Love this place! Excellent for breakfast (served all day) and lunch! The day we were there it was all you can eat fish and chips and it was fab! Fish very fresh and great fries - not greasy at all. Great location to get in and out of and beats Flo's clam shack hands down! We will definitely be back!

It was great! We had breakfast here. Just love it! Will be back for the fish and chips

Delicious diner food. Best breakfast item is the Belgian waffle. Seriously so perfect and fluffy every time. For lunch you can get a fish melt which is basically a grilled cheese with fried fish in the middle, it is so yummy. All you can eat fish and chips on Friday nights for a reasonable price with the best cole slaw around, how can you beat that? Also don't forget to try the grape it pudding homemade deliciousness. FYI it's byob

The fried clams & scallops are excellent! Every Friday night all you can eat fish and chips is always fun too. The traditional diner items - especially the Philly cheese steak and bacon cheeseburger - are must-try items. If you have a sweet tooth make sure to try the tapioca pudding or the cheesecake.

I went to go have some breakfast and switch it up from our usual spot. So we decided to come in. Very small resturant hope it doesn't get busy and you have to wait for a table here ! It was cozy though . Walked in had seat yourself service I guess...no one even greeted us when we walked in the door . The bad part...I asked for my eggs over medium they came out over easy . My hash ....can u say it looked like it came out a can the cook put it on the stove to heat it up a little and threw it on my plate. And the home fries tasted flavor less .. The only good part was my raisin bread lol! For it bring such a small resturant with having two waitress' s you should never have to wait over 5 minutes before being seen in this 7 booth resturant . . Next time I guess I'll stick to the normal hang out !

I have been here dozen times. Every time asking for softly scrambled eggs an every time getting well done rubbery yuck! Also the fish thing on Friday - just oozing oil. Here's a tip - turn up the heat on the fryer so the fish isn't all soggy and gross. There is slim pickings for restaurants in Portsmouth but stay away. The hamburgers are like frozen Sysco burgers, can't make decent scrambled eggs, and soggy fried fish. Need I say more?

Stopped here on 3 different occasions in the last couple months. That should tell you it was good with me. Ha! Small inside with seating close to the rest. I'll say small town diner with local history and add popular. Friday all you can eat fish fry is darned good. Pretty good breakfast served by the waitresses that with throw you an occasional "hon" or "sweet" which I'm a total sucker for. For the size of the place they have a very large selection on the menu. I'll return visit.

This place doesn't have a lot of seating but 1pm on a Sunday wasn't a busy time to check this place out. It's a "seat yourself" establishment that serves breakfast all day (that's awesome cause all the other local breakfast places close at 1pm). Coffee and OJ were decent. Both homefries and hashbrowns were pretty undercooked and godawful. The overall consensus from everyone on the pancakes, scrambled eggs and bacon egg & cheese was the same: It wasn't BAD but it wasn't that good either. As for service, there was only one waitress for the whole place but she did a great job. Good news: for three meals, two OJ's and a coffee it was 14 bucks.

Reidy's is the quintessential greasy spoon. I spent many a morning eating breakfast here back in the day, as they make a good plate of food for a reasonable price. I recommend the strawberry waffle, which is light and crispy. They also make one fine glass of muddy-looking iced tea!

Lots of locals eat here regularly. The food isn't anything special but you'll fill your tummy for a reasonable price. I do think their fish n chips are good and the cole slaw is the best I've ever had.
