Now there are 3 Meldgie's locations in the south county area, this one is THE BEST!!! Great breakfast and lunch specials. I have had both...my friend sampled the S.O.B (something on a bagel) last week and said it was the best breakfast he ever had! Home cooked soups, BYOB, very resonably priced, huge portions, and professional service! I liked the business on Facebook and they are constantly updating and posting specials! They are open for late night, I think the hours are 11-2 or 3 am on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. I have not been for late night dining but am looking forward to leaving work one night and going to get pancakes! I go in at least once a week and will continue to support a great local establishment in Narragansett!

Not sure where all the great reviews are coming from because the food was not great at all and neither was the service...I would not return and i would recommended finding another spot...it's not very clean and who makes a Mexican omelette with peperoncino peppers?!

Very good find for breakfast. We stay in Narragansett often but this is the first time we've been here. Prices are fair and food is good. What else can you ask for??

It's difficult to kill Belgium waffles, but my order was soggy and cold. The server, however, was very nice as well as attentive. I won't be back at this place. If I want a good breakfast, I'll go to Phil's or T's.

Love this place! The food is fresh from the farmers market, and they always have the best specials. They have an incredible cranberry nut bread as a toast option for omelettes and such. The staff is super friendly and professional. Check out this new spot if you want to switch it up!

This is the place for breakfast! My girlfriend and I were on our way to the Block Island ferry and we were looking for a nice diner-type place to grab breakfast. The waitstaff was genuinely welcoming and friendly, coffee was delivered FAST (that's important) and even though it took a little while for the food to come out (it was Sunday morning and it was BUSY), the servers came around with coffee refills topping us off without us needing to ask. The food was fantastic! I had a bacon, egg, and cheese on a hard roll and the bacon was perfectly crispy and delicious. My girlfriend had 2 eggs with home fries and toast. The home fries were some of the best I've ever had, the toast was perfect, the eggs were delicious (we shared). The best part? The whole meal for 2 with coffees came to $13.81! Yes, $13.81!!!! I'd be happy paying twice that much for the level of service and quality of food we received. Next time we return to the area, we will be sure to return!
