I tried Bagels Etc. for the first time this week and have been back once already. Its nice to find a place to grab a quick sandwich in this area featuring Boar's Head meats and cheeses. Love the excellent selection of coffee, hot and cold. Excellent service, quick and friendly. Many different kinds of bagels and cream cheeses to choose from all homemade. Try the lox bagel, it's delicious.

I have a certified addiction to Bagels Etc. We have been house hunting and no trip to Barrington is complete without a stop to Bagels Etc for a sesame bagel with veggie cream cheese and a slice of tomato. It's. So. Good. The service is friendly, the bagels come fast, and these little round doughy delights are the closest I've seen to New York City-style bagels in New England. If we move to Barrington, watch out, cause I'm gonna be there on the daily.

This place is way too expensive for the quality of food and time it takes for the food to get to you. I had family from out of town visit and they went here for breakfast and they couldn't even finish a bagel because they said it tasted worse than store bought. One time I ordered a wrap and grabbed a soda and cost me over $9 and the size of the wrap was miniscule.

Through reading about Bagels Etc on Yelp I thought I might be able to get a good bagel in the East Bay and I was not disappointed at all. Although the trend for bagels and muffins has been bigger is better, I really appreciate that Bagels Etc sets its own path. The bagels are not huge but are a sensible size and very good. The sesame bagel toasted is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside....the places is bright and clean...the kids working there are all friendly and give a warm greeting...and for a small place the variety offered for breakfast and lunch is fine.

I go for the onion bagel with lox spread while the hubster gets the onion bagel with straight up lox and cream cheese. We both approve. I've also been tempted by other flavors such as salt bagel, spinach, asiago cheese and even the sprouted grain. Ordering is kind of hectic since there always seems to be too many girls working. I think at one point there were 3 different people making my one bagel....And it's a little creepy that the counter staff are mostly young, pretty girls and the clientele are ALL guys and men....except me. I sort of felt like I was messing up the balance when I went with my husband but at least now I know to make sure I do the Saturday morning bagel run and NOT him. :) So flirting aside and ordering confusion too, the bagels are clearly house made and they have quite an extensive menu of bagel sandwiches. I can't really attest to prices since my husband insists on his fancy lox which always costs an arm and a leg.

Food isnt bad but portion size is way too small for the price. Have been there multiple times, each time leaving feeling ripped off.

Great bagels. Fresh and unique flavors each day. Great soups and lunch meats. the service is always great here. they have some really fun flavors of iced coffee and drinks of that nature . lunch and breakfast specials every day. if you haven't been here you need to stop in. they're always trying something new with their sandwiches. the owner stops and talks to you if he recognizes you. all around great shop

If you're going to put the word Bagels in the name of your business, you better do bagels right. And Bagels Etc does. The bagels are always fresh, always delicious. I saw another reviewer complain about hard bagels but we've been going there for 10 years and I can't recall a bad experience, ever. Lots of varieties of bagels if that's what you like; great bagel sandwiches; great coffee -- somewhere between the overly mild Dunkin and the overly strong Starbucks. Sure, sometimes the young staff can be a little slow, particularly during school breaks when it's sort of reunion time. But as a Barrington resident, going to Bagels Etc is both about the good food and the local flavor. It's hard to not run into people you know -- either behind the counter or on the line.

All of the employees were standing in the back when I arrived today. I made eye contact with a number of them, but they just continued to do what they were doing instead of coming out to help me. After a minute or two a very friendly young lady came out to help me. Today I stopped in for bagels for the family. I ordered two bagel sandwiches, one bagel with cream cheese and two cans of pop. When they rang me up it was $23!! Really?? I was going to ask for a list of charges, but decided I would just enjoy my bagels from here for the last time. It really is a shame because they have a really good product, but the prices are just ridiculous.

What a tasty bagel! I stopped in here mid-morning on a Friday. It wasn't too busy and I was taken care of right away. There is a nice selection of bagels and cream cheeses. I went with an asiago with plain cream cheese and I really liked it. The woman who took care of me was extremely friendly and efficient. Since I also ordered a coffee, she offered to start a coffee club card for me, but I declined. They have a decent selection of flavored and regular coffees. I was really impressed with the lunch menu on the board. Lots of delicious sounding wraps and salads. They sell and use Boar's Head meats. I'm going to have to stop in try lunch some time.

Being from Philly, I have been searching for pork roll, egg, and cheese on a bagel. I have finally found it!

