This is a nice spot to grab lunch or dinner. The food is good and appropriately priced. The atmosphere is welcoming and clean.

Had delivery pasta and sandwich. Borderline inedible. Pizza has been consistently mediocre at best, sometimes get 1/2 off but wouldnt pay full price. Really, just disappointingly poor food. Hope it improves.

My first mistake at Mangia was eating the pasta. The pasta isn't bad, but it's not great. They only offer one type of noodle and the sauce is, like I said, ok. The real gem here is their pizza! Their sandwiches are pretty good as well! I'm also a bit concerned about their pricing structure. Don't get me wrong, I love a good deal, but make sure you're charging enough to stay in business. They offer $5 sandwiches every weekday until 5pm and half priced pizza and pasta 3 days a week! Tonight I ordered the Avellino pizza. The box was huge and upon picking it up I was concerned that they must've forgotten to put half of the pizza in the box...it was so light. When I got home we all tried a slice and I can tell you it was one of the best slices of thin...and I mean paper thin pizza I've had in a long time. The sauce is good, the fresh mozz was fantastic and seasoning was on point.

Mangia is a chain that opened up a location in Barrington a few years ago. It has since become our go-to pizza delivery restaurant. In general we've been pleased with anything they make. The pizzas are good, and the crust is definitely a strong point. One of the reasons we love it is that the pizzas are not heavy and greasy, but yet are packed with plenty of taste. For example their margarita pizza features fresh basil and fresh mozzarella. They have some creative pies, along with more standard options. I have also tried their calzones and sandwiches. The calzones are more hit and miss but I have had some really good ones. The sandwiches are tasty, they specialize in a Mufelatta-type sandwich. For me one reason we keep going back is their reliable delivery and their half prices early in the week. For a family, that is a real value. The bottom line is the food is not exceptional but is consistent and good, definitely our favorite pizza option in Barrington.

I've been trying to like this place for a while. It's convenient and clean and their Pizza is OK. I too have gotten pizza with missing ingredients (though they did remake the whole pie for me). Today though, was the end of my trips here. I ordered "The Parma" grinder, (prosciutto, mozz, tomatoes basil) and it had ONE slice of prosciutto on it. ONE paper thin slice on a grinder roll for $8? Never again.

Man, oh man! This Yelp filter is totally sucking lately! If you're thinking about trying Mangia, head on down the page a bit and be sure to read the MANY filtered glowing reviews. Mangia is super close to my house and I was craving pizza and my husband had a hankering for some wings so we phoned in an order with Mangia. The girl taking our order was friendly and courteous even when I asked her a million questions about how they make the calzones and what's in it and do the wings have bones, and can I have fresh basil not the dried stuff, etc. No problem. They told us it'd be ready to pick up in 30 minutes. We showed up exactly 30 minutes later and were presented our order right away, piping hot. They even opened the calzone box and asked if it looked good to me. At first, I thought she was being curt but then I realized, no, she wanted to know if it met my standards and I appreciated being given the opportunity to say something if need be. Luckily, it looked delicious so we were on our way home. The calzone was a monster. It had a hand rolled crust that was very obviously hand made dough with a chewy, tangy sourdough flavor. My husband, the bread maker, confirmed my theory. Stuffed with lots of cheese (ricotta and mozzarella), fresh basil (as requested), and the diced tomatoes I asked for? They were actually chopped cherry tomatoes! Um, delicious!! My husband said the wings "will do". But honestly, he's a wing snob and barely ever likes wings that aren't from Trinity Brewhouse so take that with a grain of salt, for sure. So, when I was perfectly pleased with my meal and experience from Mangia, I hopped on yelp to see what others said. Much to my dismay, it wasn't good. So it's now my personal mission to bring the love around to Mangia.

Disappointing. It was a Friday night a little after 6 when I called in to order a pizza for pickup. I was a little surprised the wait was 45 minutes but I was willing to wait. It was Friday after all, and I figured they must be busy. Husband went to pick it up exactly 45 minutes later. When he brought the pizza home, it was room temperature. It looked like it had been sitting out for awhile. You know what I'm talking about, when the cheese is no longer melty but it's getting to the congealed state. Mind you, we live 5 minutes from Mangia so it's not like it was sitting in the car for a long time on his drive back. I love pizza (seriously, so much) and it is not often that we have pizza night, so I was really looking forward to this. So I was really annoyed that clearly the pizza was ready well before the 45 minutes and they didn't call to let us know. Pizza is ready 15 minutes sooner than you thought? Great! Just call me. You did take my number for a reason, right? I should also clarify that my husband said the place was practically empty when he went to pick up... Not busy at, so I don't really see a reason why they wouldn't call us when the pizza was done. Well, we decided to reheat in the toaster oven and I am sad to say that the pizza was just OK. Nothing to write home about. We ordered mushrooms and tomato and it was pretty sparse. The taste was fine. It wasn't bad. "Meh" is my overall consensus. Not ordering from here again.

