About Taco Bell
Taco Bell is a haven for Mexican delicacies such as tacos, quesadillas, burritos, nachos, and other specialty items. Owned by Yum! Brands, Inc. Taco Bell is one of the fastest growing American chains of fast food restaurants. The restaurant operates from 7,072 different locations which are mostly run by independent franchisees and licensees.
The background story of Taco Bell is interesting and inspiring for budding entrepreneurs. The fast-food brand is the brainchild of Glen Bell, who started his first food venture as a hot dog seller in San Bernardino, California. The year was 1948. After witnessing long queues outside a Mexican restaurant called Mitla Café across the street, Bell saw the opportunity and demand for hard-shelled Tacos. He reverse-engineered the recipe and later started selling Tacos and called the venture Taco-Tia.
Later, the name changed from Taco-Tia to El Taco. Eventually, Glen Bell sold the company to his partner and opened the first Taco Bell in Downey in 1962. By 1964, the restaurant also got its first franchise in Torrance. The 100th Taco Bell restaurant was opened by 1965. PepsiCo acquired Taco Bell from Glen Bell in 1978 and the restaurant brand is currently a subsidiary of Yum! Brands which looks after the restaurant business of PepsiCo.

Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

I love Bella's!! Every time we have gone we have very tasty meals! I just recently had my bridal shower here and service was great!!! And the food was great!!!

I can't believe that it's taken my wife and I to finally try this place but we finally made it! We came with another couple late last evening and were pleasantly surprised that we were immediately offered seating outside in the courtyard, it was such a perfect night for it. Our waiter quickly helped with making some drink recommendations and offered to substitute a round of drinks instead of the wine included with the dinner special. Of course being the first time my wife and I had to get the chicken parm so that we could compare it to all our favorites, haha! But in all seriousness the food was fantastic and we are anxious to plan a trip back here sometime soon. Enjoy!

My family just had the best time over the weekend celebrating my parents 40th weeding anniversary great food excellent service a big thanks to the Calapai family for making my parents surprise party a lifetime full of memories, Best Italian restaurant period!!!!!
(5)Kathleen L.
Our favorite special occasion restaurant. I recently had Citrus Salmon- a special that evening. Salmon perfectly cooked and covered in a glaze of strawberries, raspberries and blueberries. Didn't need dessert at all.

Bella's is a place that is near and dear to my heart. I have had numerous family gatherings in their banquet hall. There have been wedding receptions, my grandparents' 50th wedding anniversary party, and unfortunately even wakes. I even had a cousin who worked there for awhile and raved about how wonderful executive chef/owner Gio Calapai and his family are. Since I've only been to Bella's for large events, this review is based solely on their banquet menu. I've tried a few of the appetizers, including the meatballs and bruschetta. They were all standard event-type foods and weren't overly remarkable. Family-style dinners are very prevalent in the north, so we have had more than our fair share of roasted chicken, salad, pasta, and potatoes! The banquet menu offers a couple other options as far as family-style meals, but we've always stuck with ol' faithful. There is also a full liquor bar and the prices are quite reasonable. Every bartender that we've ever had there has been extremely personable. All of the servers have consistently been friendly and formal as well. I would recommend Bella's for any sort of event or family gathering because of the great service and good food.