I LOVE THIS PLACE AND I HAVE NEVER EVEN BEEN THERE! Quick story, I work with the owner's mother in law and she brings me back his bagels! I am in love! I have to get these bagels shipped to me because these bagels are amazing! I am literally eating an everything bagel right now!! The bagels are to die for - soft, moist, the perfect crunch when toasted, flavorful, etc!! PLEASE open a Bagels Etc in Poughkeepsie, NY! :) Thank you for making my mornings! -Celia

This place makes their own cream cheese and bagels which makes for a very satisfying spinach bagel, lox and cream cheese sandwich. I am actually amazed by the number of times I've gotten a blank stare in response to me asking whether or not they sell lox at every other bagel place I've been to in RI.....sacrilege!

This place rocks my world in every way! Great bagels (the spinach is my guilty pleasure), the coffee (Sumatra blend has made me cheat on Starbucks) and the service are exceptional. We are there every weekend... Sometimes twice! Love, love, love them!

Asiago bagel toasted with roast beef and chive cream cheese... yum! I didn't think lunch at a bagel place would be so satisfying!

When I worked in the East Bay, this was THE stop I made to get my bagel on. Relatively convenient location, easy parking, great quality and variety, and awesome customer service. The prices are reasonable, too. Whether it's cream-cheese-lox-onion-capers on a garlic, a roast beef sandwich with lettuce and tomato on an onion, or a dozen assorted for the house, it's all good. All of it. They also cater, although that end of their business (beyond the bagel sandwiches) isn't that impressive.

The main attraction would be the bagels, which are quite good. There is a good variety, running from standards (plain, sesame, poppy seed), to spinach or asiago. The multigrain is particularly tasty. "A dozen" means a baker's dozen. The Bagel Shop also makes good sandwiches, especially the breakfast bagels. For the traditionalist, the bagel with cream cheese and lox is great. (Be careful: you can order either a cream cheese and lox or cream cheese lox. The first is a bagel smeared with cream cheese and slices of lox on top. The second is cream cheese with lox mixed in.) On Sunday mornings, the line gets quite long as the Barringtonians all come in when their church services let out.

My wife went in the other day to pick up a half dozen bagels. Bottom line is they didn't taste fresh. I'm no bagel expert, but I don't think a bagel is supposed to hurt your jaw on day 1. Day 2 maybe...day 3 ok. You're better off finding a Panera Bread or a New York Bagel Co. Bring back Brueggers!!

Great Bagels but really slow and annoying service. Kids are kids-I guess that's the story here. Without strong management the high school girls who staff this place will stand around waiting for a bagel to toast instead of taking care of another customer at the same time. Been here twice in the last two weeks and they have screwed my very simple order up each time (toasted bagel dark with cream cheese on the side)....I mean how difficult is that? Let's see how they do this morning. (Next day:) well I guess the third time was the charm. Perfect service, perfect order, no mess up. This is a great local place. I make that point because a Brueggers Bagel location opened a year ago in a better location about a block away...and guess what: it closed this week. The local place beat them at the bagel game. It is REALLY important that LOCAL people patronize LOCAL shops or they simply will not be there any more. Bagels Etc. needs to improve their service (the waiting line is waaaaaayyy to long) but it is a good local business with great bagels (Dunkin Donuts doesn't sell bagels they sell bread doughnuts, note the spelling they call bagels. Ech.) But they deserve your support. Unless you want your retail shops empty and boarded up...get off the damn Internet and go shop with them. They are there for you...be there for them or they won't be there at all. And that includes Bagels Etc. I will be back for breakfast on Monday!

More commonly known as "The Bagel Shop," this simple shop offers a large selection of bagels and Boar's Head deli meats. It is usually staffed by high school students and has a great small town feel.

I've been living in Barrington for 3 years and have missed this place entirely. The bagels here are fantastic! I can't wait to come back and try some of their wrap and salad specials for lunch - the menu for all meals is extensive. Coffee was better than Brueggers but not better than Dunkin Donuts. They need more signage I only just saw their 12 inch yard signs this past week - it's right next to the Residental real estate office. Can't wait to go back.

The bagels are yummy, the bagel sandwiches are great. The service? not so great. I'm not always willing to wait 20 minutes for a bagel sandwich. They have plenty of girls back there making bagels, so i dont understand why it takes so long. Well, I do, the girls are constantly gabbing and it slows them down quite a bit. I am usually desperate for a bagel if I come here.

This is where I first fell in love with bagels. An everything bagel with cream cheese. That's all I have to say.
