Went here in my college days and stopped by for breakfast, to see if they were still as good as they were. and yes they were. It is hard to find a local mom & pop that still cares about the quality of their food. Examples. the home-fries were perfect and crispy as they are made from actual fresh potatoes, not pre-frozen or presliced. Eggs are made to order, and how you want them. If you are coming for other meals the mashed potatoes are not from flakes, and meatloaf is made with love. It is that down home feeling that reminds of the diner in the 60's or more like cheers. Everyone is welcome and they are friendly. it is simple homegrown cooking for a great price. Still a cash only establishment (ATM around corner), no fancy coffee or teas, and soda is a choice from whatever is in the cooler. The owners are getting older so not a place if you are in a rush, but a great place for a leisurely breakfast/ brunch. Four stars compared to other diners.
