Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Little taken back at first, because it looked like a club/karaoke bar, more than anything. But the pizza was very good, bartender/server was awesome and for a dude, very friendly with our 3 little kids. Good music playing, clean and plenty of room in the dining area. Great spot for pizza and beer, even with the little rodents tagging along.

Here's an update, I ordered a Peperoni and Cheese pizza last Friday and it was yummy, my boyfriend and his kids loved it and it didn't take long to eat it and within a few hours the box was empty, this has been my second time ordering from them and I will be ordering again from them soon, I remember ordering the apple dessert pizza once and that was yummy as well. They are the only pizza restaurant that makes dessert pizzas, I want to say Thank you to the lady that end up taking my order over the phone I don't know what her name is, she was very polite and I want to thank the young man that delivered my pizza he was very polite as well and the delivery was very fast, I recommend them they are awesome :)

Great Pizza! Must try the hot weiner pizza and any of the wide variety of dessert pizzas. They are definitely unique and unlike many other places.

I'm a bit disappointed since a friend of mine had told me that I should take the trip out to Indigo for pizza. I visited on a Wednesday night for their all you can eat pizza. There was live music, so this place could definitely be more accurately labeled as a bar or lounge. However, I had visited solely for the pizza. A variety of small slices under a heat lamp behind the bar is what I encountered. The crust seemed to have been frozen at one point and reached a stale and flavorless state by the time of consumption. The only slice that came even close to edible was the bacon mac and cheese slice, but then I bit down on a rock hard piece of bacon and gave up. Perhaps other items on the menu are tasty. Perhaps the pizza you order to be made fresh is tasty. All I can say is... I would fight the temptation for cheap, all you can eat pizza.

For those that look at a quick glance, Pizza is a 4 Star. Get it as pick up or delivery unless you want to sit at a bar. If you want to sit in, bring a lantern. For those that are willing to read, here is the 411. This is first and foremost a lounge / night club. So this impacts what you see when you get inside. I am sure if I were rating a lounge / night club it would also be 4 stars, but I am rating a pizza place. So there are some issues that could be corrected quickly. Let me start by saying the lady that was working there, and I will assume she is the owner, was really nice. She was helpful and had some brief conversations with us. The best part, the pizza. This is pretty good pizza. It is served cookie sheet stile. The crust is hand made and is a bit lighter than normal pizzas. So what to I mean by lighter? It is not as dense. I think it is like an Italian bread dough that is used for pizza. It is really good. You can either create your own, or get stuff off of their 'specialty' list. Mac and Cheese, BBQ Chicken, Shepard's Pie... and the list goes on. They also have a Dessert Pizza list that goes from Apple Cinnamon to Smores to PP&J, so on and so forth. Very creative. We did not get the dessert pizza. For the meal we created one of our own. The sauce was light and an accent or support to all of the other toppings. It did not drown out the main players. All of the toppings were fresh and the onions were hand cut and not used sparingly. So she is my pizza hero. Come strong or don't come at all. So the pizza itself, I do recommend. The bad news: It was just the place in general that is stopping this place from becoming a bit more. Pizza Joint by day and Club by night. The place is dark unless you are sitting at the bar. With a three year old, you can not sit at the bar, so you get to sit in the lounge that is only lit by what comes through the shaded windows. There is a ceiling with recessed lighting, but all of the light bulbs are black lights. So, I think if they opened up a place that allowed for people that were looking for a place to sit down and hang out, eat a great pizza (which they have) and drink a pint, it would be great for them and the community. But as it is, pizza will have to be for pick up and or delivery, which is sad. I do miss having a good comfortable, warm and welcoming pizza place.

Coldest beers and best pizza around! I basically live at this place and have NEVER had a bad item or a lukewarm brew. Creativity at its best with all the wacky pizza selections (hot wiener pizza is one of my favs)...among many others! Don't fret...there are traditional toppings as well that include handmade meatballs and fresh eggplant. If you haven't been here, you're missing out ;)

Delicious! Interesting pizzas - try hot wiener pizza, chicken pot pie pizza or the smores pizza! You'll be amazed at how good they taste!

