous "PC Steak" wrap, but in the end, my favorite thing to order from them is definitely the Buffalo Chicken. I always ask for extra hot sause on the side because I'm a sucker for spice. Excellent people too, I always tip them. I'm not a PC student and I may not know about these "drunk nights" but what I do know is that Golden Crust really is home of the Buffalo Chicken! FIVE stars!

Golden Crust is my go to place for late night delivery. I feel that the quality of the pizza surpasses my standards for 3am delivery. Much better than the other late night competition. They deliver the full menu till 4am, they don't just do pizza and calzones like the other guys and they actually have real crust, not that frozen crap. The service is always good and the person whom takes my order is usually polite and friendly, its hard to get good service at 3am after dealing with a bunch of drunk kids all night but they pull it off. They don't skimp you on the sauce and cheese which is a HUGE plus in my book. I like pizza with actual sauce on it not just a tablespoon. I cant say anything about the place itself as I always do delivery but they are okay in my book! There is better, but these guys know whats up! Give them a try!

Worst experience. Ordered fries and mac & cheese bites and it took over an hour and a half to get here. Alls the phone waitress said was that we could cancel the order and be reimburst, but we wanted our food. Will never order here again
(1)Vanessa M.
The calamari was just ok, was disappointed with the tartar sauce...they have you pay extra for it, and you get th is dinky little cup that amounts to about a tsp. I thought the pizza toppings were delicious, but the crust was terrible, though my husband loved the pizza.
(2)Shannon D.
Not the best, not the worst either though. The Golden Fries were very good but the rest of the food is pretty greasy so for me (someone who likes to eat pretty healthy) it's not a place I see myself visiting here again for a while.
(3)Joe M.
Pretty bad, but better than Frankly's, and better location. It's still cheap drunk food but you can do worse, especially at two in the morning. Always a good crowd, always entertaining.
(2)Kim S.
Bad customer service! I'm so sick of places with bad customer service and any company that displays it deserves one star.
(1)Harry H.
A good cheap, late-night source of "nourishment" (read "drunk food").
(4)Sarah B.
Not that great pizza but okay price.
(2)Bridget B.
Golden Crust gets two stars, and both are for experience. By "experience," I am referring to the irreplacable moments you will be sure to witness if you head there after 11:30 pm on any night. It's a magnet for drunk PC kids who either love late-night pizza, blue cheese, or people-watching, wasted-style. I fall into the latter category, and stood by my policy that "Golden Crust will give you a worse hangover than the alcohol." I saved myself many stomachaches and guilty Sunday gym trips......

I'm a regular at their Smith St. location, mainly because they deliver fast and the pizza is pretty good. It's not the best I've ever had (to be fair, though, I've tried a lot of pizza!). The crust is inconsistent. Some days the dough is fresh and other times, it's kind of dried out. It's also breadier than I would like. I prefer the really thin soft crust. But they do put a lot of cheese and other toppings on the pizza (bonus points for that). And they're always friendly, the pizza is delivered fast, and the prices are reasonable. All of that keeps me coming back.

Oh man, I can't wait for alumni weekend. So many memories of eating GC with blue cheese.
(5)Erin G.
This place is awesome. It's definitely a Providence College late night pizza place. Excellent pizza, long lines after the bars close. You can also wait for hours late night. Prices go up after 11, still worth it. Love this place!
