We went for breakfast after jumping off the ferry. The eggs were done well (not runny) and the food was pretty run of the mill. We were going to eat outside but then decided to eat in instead. It is hot hot hot in there so, i wouldn't reccomend this to anyone else... Would definitely order from there again except next time i will order from the window and eat outside.

Excellent lunch spot. Normally seafood take out is all fried, but this place was probably the freshest food we had in the island! Everything was made to order and delicious. The Santa Fe chicken wrap was loaded with fresh tomatoes, lettuce and shredded cheddar. Huge and yummy. The chicken salad sandwich was solid chunks of chicken with spicy mayo (not too much!) and tomatoes on fresh rye...really nice surprise. The grilled tuna salad was also super fresh, though on iceberg lettuce. Great outdoor seating- picnic tables with umbrellas. Best lunch in town.

Somehow you expect more from the small takeout places in New England. This place was simply mediocre. Lobster roll was disappointing, you could taste only pepper and celery - it felt like lobster was previously frozen and not fresh at all. Few different wraps and onion rings were okay. Not recommended.

I wonder if Rebecca eats here Rebecca's is a little take out restaurant located almost across the street from the ferry terminal on Block Island. It was named of course for the famous statue, Rebecca at the Well, just down the street. There is also another Rebecca's restaurant over on Corn Neck Road at the town beach. This Rebecca's has a few tables and chairs inside and about a dozen or so picnic tables outside. Sitting outside you get great views of the water and the activity on Water Street. A great place to sit back and relax after killing yourself biking the island. The food is good for a take out place but certainly can't be compared to the more elegant restaurants on the island. You can get the usual fish and chips, clam cakes, clam chowder, fried calamari and other baked and fried seafood items. They also have some veggies sandwiches, the cool Rebecca wraps and the mundane burgers, dogs and fries for the knuckleheads that don't like seafood. Rebecca's is not the place for a gourmet meal but it is a very convenient spot that does have decent seafood and a very cool view. When you are done eating here make sure you walk south down Water Street a few minutes to visit with Rebeca at the Well.

This is one of the only places opened late night on Block Island. Expect to find a huge raucous crowd of drunkies around 12-2 attempting to order food. I think I had a hotdog here one night and chicken tenders another night. I don't remember the hotdog but the chicken tenders were amazing.

Ate delicious lobster rolls and clam strips @ Rebecca's Seafood Takeout. The lobster rolls were huge and succulent, the clam strips were done just right. Rebecca's tarter sauce is addictive. Yummy seafood, good-sized portions and prices that didn't break the bank: would definitely go back.

Save your money and taste buds, We had a veggie burger, it was gross like card board and with some greasy spice all over my roll I couldn't identify.. also we had the clam chowder, it was tan small and not flavorful, the clam cakes were the size of a quarter no taste at all. I would never eat here again, Burger King has a better tasting veggie burger and Chelos has a better clam cake and chowder meal,,,,too bad they cant have sub stations on the island because it would be better than eating here!!

At some ridiculously early hour on this island, the kitchens all close, the bars issue last call, and suddenly you remember that you didn't really eat anything since "earlier." You need a late night burger, and this is the only joint. I ate here during 4th of July / World Cup 2014 weekend and had a well done plain cheeseburger and fries and it got the job done. We ate our hockey puck sandwiches and returned to the front porch at the Surf and resumed the festivities. If I can get bacon lettuce tomato and mayo on my burger next year I'll give them the fifth star.

Delicious fried fish sandwich and side salad was all I got. Take off one star b/c they could have, but didn't, make any effort to decorate the perimeter of the outside seating area (ie: Block Island style, w/ sone fishing buoys, oars... or anything), which would have made the outside seating much more fun. But my one-time experience at Rebecca's featured a really fresh, thick fried fish sandwich which was outstanding.

Easy, simple, straightforward food. Quick, tasty, and reasonably priced for Block Island. The staff is cheerful, attentive, and efficient. You can eat outside at picnic tables, take it to go or sit inside. Indoors there are 3 tables and a few stools at the bar.

They are a cash only business. Just not impressed by the staff. Nor the NY -era who sat and complained a bout everything. The plastic picnic tables were really hot to sit on. The lobster rolls are only served cold with mayo. Maybe I was having a bad day but the staff might have been too.

I believe this is the place I ordered my lobster roll when I was on Block Island the day before July 4th. I was in desperate need of a plain lobster roll. I like the lobster salad, but nothing beats pure lobster and melted butter on a roll. Rebecca's seafood was my saving grace as I prepared to leave the Island after a long day of being on the beach. It was expensive but it was good. Looking to eat a few more items when I return next year.

