This is a great alternative to Subway. Their large grinders are HUGE. I love stopping here when on a long hike on the Coventry bike path. They are right off the path on Whitford Street. The bread is very fresh. I'm determined to try everything on the menu.

Went there 2 times and even though the food is good their customer service is by far the worst I've ever seen! I thought the first time maybe they were having an off day so I decided to give them a second chance but nope I received worse service than the first time. It doesn't matter how good your food is if the service is bad I won't be returning. I actually saw a Facebook post on someone else's page talking about how bad the service is there. It's to bad because the location and food are good!

So happy Britay's is back in town!!! My family and I enjoyed the giant Britay's special tonight for dinner and are thrilled to say it was even better than we remembered!!! So happy!! Did I mention how happy I am!! Welcome back!!

This place really went down hill. Got a sandwich half of it was cheese the other avocado. They originally messed up my order and had the nerve to complain about it in front of my face to each other, older women very rude. Will not eat here ever again.

Yum! I had the grilled chicken avocado large sandwich. The portion was huge and it was So good! I ordered the sandwich ahead of time and picked it up 10 minutes later no problems. Delicious!!

Currently closed: I'm looking forward to them opening in a new location. I always order the Britay special with Swiss cheese. One of the best sandwiches I've ever had!! Now it's just a waiting game. When and where will they open? Keep us informed Britay!

Britay's is the first place I had a real Italian style hoagie and is definitely the gold standard for me. The whole loaf Britay Special is 2 feet long and great to bring to parties and is just awesome! I agree with some of the other comments about the issues with inconsistent hours and drive through but my experience at the new location has been better. Call ahead to be sure. However I am willing to overlook that for a great local restaurant with fantastic food. Check it out.

I have to admit, I was a little hesitant to try this place because there was not a single customer there. We even wondered if it was open! I'm so glad we did! We got a turkey bacon wrap (to share) and it was delicious! Fresh ingredients with a "secret sauce" that was tangy and sweet.

This place is great! I would have given it 5 stars if the front door was fixed and bathroom had a little less storage stuff inside it. This was recommended to me by the person that cut my hair that day and I checked it out and I was pleasantly surprised! Good food, good prices , good service and clean. They just need to fix that front door and fix the 2nd bathroom so the have a women and men bathroom. Enjoy!

I have been to the new location twice. It opened, closed for a few weeks and is now back open. This is not a Deli in the sense that you can purchase sliced meats and cheeses....but in more of a true meaning of the word "delicious things (to eat)" it fits the bill. ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/De… ). They have various sandwiches and wraps. The largest is a 2 foot with 8inch being the small. In many cases, it is the bread that can make/break the sandwich. Britays has GREAT bread. They carry the range of standard new england varieties plus a few more. On Fridays they have fish & chips, fish sammich, & 8oz chowder for $1! They have a drivethru that can be used for phone-order pickups. No drivethru ordering though. I hope to eat there again soon to get a better feel for the range of items they sell.

Probably the most clueless, incompetent staff of all time. But holy crap can these people make a sandwich. I refuse to go here without calling my order in ahead of time, they often run out of bread. However, if you do that it eliminates any chance for incompetence, because god it's there. Their Britays sauce is crazy good and their pizza strips may be the greatest of all time. All in all, I come here whenever I'm in the area, but never do I pop-in and place an order.

umm where do i start. First of all the advertised drive up window and one of their front doors doesn't work. The prices advertised on their online menu do not coincide with what they charge you, nor is the food of any real quality. We ordered two salads one with a scoop of chicken salad. the salads were $1.50 more than advertised, and the tiny scoop of chicken salad which is advertised as giant was $1.00 more than advertised making our meal $6.00 more than expected. In addition to the poor service and the, "thats the way it is" attitude about the price discretion at the conclusion of our lunch we each had enough lettuce left over to feed a small starving family. Hey britays keep the lettuce, charge an appropriate amount, and re-hire the cute blonde.

This place is not a deli first off. A sandwich shop yea maybe, I was able to get one, but a true delicatessen I think not... I walked in and spoke these english words exactly. "Can I get a chicken cutlet on a roll with bacon mayo and lettuce" Although the answer was yes, they do not have rolls. They have long loafs of bread that they cut for sandwiches... interesting, ok. I found this out when I asked to buy some rolls to bring home and they looked at me like I had two heads. I could not get any other items to go with the sandwich besides about three different flavor variety of chips. Cookies; no. Candies; no. It was pretty empty inside and had a werid menu. Another fine example of RI variety... none. I give this two stars because the sandwich was OK. Not exactly worth another visit, but I will give them a try again since this town has no other options.