This is our favorite pizza, and the Greek salad is outstanding as well. The pizza ingredients are all top-notch, and the preparation is perfect for our tastes...thin, crisp and flavorful. The only thing I can't explain is how they can offer such quality as such great prices. I agree with another poster...I hope they're charging enough to stay in business because we'd be very disappointed if we couldn't come here each week for lunch with our grand children. The service is great too. With two little impatient boys, we call to order as we're leaving the house and hot pizzas are ready for us when we arrive to eat in. Today there was a rare mixup in our order (probably more our fault than theirs) and the owner bent over backwards to make it right. Check it out...you won't be disappointed.

Very good pizza and a nice addition to Barrington. I have not had delivery yet as its usually a last minute decision to go here and we just eat in. My preference is to have Pizza hot from the oven as it can soften up the crust while traveling in the warmer bag. Anyway, I digress, fast and easy for the family. nice wings, good salads and its clean clean clean! Thanks for coming to Barrington!

I eat here practically every day for lunch! Can't beat their 50% off every full priced item deal Monday-Thursday! Super friendly staff, they go the extra mile to make sure their customers are happy and well fed! My favorites include the personal calzone, eggplant wrap, chicken tenders, salads, and their sandwiches! And it helps that it's just as cheap as making a sandwich at home (about $3 with the discount!)! Oh, did I mention: GLUTEN FREE CRUST!? Great gluten-free options! Always clean! PS - they also serve Tazo tea and Dells so you don't have to go to Starbucks! Mangia, I salute you!

My wife and I decided to try out this local pizzeria for a reasonably priced, quick dinner, and overall we were pleased with the friendliness of the staff, the quality of the food, and the clean, brightly lit restaurant. The restaurant is not large and has limited seating with only five rectangular, wooden tables, but each table can easily fit 4-5 adults. The restaurant feels very informal, more like a take out, casual establishment rather than a sit down restaurant. We ordered at the counter and then seated ourselves at one of the tables, and then someone brought us our food. We split a 14 inch, thin crust, cheese pizza and a cranberry, walnut salad with balsamic dressing. The pizza was hot out of the oven and cooked just right, and the thin crust was excellent. The sauce on the plain cheese pizza was a bit on the mild side, and perhaps could be sweeter or tastier. Next time we might try one of the speciality pizzas. The salad was ample with a variety of greens, cucumbers, onions, etc. and it was certainly enough for two people. My wife observed that the tomatoes they used were okay, but certainly not as fresh or tasty as they could have been. Given that it was early September, local tomatoes from Four Town Farms would have been a nice addition. Though I give the restaurant 4 stars, there are some minor things they could do to improve things. 1. On the counter, there was a glass encased warming rack with some slices of pizza. The pizza slices they had there were well done and looked like they had been sitting there a long time. Get rid of the old pizza slices, folks; it is not too appetizing. Either get rid of the display, or keep it stocked with newly cooked slices. 2. Consider fresher, tastier tomatoes and some crunchy croutons for the salad, and more substantial napkins. 3. If they had a trash can near the door, with a wider opening, instead of a small circular opening, patrons could bus their own plates, and cleaning the tables for the staff would be quick and easy. Overall, I think this is a very good choice for pizza in the Barrington/East Bay area for a casual dining experience or for take out. We enjoyed our meal, and we have been back several times. The prices are very reasonable, especially with the Monday-Thursday specials where pizzas and sandwiches are half price. On a Tuesday evening, my wife and I had dinner for two, and spent only $15! You can't beat that!

Tried this place a few times and haven't had much luck in many aspects. Ordered pizza and somehow missing a few key ingredients. Had delivery and food came slightly warm and half the order was wrong. I've called to have them resolve the problem, and I get no where. Pizza is not terrible, but their help is lacking. Hire people who know how to deal with customers.

This was my first visit and it was very disappointing. I went there right around lunchtime and they didn't have any slices available so I had to wait about 10 minutes or so. No big deal since they were making a fresh pizza anyway. The pizza itself was very blah. For thin crust pizza, it was very doughy and chewy. I definitely would have preferred it to be cooked a little more and crispier. The sauce was good and there was a decent amount of cheese, but nothing on this pizza really stood out, flavor wise. This will be my first and last visit.

