Please be aware....the dining area is extremely warm in the summer no A/C.....the "New Owners" apparently are not familiar with RI Health Laws, beside the fact the place is filthy, their young son has his barefoot on the table......not to appetizing.....at this point we should have left........On to the food....we ordered egg drop soup which was a bowl of grease with an egg dropped in it.....we then ordered a pu pu platter as an appetizer.....which was grease city......the flaming bowl did not flame.....Thank God we cut our losses and didn't order dinner......we will never go back again....two days later and I can still taste the grease......

We always have to go the take out route when ordering from Noble House. It is so hot in the restaurant in the summer, it's unbearable. Aside from that, the food is decent if you order the right thing. I ordered cashew chicken that was more like chicken soup with some nuts tossed in as the sauce was über thin. Husband ordered General Tso's and it was pretty good. We've ordered a couple of times because nothing else in Johnston appeals to our taste buds.

We have been going for take-out here for the past 19 yrs but something has change. The hot and sour soup had nothing but broth the last two times I ordered it, no mushrooms, or tofu,or pork. The General Tau's chicken had very little chicken the last two times we ordered it. It was more like large pieces of fried batter with little chicken. Too bad now we must look for another place. Maybe Jackies Galaxy

Not bad Chinese food kind of average.i do love there general tsao sauce.its very thick and very dark almost black.very tasty! I would still be going there but the place is filthy.tables and floor are clean but everything else is layered in dirt.not dusty but dirty.looks like they have not cleaned in years.i caught a glimpse of the kitchen and it's not pretty! They can hang 10 yr old health certificates on the wall all they want but if the board of health goes in there they would probably shut them down. It's a shame cause I want go go back there just for that yummy generals sauce. There does not seem like there are many Chinese places around Johnston if anybody knows of a great one shoot me a message!

I feel like the food has gone down hill over the last several years. Every so often I'm inclined to give them another chance so I went there the other day. I was disappointed once again. From the terrible, miserable, and unprofessional woman answering phones and running the counter to the absolutely disgusting kitchen (trust me you'll wish you never saw it) I will not be going back.

They just stole from us!!! Didn't bring items that we ordered for delivery and now refusing to send to order. They are awful people and we miss the old owners. I hope the place goes under

We recently moved to Johnston, so we have been trying out new places to eat. One day I was dying for Chinese and decided to try Noble House. I was disappointed, to say the least. The staff was rude, prices were high and it took almost 25 minutes for them to complete a take out order. When I got home to try the food, the chicken was dry and the egg roll was very oily. I ordered chicken and broccoli, egg roll and veggie rice. I'll give them another try at some point, if I'm feeling adventurous but for now I'm going to keep searching the area for better options.

As a lover of Chinese food, I have to say that this noble house may seem noble, but unfortunately the food isn't quite so. My folks received a gift certificate for this place as a gift from Christmas and they figured it would be nice to try it out. The end result was not what they were expecting. We know a few people that rave about this place saying how good the food is and whatnot, but we beg to differ. I don't know what it is but their food is just very...bland. Bland, dull, not much flavor to it at all. I tried their broccoli and chicken and I hate to say this but I've had WAY better. The chicken had absolutely no flavor to it, it was like eating a piece of cardboard. Also don't eat this as a next day lunch leftover. It leaves a very nasty aftertaste and a nasty taste in general for some reason and the food gets soggy fast unlike other places where the foot atleast stays fresh. I didn't care for this place and most likely won't eat here again. If you like bland, unflavorfull food, then Noble House is your top spot. Otherwise go somewhere else.

The 2 stars are for the service the woman was a miserable human being. No personality and even rude. She rushed us out of there and stood by me while I signed the receipt after paying. We were the only people in there so she watched us like a hawk like we were thieves. The food was just okay nothing spectacular. Next time china dynasty.

My favorite Chinese restaurant! I've been coming here for 6 years, after moving to the area & trying all of the local Chinese restaurants. Nobile House is the only one for me. I love the sweet & sour chicken, General Tso's chicken, veggie lo mein. I always get combination plates & LOVE their egg rolls. Mostly take out for me, but have sag down for lunch a few times. No credit cards for less than $15, and they're pretty serious about it. The service is excellent!

We stopped by Nobel House the other day for a late lunch and were pleasantly surprised! It's tucked away in an older strip mall in Johnston so it was a lucky find. The owner and staff were very friendly and accommodating through our entire meal, drinks were refilled without asking and food was served piping hot. We tried the Chef's Special Lo Mein, it was quite tasty, it included beef, shrimp, and scallops. We also tried the Chicken with pea pods, wasn't as good as the Lo Mein but it was still delicious. Our favorite was the Scallion Pancake, it was cooked perfectly and was awesome! We will be back.

The best Chinese in downtown Johnston, but that doesn't say much. We get take out a lot from them and the food is always consistent.

While living in Johnston this was the family's go to restaurant. Whenever I would ask the family where they wanted to eat, Noble House always came up. I have taken many friends and family members from out of state here to eat. No one has ever said they were dissatisfied. The staff was always willing to adjust the dishes to suit the diets and tastes of the dinner.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
