I think this place has changed hands or recently revamped. We had General Tso's with broccoli, spring rolls, pork fried rice and hot & sour soup and it was truly good. Plus fast delivery. Liked the food better than China Star.

Should be named "Sort of Good Friend, that you pretend not to notice and then walk the other way" Chinese Restaurant. It's decent Chinese, but I once had to wait over an hour for delivery. The food is okay, but you can find better in Newport. **However, they are one of the few places that will deliver onbase at Naval Station Newport**

A small hole in the wall Chinese Buffet hidden behind the 7-Eleven. I honestly wasn't expecting much when we walked up, but one of our contacts at the Naval Station recommended it so we stuck it out. Again it's small, there's only a few tables, a couple of rows of buffet dishes and you get your own soda and put your dishes in the bin for the dishwasher. But the food is actually pretty damn good and it's cheap. I've eaten at plenty of other Chinese Buffets that were much nicer as far as the ambiance but didn't come close to tasting that good. I'll definitely be back.

Let's start with the good. I called to place an order for delivery and the man who answered the phone was friendly. Also, our order arrived within 20 minutes. The rice was good and everything was hot. The egg rolls and spring rolls were decent. However, the lemon chicken sauce was bitter and disappointing. The general tso's chicken had NO spice at all, actually it had no flavor at all. It was just sweet. Also, considering that it was standard, cheap Chinese food, spending 30 dollars to feed two people was pretty steep. Not worth the price, but we're only here for a few days so I can't recommend anywhere better.

I've been eating here for about 15 years and I have seen the food quality go up and down. Since lunch buffets came to be the norm around here, they had jumped on the bandwagon. Now they have lunch buffet 5.99 and dinner buffet 7.99 but drinks not included so don't be surprised by the price. They still make items on the their regular menu for those that don't want to eat the prepared food. Something I don't care about most of these buffet are that customers are returning to the buffet with dirty plates and the establishment isn't enforcing the clean plate policy. (Its the Law!!!, sorry mr. dishwasher)

We ordered take out and it was really good! General Tso's dinner special --- muy bien! We got it within 20 minutes and it was pretty hot. Not to mention it was packed prettily. Kudos to them for no msg. Where are you going to find a Chinese restaurant that doesnt use msg? exactly. We're a fan!

Friendly and super fast. Fried dumplings were great. Good boneless spare ribs. Teriyaki beef didn't taste like teriyaki...at all. Fried rice was a little greasy and had a weird after taste. A liiiitle pricey for your standard take out Chinese place.