Went here for a wedding banquet maybe 10 years ago. Decided to look up the place again and check it out for dinner, remembering it being delicious. Certainly glad I did, because this is my new favorite Italian place. At first glance, thought to be on the pricy side, but I had nothing to complain about after such a great dinner. My favorite dish is the Pollo Filippo. Please note: they have a wine-n-dine-for-$39 special, currently offered on Thursday nights. This gives two people a bottle of wine, app, 2 salads, 2 entrees, 2 desserts, 2 coffee or tea all for $39. This also comes with their famous bread & oil / butter. I try not to eat out "too much" but find myself here at least once or twice a month. Lastly, the wait staff is fantastic. I really love this place. My Italian grandmother would have approved!
(5)Marilyn B.
Our favorite place! We are going tonight for our 21st wedding anniversary. We have never had a bad meal here and the service is excellent. We always ask for Joe who is knowledgable, friendly, and just plan awesome. We have sent many people here, and they love it as much as we do!
(5)Kim B.
My husband and I have been here plenty of times before tonight, but this will be our last time sadly. The food was just ok. We asked if we could have meat sauce on our pasta and were told there would be an up-charge but "nothing outrageous" so we were fine with that, it was $6 each for the bolognese sauce that wasn't even good! I do find that outrageous! Prices have gone way up and food quality has gone down. Comparing to other restaurants their prices are ridiculous.
(2)Shayna G.
We were here for a Bridal Shower. Most of her staff was very accommodating and the food was very tasty.
(4)Elizabeth M.
Well it's a Saturday night and my husband has been traveling for 4 days, my kids are sick, I'm 12 weeks pregnant and am hungry... I had planned on getting delivery but I didn't want junky food I wanted a meal. Then suddenly I had an epiphany... Take out from Bella's and maybe just maybe they will walk it out to my car... I could manage getting the kids there (it's 2.5 miles from my house) but bringing 2 sick kids under 3 into a restaurant just wouldn't do. So I called and to my delight they said "no problem"!! I've never ordered out from here and I've only eaten here twice but my food has always been pretty good and my mom raves about one dish in particular so I ordered myself a chicken Valdostano with the potato and veggies... Delish! Thanks Bella so much for being so accommodating and for making this hungry momma happy!
(4)Deanna D.
I'm sorry to say the food was horrible. We attended a communion party over the weekend here and the food was terrible. Everything was drenched in butter. Due to dietary restrictions and allergies, we asked for plain grilled chicken. Well when we got it, there was so much salt on it we couldn't even eat it. It was terrible. They ruined a perfect piece of chicken. The salad was drenched in salad dressing so we asked for a plain salad with oil and vinegar on the side. The plain salad size that they gave us was a complete joke. It was so so small. They should be ashamed of themselves.
(1)S P.
We went there a few nights ago. Friendly staff. Food and drinks were great. Love this place
(3)Darlene M.
Seated in an appropriate amount of time. Waited forever for waiter to ask us if we wanted a drink, then when they came they were horrible. He didn't even know whose drink belonged at who's table. Very poor service. Food extremely inferior, my chicken tasted sour. $45.00 for a baked stuffed 1/4 lb lobster, what a rip off. When we complained the owner came over to us with some BS story about how hard help was to get. Really! Ton of people on there looking for jobs. We have gone here a ton of times over the past 8-10 years will never, never return. Very disappointed. No wonder the Blue Grotto closed. (same owner).
(1)R. F. B.
My wife and I have been coming Here for years and the food is delicious and the staff is wonderful. We have had salads and pizzas to salmon and calamari to pasta and steak Diane and we are never disappointed. Bella's fairly new Dinner for two on thurs and Fridays allows us to come more frequently. It is a limited menu with chef's appetizer bottle of red or white wine and ice cream for dessert for the awesome price of $39.99. I make sure to leave a double tip because the wait staff isn't doing any less for my budget friendly total. Even with the larger tip it is still quite the deal for the quality of food and the great wait staff!
(4)Jay S.
Excellent service. Delicious food. A bit pricey and recent price increases will probably reduce the number of visits in the future
(4)Ryan P.
Excellent. Went for a small graduation party, 10-12ppl. We were only served by one person so drink refills and everyone getting food at the same time was difficult. Food was perfect, homemade salad dressings were really really good. Will be back for a regular dinner out.
(4)Dick V.
We've been going to Bella for years and have always appreciated the the food and the overall atmosphere. Ate on the patio the other night: the service was slow and our wait staff didn't know much about the wine, but we enjoyed the experience nonetheless.
(3)Kimberly S.
Bella is hands down our favorite restaurant. Neither my husband nor I have ever been disappointed with an appetizer, entree or dessert that we have ordered. They are also very accommodating, should you want to make alterations to the preparation of your meal. In fact we love Bella so much, that when my son and now daughter-in-law were looking for a venue for their wedding reception (he is in the military and his wife is from out of state) we suggested Bella... shockingly they chose to have the wedding in RI and after talking over budget and food selection they went with them... it was perfect! The food was delicious and everyone had a great time! Needless to say we are huge fans and will continue to visit often!
(5)Darcie C.
So delicious, like another reviewer said, a hidden gem. We just moved here and we are glad it is so close by. The food is amazing and the service terrific.
(5)Lynne Z.
Dinner at Bellas last night was a pleasure. The attention to detail was refreshing. White table cloths, incredible service , even crumbed the table in between courses before bringing fresh silverware between every course. The food was very very good, menu varied. Our party ranged in age from 80 to 12 and there was many choices. We had lobster ravioli, grilled haddock, and chicken parmesan. Everyone was very pleased. Salads and breads were fresh and the house made dipping oil and seasoned butter were great. Elegant atmosphere but all felt welcome. Dress varied from jeans and tshirts to dress up. Wouldnt hesitate to return, really a gem. Again need to mention how good our service was. The to go boxes were wrapped in saran and hand labeled for contents. Really nice touches and the food was great too.
