Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

LADIES BEWARE! The OWNER of this restaurant is a total CREEP! PLEASE READ: My female friend and I came into this dump last night and after greeting us, the owner told my friend that he liked her tattoo sleeves. Of course, she smiled and thanked him but it didn't end there. He then grabbed his computer that was sitting on the counter behind him and started showing us pictures of NAKED girls with tattoos from a facebook group he follows... "I really, really like girls like that. Girls like you," he kept telling her. (Now, keep in mind, we are 22 year old GIRLS and he is a 50 year old man.) "Wow, this isn't creepy or anything," I said to him sarcastically. He then put the laptop back on the counter but just left the laptop open with the X-pictures displayed for everyone to see!! We asked him to close his laptop & he does... This guy is still acting like nothing is wrong with the way he is acting. So we awkwardly told him what kind of pizza we wanted and ordered two water bottles from the cooler behind the counter. We paid for our food and asked for our drinks; he told us to "come around the counter and get them ourselves." If it weren't for the fact that there was ONE GUY eating in the place, I would think we were about to be under attack if you know what I mean.... He wants us to come around the counter just to get a cheap look at my friend's butt? I went around and got both our waters. We then went outside to eat. And he followed us outside to continue chatting with us. CREEPY doesn't even begin to cover this. This old dude is standing here asking us if we have boyfriends (yes & yes) and then asked if my friend "likes" him. UHM, NO DUDE, YOU'RE OLD AND CREEPY. Of course, we are classy ladies and we just walked away from the situation before we were verbally assaulted anymore. THIS PLACE IS IN THE CLUB DISTRICT IN DOWNTOWN PROV-- LADIES, DO NOT GO IN HERE. DO NOT SUPPORT DISGUSTING PIGS THAT TALK TO WOMEN LIKE THEY'RE ONLY ON EARTH FOR SEXUAL PURPOSES, THIS IS A CLASS A, STAGE 5, CODE RED, CREEP AND A POSSIBLE SEXUAL PREDATOR. FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY, DO NOT COME HERE. GUYS TOO, IF YOU LOVE YOUR LADIES AND YOU WOULD DO ANYTHING TO PROTECT HER, DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS.

I have been to Flame Several times and I have to disagree with Cabernet's review, it was excellent. I ordered a large veggie pizza to share with friends. It was hot out of the oven and all the ingredients were fresh. I think you cannot find a better pizza in Downtown for this value.

This is the place late at night when you need something a little greesy and yummy to hold you over on your car ride home. Plenty of soft drinks and water to choose from and always a great selection of pizza. Saturday night they had a spinach mushroom pizza, buffalo chicken pizza, cheese pizza and pepperoni pizza. I bought a slice of pepperoni, spinach and buffalo slice. All where good with thin dough which I love, buffalo one was better then the other two, pepper I had the most grease but wasn't over powering . Their red pizza sauce isn't overly sweet or tangy and not chunky. Prices aren't bad for a slice for late night service, also wasn't busy when I went at 1230am which was nice they get packed as soon as the bars/clubs let out but line goes quickly. Note you can't use bathroom unless you buy something, Amal tables in front of restaurant you can sit and eat. You can buy by the slice or an entire pizza. Owner is always a nice guy/friendly, I've been here at least 4 times since summer!

I am incredulous at how awful this was. Ordered mozzarella sticks advertised at 6.99, she punches it in as $7.99. (I didn't notice until after I sat down.) The food was burnt so badly that there was barely any cheese left in. Brought it to their attention that they rang it in wrong, and here's where 3 stars drops to 1: "oh the prices on the menu are wrong, nothing is correct." Um...what. Doesn't matter how hungry I get, I would rather starve than go back here.

They've re-branded as Sajo's Gourmet and their flyers are littering (literally) the streets of Providence. Don't plan to visit an establishment that doesn't care about the unnecessary trash they're creating with poorly placed paper ads.

This guy has been bouncing around Providence since 2004 setting up restaurants and not paying rent. He is a true creep and deadbeat. Do not support his business.

Generic overpriced slices. $2.50 for a cheese and $3.00 for a pepperoni that was bad. The old guy who seemed to run the place seemed to have some little weird mannerisms that were quite off-putting. Yelled a lot at his staff and even though there was nothing going on, ignored me for a minute when I went in. I did get a laugh out of the 1999 Rhode Island's Best Chocolate Chip Cookie award that was hanging on the wall.

Ugh, just what Providence needs. Another pizza place with crusty dough and suspicious tasting toppings. Pizza places are popular ventures as they use low cost ingredients and have a low overhead. That's why you see so many spring up. Unfortunately, sometimes the low cost equals low quality as evidenced in the slices on offer here. Its a pity because this is a great location with access to students and offices and is surrounded by nightclubs. But I guess quality doesn't matter as the drunks that will patronize this place probably don't care too much about quality. Don't give their sandwiches a chance if youre looking for something good. They smell like the disappointment this place is.
