I am giving four stars only for the lobster roll. It is the only thing I've eaten there. And for a fast food chain it is really good. And can be served a couple different ways, roll, pocket, bun etc. Other than that, the service was fast, the place is clean and the staff very friendly.

A lot of excuses, lotta reasons why my sandwich didn't come out hot. It sat on the counter for 10 min waiting while staff chatted. If you must go to this location, stay on top of the staff.

Decent food. Average service. They have some nice new specials. Once a month on football Sunday we buy 2 number 9 steaks, and get a 3rd sandwich free. Three large number 9's for under $20 is a nice deal.

Call ahead during lunch time! LONG wait, but this BLT with cheese pocket is worth it! I will say its a little more pricey than other sandwich shops but its good. nothing fried available, just grilled steak & chicken or soups, salads or rice bowls I think.

This D'Angelos used to be perfect. The last 3 visits they have made my sandwiches totally wrong - either adding ingredients I didn't request or forgetting items all together. Not sure what has changed here in the last month but hope they get back to being accurate.

Thanksgiving sub is hit or miss. Either good or old and sloppy. The Italian is usually really good. Always clean and the help is generally very pleasant.

Great sandwiches. Especially the #9 steak and cheese

I love D'angelo... I really do. Hence this high rating. The sandwich I ate was perfectly made as I remember it from any other location, which is super important. For the price, the quality of the ingredients is great. My partner ate a sandwich and said, although tasty, all the ingredients didn't seem to be evenly distributed... so he got a bit of all peppers and then another bite of all sauce. That can be annoying for sure. The free refills on drinks is super useful, and the service was fast and relatively friendly. The one kicker. The thing that keeps me from giving a better rating... The place smelled like cat pee. I think they had just cleaned with an unfortunately-scented cleaner, because it certainly didn't look dirty at all. But boy, what a shame. It stunk and forced me to eat very quickly and get out of there. It's too bad.

This place use to be the best place to get a sandwich. Unfortunately on my last visit I had a horrible experience. When I asked for a Philly cheese steak the cashier was rude enough to respond "wrong state, wrong place". Then my sand which ended up having a hair in it. The service was horrible but what really upset me is that the manager was the cashier who treated me and my family so rude.

Updating my previous review from March 2014: I have returned to the Pawtucket D'Angelo's, however I now call ahead rather than ordering at the store...definitely worth it, especially if you are in a hurry. Give them 10-15 minutes to prepare your order. They seem to have had a changeover in staff with some positive results. That being said, they (along with other D'Angelo's, it must be a chain thing) updated their menu to remove some of my favorite sandwiches! Why they took off some delicious options and decided to permanently include the Thanksgiving sub (which looks gross in my opinion) I will not understand. However, the #9 and some other good standbys are still there.

Store smells like cat urine...are we using ammonia to clean? I hope so...service was good and quick.

almost always good sandwiches.wife likes the soups too. only thing i don't like is the way they changed their rewards card.used to be you could let points build up and use them now if don't use them in a certain time they expire.