Nothing not to like about Rebecca's. It is super casual, with a few tables inside and a few outside; don't come expecting anything fancy. But the food is great. The clam chowder is some of the best on Block Island and their lobster rolls are fresh and delicious, with large pieces of lobster meat. Perfect for a quick bite. Note: Lobster in the roll is mixed with pieces of red peppers just FYI so it's a cold lobster salad

Last weekend on our trip to Block Island, my boyfriend and I were looking for an inexpensive place to eat before we took the ferry home. This place seemed to be the best value and had everything from Veggie burgers to seafood, so it looked good. We took a few minutes to check out the menu and as we went to the window to order, the girl, who was extremely rude, seemed like she couldn't wait to finish taking our order. After each item, she kept saying "can I get a name?" And we're like "um, we're not finished ordering yet." Then, we were going to order half a dozen crab cakes. Before the words even left my mouth she snarled "we're all out of crab cakes for the day". Okay...so I asked if they were out of anything else. I was afraid she was going to rip my head off. As we sat at the picnic tables and waited, I realized why this was happening. They were closing in 5 minutes. I saw throngs of people try to walk up and order after us as she kept saying "actually, we're closed right now." We got the food at the window in record time. As I took it and smiled and said "thank you" to show my obvious appreciation that they accommodated us so close to close, she slammed the window in my face. You would think in a tourist community, where businesses thrive on seasonal customers, they'd be a little nicer and even stay open a bit later to make some extra sales. Isn't that what you're in business for...to make money? You should treat your first and last customers of the day exactly the same. Their money is just as good as anyone else's. The food wasn't even that great, and we won't be back on our next trip.

Monster chicken! I have lovely memories of mozzarella sticks from back in the day, but the Monster chicken is my jam, so good. It's messy, though, with the dressing and the mayo - so usually I just get one or the other. A good spot for late night munchies or something to pick up on the way to the ferry. Delish.

the 9 of us almost missed the ferry that morning. but we made it and after a nice 30 minute ride we were ready to house some lunch. after walking around for a bit we decided to try Rebecca's, a simple take-out window with outdoor seating and what looked like a few seats inside. i got a lobster roll, the GF got fish and chips and we shared some clam cakes. everything was tasty and sufficiently fried. everybody else loved what they had. and we all 9 were satiated, ready for the beach. good, quick, take out joint.

Rebecca's is a cute little takeout joint with bad food and bad service. Named after the famous Rebecca statue down the block, this takeout joint serves up the usual seaside offerings. Being a lobster roll addict, I was surprised to see a $12 lobster roll. So cheap! Well, it was easily the worst lobster roll I have had. For some reason, they pile on bell peppers, which overwhelm the flavor. The lobster was dried out, and it needed more mayo. I don't mind a lobster roll with no mayo, but it needs flavor pull that off. The service was not good. Young, bored girls work here. How dare I bother them to, um, order food? They can't be bothered. Really, what was I thinking? But, this seems to be a problem at every single joint on the Island, upscale or not...so maybe it is an Island thing..or maybe it is an offseason thing. Whatever it is, it sucks, and I don't like it. Mediocre food with mediocre service. Don't waste your time or money.

Just had 4th of July dinner at Rebecca's. As always, the food was very good. Had the tuna steak sandwich for the first time, and will definitely get that again. The steak was grilled nicely and still quite moist. We spend two weeks here every summer and do dinner at Rebecca's at least twice every time. A bowl of clam chowder and clam cakes to dip in it is the main stay for my wife, my two daughters and myself. My youngest (12) also got the chicken strip sandwich and it actually looked good. I'll cut them slack on the clientele this time, just suggest not going in the evening at the end of a holiday when all the drunk day trippers are getting something for the ferry ride back to the mainland.

Ditto to all of brian s.'s info an compliments... but I also want to add that Rebecca's is also open late at night on the weekends and busier times on the island. This makes it a great place for late night post bar-hopping snack. As much as I am a seafood fan - late night burgers and shakes always top off all the drinks nicely!

i can't give the same shout outs as the other yelpers to rebecca's. they offer up a terrible lobster roll with overcooked meat and all too much pepper, less than mediocre clam cakes, and possibly some of the worst chowder i've had in rhodie (thick, gravy-like, clam-devoid gloop). while breakfast and burgers available for the late night crowd might be ok, i was exceptionally disappointed by the food. i'd go to the place across the street, which serves a better lobster roll, and slightly better clam cakes.