I've ordered here twice, one time we ate at the bar and the other we had takeout. They had an open mic night or karaoke when we were there. It wasn't empty, but it wasn't too busy either. The bartender/owner is a nice lady, a little laid back so you may not get fast service, but she is friendly and it's a nice place to sit and relax. Not the type of place to be if you're in a rush. The food was pretty good. Their appetizers are reasonably priced and they have a good selection. (Buffalo chicken fingers were awesome). Most people are going to be drawn to their specialty pizza list, which has items like sloppy Joe pizza, or Teriyaki chicken to name a couple. Some are pretty good. They also have a nice dessert pizza menu. I have tried 2 of these and they are OK. I would like to try others though.

Ordered a gluten free pizza from Indigo, it was delicious!! We are always hesitant to get food from restaurants, having celiac and not knowing what to expect with quality and value, Indigo shined! Their GF small is more like a medium size, and loaded with toppings. Gluten free people in Coventry, don't hesitate with this place, delicious!!!! We have a new local favorite, thanks!!

The crust was doughy and good and there was a ton of cheese on it. Im a big fan of sauce and this one didnt have much on it, but maybe thats more of a new england thing. at least thats what my native wife informs me is fact. could have put a few more pepperonies on the half n half.

My RI friends suggested this place! Great atmosphere, great food, great band and fun times! I was craving weiners and ordered the weiner pizza! OMG, my craving was definitely satisfied! YUMMY! We had a large group and had excellent service!

Last night a few friends and I decided to check out the new place in town. We heard they had live music, which was a big motivator. The bartender was very friendly and accomodating, considering the large crowd. We thought $10 for 4 12 oz brews was reasonable and it was served in a bucket of ice so they stayed nice and cold. A few people ordered pizza which looked really yummy. They had a few unusual pizzas such as sheppards pie and macaroni and cheese as well as dessert pizzas such as smores. We hope to try their pizza soon, because we loved the relaxed atmosphere and service with a smile!

A cool little bar that specializes in novelty pizzas. I would recommend takeout because service in the bar is a bit slow. The pizza is hit or miss but the slices that are good, are really f'ing good. My favorite was the chicken teriyaki.

A hidden gem. Driving by, it doesn't look like much, but is really a great little place, and wish I had started going here sooner. Everything on the menu has been great, and the food is always ready before the quoted time. The staff is friendly and personable as well. They also have a karaoke night for the adventurous. For pizza and the like in Coventry, you'd be hard pressed to do better.

A unique restaurant that is buried away in Coventry, Indigo offers up some gourmet treats. S'mores pizza? Hot wiener pizza? Shepherds pie pizza? So many unique creations and so many full tummies. The service is fast and friendly and the decor is tasteful and plain. I hope the owners expand as they have a winning idea here.

My band played there Wed "all you can eat pizza" from 6-9. Pizza was awesome and the food was delicious. Only reason It didn't get 5 stars is they stopped bringing pizza out before I could even eat close to All I could eat

Indigo pizza has many things going for it, not the least of which is the amazing pizza. A cozy, relaxed atmosphere, kind people, and great music always make for a fantastic night. Mary, the owner, not only makes a mean dessert pizza (I defy you to dislike the S'Mores or the Cornbread!) but she'll bring you to tears (in an "oh my God my life now has meaning!" way) with her amazing singing and guitar playing. I highly recommend this place- make it a priority.

Called in for delivery, lady was very unprofessional and sucked at customer service. I received my food in a timely manner, however my "calzone" was the size of two pieces of pizza and was burnt ! You do not get what you pay for that's for sure definitly didn't take the time in making it.

Great pizza and salad. Cheap drinks. Amazing atmosphere. What more could you ask for? Save room for the dessert pizza!!

Ok so we came here with our RI Food Fights pizza passports. The stipulation was that we come only on Wednesday, which was a little difficult but we managed. When we got there we realized that the reason they stipulation was only on Wednesday is because they have all you can eat pizza for $5 on Wednesday. The pizza is terrible! When we arrived we were shown where the pizza was. There were a few options to choose from but they were sitting under a heat lamp and looked as if they had been there for a few hours. I honestly didn't even want to try it because it looked so terrible. I guess I've been spoiled by other pizzerias and expected my pizza to be cooked the way I wanted it with the toppings I wanted. I also would have expected a crust they didn't come frozen and then topped with sauce and other things. Yes, the crust is frozen and thawed and heated. The pizza was the worst I've ever had, to say the least. I probably won't be back here.

For great pizza and really well priced drinks it's a lesser known spot in Coventry worth checking out. The creative pizzas are the stars here. Try the sloppy Joe pizza
