Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

We get take out from here all the time.... Very good food. Best crab Rangoon you will ever find....... We have friends that come all the way from Burrillvile for this food because it is the best they have ever had..... I would never eat in, it is more of a take out kind of place..... The amount of food you get is unbelievable for the price.

I ordered the Gen. Chicken combo with crab Rangoon for an app. The rice and crab Rangoon was good. The Gen. chicken was completely flavorless. The menu marked it ass Hot and Spicey. It was neither hot, Spicey or did it taste like generals chicken I've had from any other Chinese Restaraunt. Pawtucket Chinese food seems to be a miss. By they way, this Restaraunt is disgusting, it's interior looks like a public bathroom that has never been cleaned.

Hadn't stopped in for awhile, good food always, great value, looks like they have some renovations going on inside, convenient do take-out.

I've never actually been inside this venue, so I can't comment on its ambiance, but while we didn't care much for the egg rolls, the rest of the food seems pretty good so far. We liked the beef terriaki, chicken lo mein and general tsao's chicken. We've ordered twice from Canton Wok so far, and both times we had the same delivery driver who was punctual and very polite. Finally, perhaps in part for dramatic effect, they pack the containers so full of food so that they are literally overflowing, and then they further wrap them inside clear plastic bags. It really makes you feel like you're getting your money's worth.

The place is very small maybe 5 or 6 tables to eat at. The food is the same every time (large portions and flavor). The staff is very friendly and the food as always takes 10 minutes (it seems like all chinese restaurants say that). This is one of my go to places for take out every dinner comes with an appetizer for under $10 you can't beat that.

Good food, nice quality for takeout. Their portion sizes have yet to be topped for me, containers are always overflowing. The weight of the bag as we leave has been a running joke in my family. Love their crab rangoons, dumplings, and their fried rice, which is darker than you usually see, but very good.

This place could easily be overlooked...and in truth it was for me for two years, despite me living nearby. I stopped in Christmas night because it was open. I was pleasantly surprised...the garlic chicken has some punch...great flavor profile and then the heat hits...the portions are large and prices very reasonable (read:cheap) This is mostly a takeout place with only a couple of booths and tables and no bar. If the restaurant section was a bit cleaner it might have gotten the fifth star...but i'll take it as is.

We ordered from Canton wok and they said it would be twenty minutes. Five min later I called and asked if they would replace the pork fried rice in my vegetarian delight combination to plain since I don't eat any meat. The guy said no because it was already packaged so I told him I didn't want the combo and he was ok with that, not just changing the rice. Then we got home there was stuff missing from the order and the two different chicken combos purchased tasted the same and we're mushy blobs. When we called to tell them they forgot stuff the guy fought with my sister then told her to come pick it up.

Today was my second try at this place. First time I went, I ordered the boneless spare ribs lunch combo and it came with pork fried rice. The ribs are made the way I like them - dry, without a sticky sauce so that was a plus in my book. The fried rice was fine - definitely no big pieces of roast pork, more like specs of them. And the portion was HUGE! This was a lunch combo and after I ate, I felt like I didn't even make a dent! Today, I ordered the chicken lo mein lunch combo that also came with pork fried rice. For lunch combos, you have the option of adding only one of the following: an eggroll, spring roll, chicken wing, chicken finger, crab rangoon or fried wonton for an extra $1 - I chose to add on an eggroll. I liked that the lo mein noodles were the flat kind instead of the usual round kind at most Chinese restaurants - lo mein was flavorful and had plenty of chicken strips. Again, the fried rice was fine but with only specs of pork. The eggroll....I should've saved my dollar. I didn't care for it much - chock full of ground up celery. Overall, good portions for the money you pay - portions are huge and well worth it. They have a limited lunch combo menu but they have all day combination meals ranging from $5.65-$8.35 in which one of the above appetizers are included with no additional charge. It's about a 5 min drive from my workplace - so I will probably return, just not as often.

Worst worst Chinese take out food ever! How could they even serve food like this! I'm surprised this place has not shut down. I was on my way home from gym on Newport Ave, thought I give this place a chance bc it was convenient. I ordered the chef special, which is beef, chicken, shrimp, and vegetable stir fry. Beef was spoiled only veg was pea pod and bok Choy, it tasted spoiled too!! Fried rice saturated in soy sauce, also tasted spoiled. Egg drop soup and hot and sour soup we couldn't even eat, tossed it in trash!!! What a waste of my money!!! Who the hell would want to eat here!!! Never going back! Save your money for something better..

I'm giving them a star because they manage to stay open .This place once had decent food for a good price. They are for sure on the decline. After ordering canton walk I ordered general to's chicken with pork fried rice , boneless spare ribs , food was extremely tough as if I was a dog.. Taste like stale beef jersey...,duck sauce was watered down . Taste like apple sauce... after consuming the food I was forced to remain in my chair for the next 12 hours and my cat was also affected he chocked on the piece of chicken spit it out.... I began to vomit and it made me sick... My mouth also hurt for few days from chewing so much.... BTW there fried rice is white rice dipped in sauce .... don't attempt there food unless your CPR certified.....

This place used to be our go to spot but sadly the last few times we have ordered from them the chicken has mostly been unidentifiable, chewy/crunchy with a texture comparable to cartilage. I am at a loss here because now I don't know where to get my Chinese food fix. :(

A couple of years ago on a cold wintry night, I ordered a chicken chow mein combination plate. I figured it should be pretty good; we'll it wasn't bad but not great. Here is my major beef with them. It took forever !! I only live a couple of blocks; literally five minutes. Honestly, I thought they went too china too make it ! Then all of a sudden I got a phone call, it was their delivery driver who drove by my house. So I told them where to go. Then I get my meal and it was blah, just blah. I haven't ordered from them again.

I never ordered from here due to the outside appearance until this last Sunday. It was horrible. The appearance speaks for it's. The general tsao's was a big pile of mush. I should have returned it but didn't. I'll just never order from there again. The delivery guy was nice! That's the only reason for having a one star review.
