Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. We ordered pick-up. Kevin wanted to try the pizza because we've all said "Maybe we should try Fat Jack's this time." We ordered a small eggplant. It was okay, mild about medium thickness crust. I enjoyed it. The eggplant was cut up into about dime sized pieces. When I called the guy took the order, told me he didn't need my phone number. He was pleasant when we went to pick up the pizza. This must be an after hours Charlie O's place because there was NO ONE in there. I told Kevin that this used to be Varnum's store back in the 70s. They sold penny candy and convenience items before convenience stores. There are some booths but the eating area is pretty much bare. The online menu was bare too. They advertise Large cheese pizzas for $6.99, Any Calzone for $6.99, 3 Chicken Fingers & Fries for 6.99 and 10 Wings for $6.99 on an online ordering site. Only eat here if you are in need of a meal at 1AM after a night of bar hopping/ URI student. If you are as sober as a judge, you will find the food disgusting. I used to frequent here in my URI days, and nothing seemed better than splitting a pizza or fries with friends. Now I don't think I would set foot in there. Gross! It definitely lives up to it's name-- a shack!

Tried the large pizza for take - out. Figured with pizza in the name of this joint it had a chance of being somewhat decent. Inside is lacking in any sort of atmosphere. It definitely lives up to the "shack" it promises in their name. The pizza. It was fair. Heavily seasoned with oregano and the crust was a little too much like Mama Celeste pizza for one. For a dollar I can deal with cardboard crust, but I expected a little more from a pizza establishment. I am sure the food here tastes a lot better late-night after a few pops. Maybe fries and mozzarella sticks would be a solid option. I just would not make this a pizza dinner destination for the fam or take-out.

Best Late-Night Food in Narragansett...Period I don't even know where to begin. I really don't. Do I start off with how Fat Jack's food hits the spot perfectly after a night out? What about how chill the staff is knowing fully well what type of customers they expect to get after 1 A.M.? This place is just awesome. You can get calzones, pizza, wings, mozz sticks and I'm almost sure complete happiness (not on the menu but pretty much implied). Most of their business falls after either Charlie O's/Bonvue's last call but you rarely find yourself waiting around for your food. The staff knows you're hungry...and they want your money...so it's a match made in heaven. I've had their breakfast a few times too and it's also very good. If you've gone out at night around Point Judith and have never been to Fat Jack's...I don't believe you went out in the first place. Fat Jack's completes the night.