A week later and I'm already giving an update and bumping them up a star. We had my family's fantasy football draft at my house this past Sunday. Ordering pizza is always the easiest way to go and I compared the Mangia prices to the place I ordered from last year. Mangia looked like the way to go and I could also get a gluten-free pizza, which I needed for my niece. I needed 5 large pizzas plus a gluten-free pizza ready for me at 5:00 on the dot for pickup. I called them at three to pl ace the order and let them know I had to have it ready for 5. The woman on the phone was again very helpful and assured me the order would be ready at 5:00. I arrived at 4:57 and the last pizza was coming out f the oven. I was on my way by 5:03. The order was $15 less than last year for more pizza. The young man that took care of me was great and even asked if he could get me something while I waited for the last pizza! I really liked the margherita pizza that we added chicken to. It was really tasty as was the buffalo chicken pizza. I wasn't a fan of the pepperoni or the four meat pizza as the meats were very salty. This really is a good option for a large order.

Pizza is extremely mediocre. Way too much oregano in the sauce. It overpowers the whole pie, almost taste medicinal. Antipasto was just okay. Salad tasted like it came in a bag and they gave us creamy italian instead of regular italian dressing. Not even their own dressing, which is always a disappointment. garlic bread was good, but dry. Cheap bread. Overall disappointment.

when we want a good pie this is where we order from. I find that we need to order extra cheese to have the "regular" amount but once we knew it was fine. Very friendly staff.

Had the buffalo chicken wrap and it was pretty good. The service was SLOWWWW. I was the only person in the place and I waited about 45 mins for my sandwhich. Maybe its becuase they are new, hopefully they learn to speed things up

When I read the Boston Globe review that they have posted inside (admittedly from 5 years ago), in which they mention "thin crust," "New Haven," "Pepe's pizza," etc, I got my hopes up. Thin crust? Yup. Sweet and snappy red sauce? Check. Fresh basil and good mozzarella on the Margherita pizza? Uh huh. But unfortunately, it misses. Our pizzas were lukewarm when we got them, and we ate in! The crust was crisp, but it just didn't have the snap or crackle of Pepe's and the crumb was bready. The clam pie didn't register any garlic flavor (I have dreams of Pepe's white clam pie...) and the clams were clearly canned, unlike Pepe's which are fresh. It's not bad pizza. It's just not great thin crust pizza...

Ok. I decided to try this place again since the first time I thought a lot of the reasons they weren't good was because they just opened and they were having start up issues. Nope, It was the same, they said 40 mins to pick up, when we did, the pizza obviously has been sitting a while, it was cold and over cooked. There were almost no toppings and consider they charge $2.50 for one or two meatballs on the pie, ridiculous . The girl who took the phone order once again had no idea what she was doing and kept putting me on hold during the order. I too really wanted this place to do well, I love NY style pizza, but this isn't going to cut it. Anyone who knows NY style pizza won't recognize it here, with the dry crust, almost no cheese and toppings and way over priced. I guess I'm back to trekking to Thayer St for good NY pizza. I wonder if Pizzaco is doing pizza....... Someone has to save Barrington from subpar pizzas!. Oh and almost forgot, if your going to charge top dollar for a salad, shouldn't you serve your own homemade dressing and not Ken's Steak House pre-packaged dressing?

Mangia, Mangia,Mangia !!! Great family place. My wife and I stopped there on the way home from a local youth football game, and have to say that it's as authentic as they claim. Unless you want to drive to Providence this is a great place for the specialty pizzas your looking for. It's a tiny place, but very cozy and accommodating. They went out of their way to make my small family of four very comfortable. Great job by all, keep up the good work and good luck with your future.

I am giving Mangia 4 stars but i think it only deserves 3. Oh Well! I feel like this place just hasn't gotten in it's groove yet. I have ordered take out twice. The people that work there have been very friendly and helpful. The first time I ordered buffalo wings and the clam pizza. The wings were a little small but very tasty. The pizza was good just slightly over cooked. My last trip I ordered a chicken parm sandwich. The person on the phone told me 20 minutes. I figured that was the standard response and headed over to pick it up. After all was said and done the sandwich took about 30 minutes. The place was empty! Anyway..... I headed out to eat my sandwich down at the marina. To my surprise this was the best chicken parm sandwich i have ever had. It was huge but I still finished it because it was sooooo good. Fresh bread, tasty sauce, perfect amount of cheese and awesome chicken. I really hope Mangia stays for a while in Barrington. We need a nice spot for good pizza and a hopefully quick sandwich.