(4)Carissa H.
The food is reliably delicious, and we always get great service. I wish it wasn't so far off the beaten path- we'd probably frequent Bella more! It's pricey, but hey, quality is there. One time I got lobster fra diovolo special, and it was more than a whole lobster in it.
(5)Walter W.
Clearly capitalizing on the northern RI customers who don't want to drive to Providence. Overpriced and two steps above an Olive Garden. Don't waste your time with this place... Make the drive to Fed Hill!
(1)Kaitlin B.
Been going here with family forever. Love it!
(4)Amy P.
Great food and great service, however, they should do some upgrade to the carpets, seats and tables. But other then that, I'll return again! :-)
(4)R F.
Food was perfect, service was great, Baked Stuffed Lobster for 21.99 with two sides, amazing! Everything came with salads and portions were big. A hidden Gem in Northern Rhode Island
(5)Harry T.
The food was great, the decor was appropriate, but the strolling musician added nothing to my enjoyment. My wife and I decided to go to Bella's to celebrate our anniversary; we'd been several times in the past, and were never disappointed. This time around, the food and service were superb, however I docked a star for the strolling musician. He was loud in an already loud room - my wife and I wanted nothing to do with his singing and guitar playing. When he came over, we tried to ignore him in the hope he would go away. He didn't. He was playing loudly, not far from my head. My wide was very uncomfortable and so was I. I asked him to move along in what I thought was a nice tone, and recieved what I considered a bit of attitude. I know the guy has a job to do, but pestering people in the middle of a romantic dinner is not really gonna win him any tips. That said, the food was fabulous. My prime rib was done perfectly, the sides were appropriate (though could have been slightly better presented overall), and the service was stellar. I really felt welcome, and our server did a splendid job of making sure we had what we needed and were content with our meal. I will certainly return to Bella's, but when I make a reservation, I'll make sure to ask if the musician will be there. While other patrons loved it, I just couldn't get into it.
(4)Jack P.
Very pleased with this place. The atmosphere is classy, food is upscale Italian, a little pricey, but worth the money. Wish we lived a little closer, this would be "our" place...
(4)Stephanie G.
BEST. ITALIAN. RESTAURANT. EVER. PERIOD!!!! Food and service is exquisite. Never to have wait for a table. Floor manager is so friendly and inviting.
(5)TJ M.
This is a really great dining experience. On our last visit I had the eggplant rollatini it was super . My wife had the linguini bolognese. She said it was excellent and very flavor full. Our waiters name was Bruce and he could not have been more attentive and pleasant. I highly recommend Bella anytime. Oh and leave room for desert. I recommend the tiramisu.
(5)Peter G.
Went here one Thursday after work with my wife. Everything was top notch, service and food. My wife had the lobster and oysters - both were the biggest and best she's ever had. I had the steak, which was just enough size wise. It was nice and tender and didnt have any fat on it. A tad expensive but WELL worth it. Will be going back and as Yelp says AS GOOD AS IT GETS!!!
(5)Melanie B.
Went here once for a bridal shower. Got sick within 15 minutes of eating the pasta that they served. Definitely was not impressed. Will not go back.
(2)Christine P.
Honestly, this is my favorite italian restaurant by FAR. Their food is flavorful, delicious, hearty, and really, really, really good! Their caesar salad is one of the best I've had and their vodka sauce is supreme. We have eaten here at least a half dozen times and never had a bad meal. It's a bit far away for us, but we make the effort because honestly I think the food here beats anything down on the Hill.
(5)Bill J.
Great food no matter what you order. Friendly experienced staff. Just love this place.
(5)Craig R.
Food was very good! Waitress was trying so hard to be friendly and energetic that she overlooked what her function should have been, providing good service. She seemed to have trouble waiting on two tables while other servers were multitasking on many! Appetizers were late as was the salads due to interacting with the only other table she was serving! Drinks are over-priced for what you get! Didn't have white creame de minthe for stInger, and wanted to substitute for green! Ordered a Shirley Temple for my daughter and it was served in a cocktail glass at full alcohol price!!! Would give it less stars but the food was really good!
(4)Dani G.
I have never had a bad dish and we have never had to wait more than 5 minutes. I am not sure whether or not it is the chef or the owner but they are somehow affiliated with a restauant on Federal Hill. We always have an amazing dining experience here. On weekend nights, it does get sort of loud because you are all seated pretty close. However the service and the food have always been unforgettable!
(4)Jack W.
Love this place! Italian atmosphere. The owner's family are waiters and waitresses
(5)Kate L.
My husband and I have been going to Bella for years and it is our favorite restaurant. We have always had excellent meals and the service is outstanding! I'm also a big fan of their banquet facility. I've hosted several events there, including our wedding, and cannot say enough positive things about Sarah, the event planner, and the staff as a whole. If you find yourself in North Western RI, this is the place to go for a great all around dining experience.
(5)Andrew B.
Went here on Mother's Day after finding out you needed reservations at Wright's Chicken Farm. Fairly fancy restaurant as far as this area goes. Dress up a little bit if you go. Prices are pretty good (about $15-$20 per plate). The menu for Mother's Day was limited, I ended up getting Penae Alla Roma, penae pasta with a gorgonzola cream sauce and zucchini. First bites were good but the flavor of the cheese got to be a little much. I got kinda sick of it and had a bit left over. (Not a reflection of the quality, just my taste) If it were closer I would consider going back with my girlfriend some time. One of the better Italian places in the area but I've had better in NY and western MA so I'll give it 3.5 / 5
(3)Josh T.
The chef is wise beyond his years
