There is no faster, no fresher, and no better pizza around! I'm fortunate that they are local to me for delivery... But well worth taking a drive for moments or miles if they don't come to you

DiCarlo's is fantastic, but understand why the pizza is different before going. Cold cheese pizza is the norm in some parts of western Pa and OH, you can get it melted, but the cold cheese is good. The sauce was great and so were the peppers and pepperoni. Sure it's a little more expensive than Domino's, but they use fresh ingredients and you can taste the difference! Yum! Oh and make friends with them on Facebook, they run specials all of the time.

Di Carlo's pizza has amazing square cut slices and Italian sandwiches (that are huge btw). You can get the slices original, where the pizza and toppings are cooked and then cheese added on top after, or you can get it with the cheese melted along with everything else. The Italian sandwiches are enough to split between two. Served with the cheese gooey and piled with Italian meats, it was a treat to bite into the flavorful crust and experience it first hand.

Wonderful pizza. Original style was great! The crust was perfect, sauce was excellent, and toppings were great. Quality all around. We will certainly be back!

The staff are cool dudes. Open kitchen at the bar - fun to watch during the hectic times. The pace is small, but manages to have decent seating for the size. They execute their pizza well, but I'm just not a fan of the style (thick crust, provolone cheese, square). Their non-pizza items are quite good. The pepperoni rolls will not disappoint.

Specialty pepperoni was very thin with little flavour, spicy capicola was also tasteless with little flavour. Opted to have my cheese melted and it may have been better cold as it didn't have the sumptuous gooey yummyness one expects with pizza. Sauce was heavy and frankly overpowering. Would never go back.

It is now our favorite pizza on York...we have to travel 20-25 mins. to pick it up, but it is so worth it. When ordering, they will ask you if you want "melted or original". Ask for melted cheese, just because it is want we are used to, it also comes original style which means the provolone cheese, I'm guessing it is put on after the pizza comes out of oven. We haven't tried anything else on the menu but it all looks great!!!

Not your everyday pizza! The pizza crust is crispy, sauce is yummy and fresh. Pizza is MTO, so it comes to the table hot.

Fun and tasty casual pizza place with a unique taste and look. Love the square cut pizza. Great crust. Delicious pepperoni rolls. Good salad. Fun decor. Love the curbside pickup convenience. So glad you opened in downtown York.

Stopped in during Lunch on 2/25/2014, had the pizza, this is what most people refer to as an "Italian Bakery Style" pizza. It blends a combination of Sicilian style with "Italian grandma style" for a thin and crispy Sicilian crust, a solidly good sauce. The oddities, are that they use Provolone rather than Mozzarella, so the cheese is more flavorful, but it doesn't melt as easily, and the toppings on my slices were what I call afterthought toppings, where the pizza is fully cooked, and then the toppings are added resulting in undercooked toppings. I feel torn, because it is well executed pizza for what it is, but I personally dislike the texture of the cheese and especially the undercooked toppings (peperoni in this case). The crust was perfectly executed, but the use of crumbled provolone made for messy eating, and a flavor profile that I probably wouldn't seek out myself. I will likely go back to test their calzones or subs, but I do not believe their pizza is to my personal taste.

Great and unique. The slices are crispy and square (similar to what New Yorkers refer to as Sicilian style). They also offer it original (non melted shredded provolone) put on at the end or you can choose melted. So, if you are looking for a traditional triangle slice of pie this is not your place. However, I thought it was great and would highly recommend it. I have tried all types of pizza and love most, but this is definitely a unique treat as long as you know what to expect walking in.

Don't listen to unadventurous Yorkers with boring palates. DiCarlo's pizza is awesome. "Cold cheese" style pizza is something I'd never tried and I was so glad that I did. It saddens me that enough people walked through the door and were so afraid to try something new that DiCarlo's had to start offering "normal" pizza. Quit being so stuck in your ways, York!
